We had a disastrous experience with DB Mechanical when we needed emergency repair work done on our boiler in December 2024. Despite being quick to respond, they overcharged us and didn't deliver the expected level of service.

When the work was done, the heat wasn't adequate, and it wasn't until another plumber verified that the circulation pump was installed upside down that we realized what had gone wrong. When I contacted DB Mechanical about the issue, their installer claimed he'd find someone else to look into it while in Europe.

The technician who came out eventually confirmed that the circulation pump was installed incorrectly and made the necessary adjustment. However, they also admitted to not addressing air in the pipes or bleeding the lines in each unit, which wasn't included in the original quote and wasn't communicated to us.

Within 24 hours of my complaints, many residents were still experiencing issues with their heating. I arranged for another plumber to bleed the pipes, only to find that DB Mechanical hadn't properly cleaned out the circulation pump or addressed the air issue. The units had so much soot in them that needed to be cleaned.

It took a lot of effort to get the heating working properly again, and it's disappointing that DB Mechanical wasn't thorough in their work and didn't communicate everything that was needed upfront. I'm left with no choice but to advise others against using this company and to avoid them at all costs.
