When we noticed water sipping out from under our basement floor which had been waterproofed 5 years ago, we were dumbfounded and could not figure out where the water was coming from. After almost a week, I called the company from which we have a maintenance service plan with. The plumber came the next day and the moment he saw our water tank, he immediately told us that it needs replacing and it could go anytime. He also gave me a rough estimate of how much a replacement will cost. It was getting worse and we had to use a dehumidifier to get rid of the water. I was emptying the dehumidifier tank 3 or 4 times a day. Finally decided to call three plumbing companies - one local who said I will be charged $175 just for a plumber to come and assess the issue even though I already said that it has a leak and needs replacement. Even if I was willing to pay the ‘initial assessment fee’ they could not tell me when their plumber can come; another one did not return my call and finally, I took a chance and called Aquino Plumbing after seeing a lot of recommendations from our FB town page. I left a message and on the same day in less than an hour Cyndi called and listened to the details of my issue. The moment she heard the word ‘leak’ she was immediately sympathetic and knew that it would mean replacement of the tank. She asked for pictures of the existing tank and the sticker to determine the current type and the appropriate replacement to be able to give me an estimate. However, since we have a very tight space in the basement where the water heater is located, I requested an estimate for a tankless too. Cyndi provided all the details and told me I can reach her anytime either text or call. After getting all the information and discussing with my husband, I reached out to Cyndi again late that evening and she responded. She arranged for their plumbers to stop by the next morning and scheduled us for the tankless replacement the day after. Darren and Gabe came before 9 am, and started working on removing the leaking 50 gal tank and installed our new Navien tankless water heater. It took a long time because of the very tight space. Both were very courteous and respectful. They encountered issues with the installation but were able to figure out the best way to route the new pipes needed. Explained exactly what they will be doing before hand. They worked hard and made sure everything were connected properly. Explained the unit thoroughly and were very pleasant. Cleaned up after the work was completed. Very professional.

10/7/24: Tankless Water Heater Maintenance:

Darren came and performed maintenance on our tankless water heater. Explained the process and the importance of maintaining the system and what to look out for early sign of issues. Such an honest and delightful person. Thank you for doing a great job and being respectful of our place. He had no issues wearing disposal shoes boots and cleaned up where he worked. Made sure everything is working fine and everything is clean.

Aquino is the best!! Prompt service, transparent and great pricing, and super knowledgeable professionals! My wife and I bought a new dishwasher that the supplier refused to install until we replaced our valve. I call Ross at Aquino and he and his team jumped right on it! Two days later, Darren and Javier came, replaced two valves, explained what they were doing and the cost before the work started, and within in hour, I was good to go! Thank you for the awesome help!

I have had 2 great experiences with Aquino Plumbing. The first time was fall-winter 2024. We did a major home renovation which included an entire house plumbing upgrade, new waste lines, new outdoor and indoor water lines with pex, new baseboard heat, new gas lines and the final fitting of bathroom fixtures. I believe the team went above and beyond to meet our renovation timeline and the work was of high quality.

Recently Dec 2025, we woke up to our heat being out in the 20 degree weather. I contacted Cyndi and she had a team out within a couple of hours. They diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly at a very reasonable cost.

Marc was incredibly personable and professional when he came to remove the toilet and sink vanity so flooring could be installed. I was so impressed with his thoroughness that I had him come back to replace my shower valves and install a new shower mount and tub faucet. This company has made my life incredibly difficult. I've rented a property from them for two years, and six months prior to moving out, I informed them that I was leaving due to family issues. I even offered to clean up, patch up, and repaint the apartment before departing, which I did.

However, when it came time to move out, I spoke with Jamie Ruiz, who turned out to be very uncooperative. Despite my assurances that everything was in order, she inspected the apartment with me and then billed me $600 for painting only two rooms - a cost that included keeping $600 of my money. When I questioned her about landlords' obligations regarding maintenance, she insisted that I was responsible for the expense.

To make matters worse, when I asked them to provide 24-hour notice before entering my property and to ensure someone was home during work hours, they failed to meet these basic requests. Instead, they simply walked into my apartment with their own keys while my 17-year-old daughter was home alone and showering, causing her undue distress.

This experience has been nothing short of appalling. I would strongly advise anyone considering renting from this company to avoid them at all costs. They will take advantage of you financially and treat you poorly - it's a nightmare scenario for tenants.
