Bolkema came out to help my mother-in -law on Saturday night because she ran out of oil and house was freezing the person who I spoke to on the phone and the technician who came, within an hour, were kind, courteous and so helpful thank you so much for your help we’re so appreciative

A family owned company full of hard working people that will go above and beyond what the customer request. If you need fuel filters, lubricants, oil, degreaser, boiler Service and repair these are the people to Call.

Bolkema Fuel recently provided ongoing fuel service for several weeks to a construction site. They were prompt and very professional. John was an excellent communicator and was instrumental in the project staying on course.

Have never used this service, but your drivers might want to practice a little more common sense with your company vehicles. Thanks a lot for blocking my truck in the parking lot. Maybe take a driver’s course sometime to learn how to park your vehicles.

These people know what customer service is all about. Everyone I've dealt with at Bolkema has been friendly and helpful. On more than one occasion they've driven out on a cold night to deliver emergency fuel when I ran out. Cant say enough good things about this company and I wont ever use anyone else.

I originally gave this company a 4 star rating but after I was messaged by the owner being told I've never been there before and demanding I remove my "spam" 4 star rating I decided to lower it to 3 stars.
Hey owners you're incorrect in assuming that I've never been to your establishment because you don't have my name on file. Turns out I've worked for one of the large local landscaping companies for years and I often go to your location to pick up drums of fluids and cases of oil for our fleet of over 50 vehicles and hundreds of pieces of equipment.
Oh I originally gave 4 stars because the employee loading our purchase insisted on chain smoking while handling all the flammable fluids, gave me an incorrect item which I had to drive back and exchange on my lunch break and gouged up the floor of the truck with a forklift before slamming a 40 gallon drum of oil down into the bed.
I tried to keep it classy by just leaving 4 stars without an actual written explanation why, but since you asked there you go.

Always attentive, fair and reasonable

At first, I was a little apprehensive in having a heating company fix my A/C, but the whole experience was great! They were able to fit me in the same day, were almost on time, and got me up and running quickly.

They replaced the A/C capacitor and even hooked up my C wire for a very reasonable price, especially considering they took care of everything the same day I called.

Such a great company to deal with! Got my oil furnace up and running in tip top shape. The owner and technicians are knowledgeable, pleasant, and friendly. I highly recommend Bolkema!

just had both central air systems replaced by Bolkema. Very happy The work was completed on time, the team worked professionally They keep work area clean. Both central air conditioning systems are keeping my home cool. I would recommend Bolkema Fuel Co for heating and air conditioning

I give Bolkema a five star review. I needed to have a Bosch condescending boiler installed. I called up and spoke to Gordon. And we emailed back-and-forth with photos of the job, and he gave me a very fare price.
Having been without hot water and heat for two weeks, Gordon quickly fit us into his schedule.
The plumbers Dave and Greg came and did the job. Their work was very neat, and they got the job done in one day.
Everyone at Bolkema was very professional and took care of us quickly. I highly recommend Bolkema.

My furnace stopped working so I called Bolkema. They said they would come out the same day and call 15 minutes before which is exactly what they did. The technician found that last time it was serviced (by a different company) they failed to glue a part which is what made it stop working. The technician sent me several photos detailing the problem which allowed me to get my money back from the original repair company. They gave a fair price and no extra charge to pay by card. Great Mahwah business and I will for sure use them again.

I first used Bolkema years ago when I had a leak on a holiday weekend, and no one else answered their phone! Since then we’ve used them for water heaters, a furnace, and unfortunately other emergencies, including one recently when the person who answered my call at the office got in a company truck to come immediately when no one else was available. They have best customer service I’ve ever experienced.

Called to see if they could service my oil burner and furnace which was originally sold to me by Bolkema. We had no heat in the house and needed help. Was rudely told by the owner that since we don’t buy our oil from Bolkema they would not repair or work our furnace. Very rude and surprising that the owner of a family owned business would refuse to provide a desperately needed service. Called Shotmeyer Brothers and they were more than willing to help irregardless of where we buy our heating oil.
