Had an excellent experience with Chris and his team in getting a rapid charger installed for our Mustang Mach-E. Chris was attentive when getting the specs for the job and clearly communicated timelines and costs (including permit fees from the town). The job was done timely and professionally with no mess left behind. Permit was approved by the town without a hiccup. Will definitely use Chris and his guys for any future electrical work and highly recommend him for your own needs.

Excellent service. I had a sub-panel and an EV Level 2 charger installed with them. They were able to schedule the work quickly within two weeks. They did a nice and clean job. I would definitely recommend them and would hire them again.

I installed level 2 EV charger in my garage. Everything went on seamless. Chris is extremely helpful to figure out what has to be done. I have met some other electricians for my house work so far but Chris's broad knowledge all about the electricity is just incomparable. I will definitely recommend Chris if anybody want to install EV charger at home. 100% reliable, peace of mind from A to Z.

Stop and look no further! I cannot recommend Born & Raised Renovation enough. I received the recommendation from an acquaintance as I had experienced disappointment in the past with similar projects. Though the water damage had occurred in October, I did not try to fix it all the way until February; I had approached this task with significant reticence expecting it to take weeks of back and forth interactions and difficulty with scheduling.

Our experience with Chris was a breath of fresh air -- and quite the opposite of what I expected. Chris was not only courteous and professional but was prompt to respond and thorough in his conversations with me. He provided a break down of the estimated cost (by line item) prior to the start of service. He was flexible with his time and worked on my timeline (with short notice to boot!). I knew after our first meeting that he could be trusted with fixing our kitchen ceiling. What's more, he was respectful of the space and cleaned so well that I could barely tell he had been there (no, really, I had to squint). You can tell he is proud of the quality of his work (rightfully so) and aims to protect the living space from dust and debris that so naturally comes with these kinds of projects. I not only encourage others to utilize his service but also look forward to future projects to be completed with him. Zero complaints and only positive feedback from me. He even painted the ENTIRE ceiling so the work would not be obvious and, in so doing, also painted over the dirty hand prints left by previous workers.

As an added bonus, he was so patient with my two-year-old, explaining what he was doing when my son showed interest.

Chris and his team replaced my electrical panel and upgraded my electrical service. They did a great job; the work was especially neat, they were able to correct some mistakes done by previous electricians, and they finished in a day, which was huge given the scope of the job and that we would not have had electricity overnight otherwise. They handled all permitting, and the experience was professional through the entire process. I would highly recommend Born and Raised to anyone looking to have major electrical work done on their home or condo!

I was provided the contact info for Born & Raised by an acquaintance, and I could not be more grateful for this stroke of luck. After waking up on a Monday morning to the "drip... drip... drip" of a leak in the bedroom from above (cue hunting down the source of the leak and discovering that we had mold that was separately resolved), I knew exactly who to contact. Since I had been familiar with Chris and his thorough attention to detail, persistence in finding solutions, and problem-solving approach to projects, I knew there was only one person for the job. I reached out to Chris in late October (post mold mitigation), and we jointly decided to start the project on January 8th due to my own scheduling conflicts.

There are no words. Quick responses? Consistently a yes. Attentiveness to our needs? Consistently yes. Patience while I asked potentially mundane questions to someone with experience replacing walls, flooring, backsplash, etc.? Absolutely. Chris and his team (HUGE thank yous to Cesar, Angel, Herman, Anthony) will take care of everything.

This huge project that we did not choose to undertake was minimally stressful thanks to the support and attention from Born & Raised. So much so that my wife and I went on our 10th anniversary trip for a week and had ZERO concerns while away. Born & Raised communicated with our insurance company (which was a huge financial relief for us), kept in contact, and reminded me of time-sensitive selections (like paint, backsplash, flooring stain, etc.).

Though I recommend Born & Raised across the board, I especially appreciate their interest in and excellent skill in:
-painting (my God, I'm ruined. RUINED. You have never seen painting like this in your life, and I've previously hired other professional painters. It's obscene how perfect it is)
-electrical work
-cleanliness (highly limited dust--there was taping and plastic put up to protect other spaces, as well as protection to the floor)
-the backsplash... Angel is a master of his craft. Absolutely gorgeous. It brought my wife to tears.
-responsiveness

And in case all of the above has not convinced you to make the right choice and choose Born & Raised, I'd like to end with two notes. 1) What we were quoted was the price we paid; granted, nothing had to be added or modified and nothing else occurred that needed attention. But it is so unlike my prior experiences with contractors. 2) There was a professional cleaning of the space after completion that was included that made our space look magazine-ready.

I am sad to say that I do not have before photos... My mistake. But trust me, even though my home had been remodeled just 4 years before, it had been very poorly done by the previous owner. I cannot begin to describe the immediate difference to the naked eye in the quality of work. (Excuse the lack of stove, we had our new one delivered after it was taken.)

Thank you again, Born & Raised; we cannot wait to work with you again in the future (...though hopefully that's the last of our leak issues for awhile).

Born & Raised Electric did a fantastic job installing my Chargepoint HomeFlex EV charger in my house......Chris was very helpful in advising me which charger to purchase that qualified for the PSE&G rebates,they handled applying for the permits from my town and rebates from PSE&G.I was able to get incentives from my car dealership,my Costco membeship also gave me incentives to purchase an EV auto..... and Born & Raised Electric was able to do the installation at no charge to me.
I highly recommend them if you need to install an EV charger in your home.

Born & Raised Electric came out to install my EV charger as well as a bunch of extra work associated with it (tandem breakers, electric load management systems, etc). They were so incredibly easy to work with. They have a texting platform that allowed me to schedule a convenient date/time with someone in real time via text. As a busy mom with a toddler, this was so much more convenient for me versus a phone call. They also used this texting system to text me notifications where they were on their way that morning and when they arrived. They did the job extremely neatly (lined up wires/boxes extremely precisely so it was also visually appealing) and kept the area clean. They kept me posted via text as they were progressing through (warning when they had to turn off power briefly, 15 min warning prior to finishing, when to come out to test) which again was just so convenient to me instead of popping in and out of the house with updates (I have two very loud barking dogs which would make this inconvenient too). To the point, professional, clean, and clear communication - I would highly recommend B&RE to anyone getting an EV charger in the area.
