Went to store searching for some hard to find parts and they were super helpful amd were able to get me the meter pans I NEEDED SO I OPENED AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM. They embodied what and how a supply house should treat there customers and electricians. thank you guys .

I contacted 2 additional local specialty electrical suppliers for this conduit part. A-Van Electric was the only supplier to carry it and have it available. Their customer service was excellent. Thank you A-Van.

Friendly and helpful staff and prices seem reasonable, but they sold me what appeared to be a used circuit breaker. I looked up the date code at home and it indicated that it's over 15 years old. I'm fairly certain that an electrical supply house would have a constant supply of new breakers, so I guess they thought they could slip a non-contractor their garbage and re-sell it as new?

Needed a ground fault circuit breaker on a holiday weekend to keep pool running and they came through. The breaker was also an upgraded version which alerted me to a low level ground fault which was causing intermittent tripping. Buy from your local supplier, it makes a difference.

Out of the way and not very busy...perfect! No line to wait in, the Saturday I shopped there. The Counter Guy was so nice...he was not going to leave any stone un-turned, looking for the odd-ball mud ring I needed. Service got them the five stars.

This place is great, I recently purchased equipment for my business and needed electrical supplies quick. Heard of A-VAN through a friend so i figured why not. They not only greeted me like a friend of their own. I was told exactly what i needed and how to use it. I wish i remembered the name of the young man who helped me but in all honesty everyone there seemed very well educated. Thumbs up for sure!!

I went in with a torn 110V ac transformer plug (to 24V) that was for my sprinkler system. it was torn because of the weight and falling out of the outlet. I explained this to the counter guy and he went and found me a new transformer (with a green power light) and gave me 2 feet of 16 guage wire. He walked me through what i needed to do with it. There was also a regular customer there making a purchase that showed interest in my issue. The price was good ($22.00 total). i went home and was up and running in 10 minutes. i would recommend this store to anyone doing electrical work and I will go back there for future purchases. Great electric supplier in the area, cords,plug ends, light fixtures. If you're not sure of the part, just bring the old one in and have a good chance they might have it. Or call ahead.

I was taking care of a good customer nearby--one of my last jobs as an installer as I'm going back to software engineering to work with AI--and needed a few feet of cable and a couple of wire nuts. I'd never been there before and mentioned that I was getting out of this business.

So, knowing I'm not going to be repeat business, the guy took care of me. I didn't have to buy more than I needed. I was able to finish my client's work and without undue cost to either one of us. If not good business, it was sure as hell good people. He had no financial incentive to do me right, he just did it.

They appeared to be well stocked with tools and supplies. Well staffed and, from my brief conversation with another member while the first got my stuff, knowledgeable too.
