John and his team along with his brother Michaels company, Arbor Ace, worked together to help us after two trees fell on our home during the 4/1/23 tornado. Both teams were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and professional. We are very pleased with their work and kindness during this difficult time. They made our lawn look better than before the storm! Just used Z Tree Experts to remove two large trees (well one large tree and one seven foot tall "stump," lol) off our property and I'm so glad we did. Wish I had found Z Tree sooner as over 20-years in Montclair we've used many different tree services due to storms, PSE&G hack jobs, Dutch Elm, etc. Z Tree has been the best and it's not close. John debated bringing in his giant crane but out of respect for our driveway, which has crummy but delicate pavers, he decided he could do the job for the same price with a smaller crane even though it made the job trickier for him & his crew. I know for a fact that I saved money as his pricing was extremely competitive, and when they left you couldn't even tell they were there (except of course I was minus two trees). It was spotless. And with John you won't find a nicer or easier guy to work with. Highly Recommend!

John and his crew did a phenomenal job cutting down three huge trees in our back yard. They also cleared out a significant portion of the woods in back of our house. Throughout the entire two day process John made a point to check with us to make sure we were happy with the progression of work and to see if there was anything else we would like addressed. Extremely Happy with the service John and Kyle delivered at my home in Clifton. I had a cluster of very tall mulberry trees and a row of razor sharp sticker bushes removed. John also grinded five stumps. They really went out of there way to clean up the area and to protect my existing grass. His equipment is top-notch. You would not even know they set up the truck on my lawn. Great service will use them again...before, during and after photos.

Z Tree Experts saved the day and saved my house. A massive tree fell on my house during Hurricane Helene in Greenville, SC. The only way to remove the octopus tree hugging my house was with a crane. John, working with his brother Mike, operated the crane like a pro. Broken branch by broken branch, they removed the tree and gave me peace of mind during a hyper stressful time. Absolute excellent disaster tree removal work.

Our house was built in 1840 and most trees around the house are over 150 years old. Over the years, we hired Tree Cutter companies for pruning and removal. Without reservation, Z Tree Experts, John Zelenka is the best we have ever had and we highly recommend his company. The property was left perfectly clean and they even clean the neighbor's property. We are so impressed and very happy with John.

Recent wind storms broke off a large limb that hung dangerously over my sunroom, held up only by a smaller tree. John came 20 minutes after I called, and after assessing the situation and providing a detailed plan to remove the danger, he left and came back an hour or so later with his equipment and crew. Within 3 hours, he estimated, executed and cleaned-up, saving my sunroom. Great work, expedient service, and fairly priced!

John and his company were fantastic! They went above and beyond cleaning up a huge tree, with branches across three properties. Not only did he remove the tree, he patched up (with tarps) the roof and window that were damaged from this incident. The team was friendly and professional. We had such a great experience with John and Z Tree Experts! They removed seven trees from our backyard and trimmed a bunch of others around the property. John was super professional, quick, and really thorough — you can tell he knows his stuff. The crew was awesome too and left everything spotless. Our yard feels completely different now (in the best way!) and we absolutely love it. Highly recommend them if you need any tree work done!

John and his team were really amazing. A really big tree felt right on top of my house and they came a few hours later and removed the tree and all the branches super fast and efficiently. They also covered the wholes that the tree left on my roof until I can get it fixed. They really did a great job and John is also a very nice guy. Totally recommended.

John takes care of getting the permit from the town so everything is done right within the community. His crew are very professional and friendly taking care around all our plants. For lawn protection they place section of plywood down. They work fast, efficient and safely. Working with the most updated tools and equipment available they make short work of a 60 ft Maple tree. John and his crew did a wonderful job removing a large tree from our backyard. It was in a tricky spot and they went above and beyond protecting our property to minimize the damage that could arise from removing a large tree. They completed the job in a timely manner and they were all extremely professional. The cleanup afterwards made it look like their equipment never touched our property. I had two tree removed by John and Luis and they were they did the job to perfection. They are both very professional and efficient. They removed my tree by going over my house which was amazing. Everything was left spot less. I even asked for some wood for my fire pit and John asked “how many did I want“ with no hesitation and even cut it for me. No extra charge! He was available to answer calls and any question I had. On the day of the job they arrived on time. I am a new homeowner and have tried different companies for different things and this one by far has been my best experience. The price was also reasonable, I know because I asked around and I was told it was the going price. Also, he grind down a stump that I had from a previous tree that was cut (before I bought the house). You won’t regret going with John and his team. 💯

This business is fraudulently using my address as their business address. I found out today when a woman came and rang my doorbell looking for this business. I thought it was an honest mistake, but when I looked at their ACTUAL website, they also listed my personal address as their business. I don't know who these people are, because if you call them you will get an answering service that immediately hangs up when asked why they are using a fake address. I don't know anything about their services... but I do know you should not let liars into your home... or give them you money. BUYER BEWARE!
