He explained that replacing a compressor was not an option and we'd have to replace the entire unit, which would cost thousands of dollars. My landlord opted to wait for PSE&G's service instead.

However, when PSE&G finally showed up, they only needed to replace two fuses on the breaker and a compensator – relatively inexpensive parts that were easily accessible. The compressor wasn't even broken. It was clear that the initial diagnosis was incorrect.

I wouldn't recommend this service to anyone due to the subpar quality of the technicians. They seemed more interested in making money than actually fixing the issue. I ended up paying around $137 for a faulty diagnosis, which is frustrating.
