David is very professional and courteous person.
I am very surprised by excessive cost for repair. However, I understand that labor is very costly. -
Desmond was wonderful and very knowledgeable . He explained my dryer issues in a way I could understand, gave me tips and cleaned up when he was finished!
-
Fixed it first time out. Quick turnaround from making the appointment to repair. Pricey, but what isn't these days.

James is incredible. Honestly the only Sears tech I want to come to my house to fix my appliances
-
The tech arrived 90 minutes from first calling and had an attitude. I was not happy with his personality but his diagnostic was on target.
-
I found Jim to be knowledgeable, pleasant, and professional. He is definitely an asset of and to, your company.

Robert is a very knowledgeable, clean and courteous repair technician. If I ever need repair in the future I hope they send Robert to my aid. He's more than five stars in my book.

Sears texted me three times that the service was scheduled for Monday 2/16. But the technician arrived on Tuesday 2/17

Nightmare service.,never buy their's plan, it took 3 weeks to fix the refrigerator ,two weeks they made the appointment that technician will come, i waited 8am to 5pm and around 5 pm they massage me that technician is not coming. This is unacceptable and there is no one to talk, to talk with person you have to press option to file a new claim and then you will be able to speak someone.

The technician that arrived and ultimately fixed my stovetop was both courteous and professional. He gets 5 stars. I would rate the Sears Repair communication at a one star level. So much improvement needs to be addressed by them on the scheduling and communication levels.

He was fine.
I think it’s a scam to come here and then telll me it’s almost $600 dollars to fix the dryer. -
Had no problem figuring out the problem with the washer. Gave me an estimate and helpful advice on how to fix the problem. Very satisfied with the service.
-
Technician never called prior to arrival. Then somehow missed us and left and still sent a bill
Second try. He never showed up and claimed he did. Never use these guys. -
Technician was great! He was friendly. Diagnosed the problem quickly, had the part with him and replaced the igniter quickly.
-
Great experience with Robert. He was in and diagnosed it quickly. Repaired it and tested it quickly. Great job. Thank you.
-
He was very efficient, effective, listened and addressed all my issues and concerns. You are in my warranty network so price was great!
-
Wonderfully competent and articulate and fast repair professional. Communicative and knew what he was doing. A real pro. Give this man a raise! Thanks.

I wish you will know the price of the part and service coast before the tech gets to your place because the price I was told was ridiculous. It was better to get a new appliance. It’s not the tech’s fault but that is why you do your research and send all needed info first.

The service was my oven. It needed a new igniter. He was so professional helpful fixed the oven very quickly. He was a pleasure to deal with.

Interacting with Sears Appliance Repair has become a nightmare because there's no way to talk to a real person when you have a question or claim not included on their automated menus. So when the technician told me that the part needed for the repair was going to be shipped to my house and the part appeared as "delivered" on their website, I was trying to contact them to find out if they got the part or if I should reschedule the appointment, there was no way to find out. Not only they overcharge you for the part (they charged $ 98 for a dryer belt drive that costs $ 36.75 at GE, but they also charge you $300 for a job that was completed in 17 minutes. I wasn't home when the technician arrived, so my wife interacted with him. When I came home later, I found out that the light inside the dryer wasn't working, so I text messaged the technician who just told me that if the dryer was working, the light wasn't a problem. I don't think that this poor service is acceptable. Update: I got a reply from Sears offering to solve the problem, but they only gave me the same website and phone number that doesn't allow talking to a person. How can I explain that is not a new order but a claim from a previous order?
Update #2: These guys are just incredible. The same technician that didn't assume responsibility for the quality of his work just called and asked me if I was aware of the cost of the repair. I told him that his company was asking for a chance to do a better job and he insisted that the current problem wasn't related to the previous repair. I decided to cancel the appointment since I can't request that they send a different technician. Unless I get a phone call for a real person, I won't schedule another appointment. -
The sears Technician Desmond was great.
He was professional, timely, and his experience far exceeded requirements.
He resolved our dryer issue and explained what the root cause of the problem was.
