I had just recently bought a home. My furnace was leaking water when I had my central AC system on. So much water had leaked that the entire bottom of my furnace had completely rusted out (it had been previously rusted from God knows what).

TKMS was sent out by Cinch Home Services as a "second opinion" for what an initial service provider said was an unrepairable furnace. TKMS representative assured me that the would tell Cinch that my furnace was not repairable. What actually happened was that TKMS said that my evaporator coil was the issue and it was "recommended" that my entire furnace be replaced, but that my furnace was otherwise working.
My furnace was NOT working because if I turned it on, it would leak. The TKMS representative didn't even try to turn my furnace on to even make such a claim. He just talked and took pictures, and I have recording to prove it. The entire bottom of my furnace was shot. Putting a new evaporator coil in a rusted out, lopsided housing is like putting a new car engine in a rusted out body with no wheels: utterly pointless.
In short, the way TKMS worded their report basically screwed me over with my home warranty company because my home warranty company is offering me credit only for an evaporator coil and not for the furnace as a whole.
I wouldn't trust these people as far as I could throw them.

Everything I posted was based in truth. If you think it was an untruth or "shiesty," then that is only a reflection of your guilty conscience.

To your point 1) I DID have a home inspection, and the age of the furnace was called out by the inspector. However, the furnace was not leaking at the time and WAS functioning properly at the time of the inspection, so I couldn't do anything about it, as "age is not a defect" and all that.

To your point 2) You shouldn't assume something that you know absolutely nothing about. I am not committing fraud of any kind. If I was, I wouldn't be dumb enough to post about it in Google Reviews. I DIDN'T PURCHASE THE HOME WARRANTY POLICY. THE SELLER OF THE HOUSE PURCHASED IT; NOT ME, you absolute cement head. The policy was transferred into my name upon closing and I had no choice in the matter. If I did have a choice, I wouldn't have wanted the policy at all.

To your point 3) While what you say may be true, you were NOT the 7th person to service this issue. You were the 2nd. The home warranty company sent 1 other person out to look at the furnace, and they took over a month to find TKMS to come out to my home since the home warranty company wanted a second opinion. Once again, don't assume when you don't know the whole story, you numpty.

To your point 4) Sure, I appreciate you made an honest report, but my problem and reason for this review was because the specific representative from your company verbally assured me multiple times that he would tell the home warranty company that my furnace as a whole was unrepairable; not that only the evaporator coil was unrepairable. My issue is that one specific person in your company lied to me. If they explained the situation clearly and told me that they were going to do what actually happened, then I wouldn't have posted this review. My issue is that this person straight up lied.
I'm not committing fraud, you're assuming a great many things that you don't have all the facts about, and you're incredibly unprofessional in your response to this review. You might be an honest company, but not everyone who works for you is honest, and your online presence is unprofessional and shameful.
