I can't recommend Mason's Chimney service highly enough. They rebuilt and capped our crumbling chimney stack, and lined the chimney of our three story home from the top of our very steep roof. They were consummately professional and took great pride in the work they do. They were always courteous and friendly. They began and finished the job within the time frame they estimated, and kept the job site clean and safe for the duration of the work. Their price was more than fair for the quality of the work they do. Don't hesitate to hire them to work on your chimney!

Mason's Chimney Service is awesome! We have been living in our current home for 2 years and are finally getting around to having the chimney checked so we can use it this fall/winter. We contacted Mason's because many customers gave them a great review, plus they are local to us. When they got here and started checking things out, they said some things needed to be replaced. They are going to send an estimate for that work. When I asked how much they would be charging me today to come out, they said $0. I was amazed - they took the time to put down drop cloths and bring in some equipment. I felt as though they should be paid for their time, but they wouldn't accept any money today. They were also great with our dogs! I totally recommend this company for their honesty and professionalism!

Mason's Chimney has been cleaning my wood burning stove for over ten years. I recently added the dryer vent service, which I love. These guys are very reasonably priced; but more importantly, are very professional, neat, quick, and COVID ready. They are a pleasure to have come to my home. Would recommend them to everyone. This morning Ed and Marty arrived at my home to perform a cleaning and a Level II inspection. They were on time and went to great length to place drop cloths to protect my carpeting. The cleaning and inspection were completed promptly and without any mess left behind. Having done customer service work my entire career and taking great pride in providing great customer service, these gentlemen were a pleasure to have in my home. I would heartily recommend Mason's Chimney Service to anyone needing chimney/fireplace work.

Our contact with Mason's Chimney Services began last Fall when we were interested in increasing the safety and heat efficiency of a fireplace in our family room. They recommended a Napoleon wood insert and we were thrilled with the results.
Our favorite fireplace in the house, however, was one located in the original core of our home built around 1735. We had been told a decade or so ago it was unsafe to use. We wanted to retain the outer appearance of the fireplace, but restore it to usability again. Ed and Rich suggested an Ahrens firebox restoration. The original look and charm of the fireplace remains but with all the workings replaced we can now operate it with a peaceful mind.
Mason's was back today to install another Napoleon wood insert into our third and final working fireplace. This one is located in a room that is cold in the winter and where we are not in constant attendance. The safety and heat efficiency will be appreciated there also!
Need I say at this point how much I trust and appreciate these two brothers?! You will never find more reliable and finer folk!! Stacey gets 5 stars too!!

Ed and Rich from Mason's Chimney Service installed our fireplace insert ten years ago, and they've been servicing it every year since then. They are knowledgeable in their field and always do a thorough job inspecting and cleaning our chimney. (Their family has been in the business for a long time; their father used to service my in-laws' chimney years ago.) Aside from being professionals who take pride in their work, they are really great guys who we've enjoyed getting to know over the years. We highly recommend them!

This company is amazing!! Stand up guys full of integrity-So kind, professional, reliable, knowledgeable and personable! They came on time, did exactly what they said they would and more! They began by putting a protective covering on the floor and cleaned the chimney. They even infuse natural Bees oil into the hepa filter so my entire house smelled so good. They informed me that my vent was broken out back. Some companies would of probably taken this an opportunity to charge you good amount to fix. They said run to Home Depot it’s super cheap and only four screws. They knew my husband and I could do that ourselves, quickly with no problem for hardly any money. I appreciated their feedback and honesty.
***Extra - my door handle had been broken for about week and half. They noticed it as they came in and I didn’t even realize that when Ed was cleaning the chimney, his brother fixed my door! No charge, nothing in return, just because they are nice people. I’ll be using this company in future and highly recommend them to anyone for any service done they provide.

She is friendly and helpful, always a pleasure to talk to. Rich and Ed are professional, courteous, honest and reliable. While working they take all precautions to keep the work area clean. They work thoroughly and will take the time to answer questions and give advice on getting the most from your fireplace. I would not hesitate to recommend their services. A great longtime family owned business, providing quality work and customer service the way it should be.

I had Mason’s inspect our chimney and they did a very thorough job. They explained their concerns with words and photos, and provided options to correct the issues. Rich, Stacey and Ed were all very knowledgeable—and nice people too! I was impressed with the quality of their work, as well as how careful they were to keep my home clean amidst the soot. The most important thing about your home is that it is safe, and after their visit, I feel confident that my fireplace is now sound!

We are very happy we hired Mason’s Chimney Service. We had Mason’s rebuild the top half of our chimney, replace the firebox with an Ahren-Fire firebox, and install a stainless steel flue liner. We also had them remove an unused furnace chimney, which included filling the hole in the roof where the chimney had been. They did a fantastic job and were a pleasure to work with. We were extremely impressed with Ed’s knowledge and expertise. He knew more about fire codes and safety standards than other contractors we spoke with and he anticipated some issues specific to our chimney. If we had gone with another contractor, we would have either sacrificed safety or been charged for additional work that Ed already accounted for during his initial visit. I’d highly recommend their services.

Mason’s was recommended by a good friend. She’s been using them for many years. The owner arrived on time and his inspection was detailed. Safety concerns were explained and detailed information about the recommendations was articulated in a way that we could easily understand. My husband and I bought an older home that we renovated and recently learned that the fireplace was not functional. Rich & Ed came highly recommended to us by neighbors, as well as contractors in the area. They promptly responded to my husband's email asking them to come inspect our fireplace and quickly diagnosed the issues. Throughout the entire project they were efficient, professional, punctual and NEAT. After they completed the job, I ran my vacuum and there literally was nothing to clean. Each day, they cleaned up after themselves and were also very careful with their machinery and the safety of our home. They are extremely trustworthy and knowledgeable about chimney/fireplace issues. Overall, we are really happy with our decision to use Mason's and are excited to now be able to use our beautiful fireplace. :-)

Friendly, informative, answered any question I asked. Checked to make sure the birds that had taken up residence in my chimney were gone and installed a cap to prevent any others from coming back. Definitely recommend them and will have them come back to remove old insert and install new one.

1/26/2022 Mason's Chimney Service replaced my old fireplace insert today. Did a great job and left no mess. Highly recommend them! Honest, friendly, informative and super knowledgeable!

We highly recommend Mason’s Chimney Service. They found a dangerous structural issue that a previous company that inspected our chimney did not. Mason’s repaired the issue, then installed a Ahren Fire system and new gas log set. They were wonderful to work with from start to finish. They are detail oriented and communicated with us throughout the entire job. We appreciated that they kept their work area outdoors and inside the home very clean and protected. We couldn’t be happier with our new fireplace and are relieved that the flaw was found. This could have prevented a very devastating situation. We are so grateful.
