Love their indoor train stations. Great Xmas trees and service, I recommend them.

Very happy with Exleys. Been a tradition for a decade at Christmas time. Never had a bad tree.

Very friendly and professional highly recommended

Our mulch delivery was 3 days late and filled with trash when it arrived. We'll never do business with them again.

We bought a tree for the holidays, on a very cold, early week day morning, so it was not crowded. Yes trees are very expensive.

IF YOU BUY A TREE MAKE SURE YOU CAN PLANT IT YOURSELF, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE GOT MY MONEY BACK AFTER A TOTALLY FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE. WAITED ALL SUMMER FOR TREE TO BE PLANTED IN FALL THEN WHEN FALL CAME HAD TO DEAL WITH TOTALLY UNPROFESIONAL SERVICE DEPT, TOTAL RUN AROUND WITH NO REGARD TO MY NEEDS. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE.

We have used Exley's for a few large hardscaping and landscaping projects and Chris E. & Nancy G.and the whole team have been wonderful to work with and do an excellent job! Highly recommend!

Exley's Landscape & Nursery transformed our backyard into a relaxing outdoor oasis! We recently had an in-ground pool installed and Exley's installed a paver patio, plants, trees, rocks and lighting around the pool. All of the installers were courteous and professional. We highly recommend Exley's to anyone in need of a professional landscape and hardscape design to help achieve the look you desire. Thank you, Exley's!

Had a great experience! Went to do hayride and corn maze with the family, and was able to tag a beautiful Christmas tree! Highly recommend visiting, especially on weekend to take part in all the activities.

I just had the worst interaction EVER with a business when I called Exley's. I recently had a car crash across my property causing damage to my landscaping, and my front yard looks simply awful. I was frustrated enough when the driver's insurance wanted me to do the legwork to get this fixed, but I had settled on Exley's to make this easy, and replace the damage with a local business. I would have then asked them for a proposal for additional landscaping including huge boulders to be sure that this doesn't happen again. Exleys wanted $50 to even come to my door!!! Insult was added to injury, and I will find another landscaper who actually wants my business without charging upfront for the pleasure of meeting them. UNBELIEVABLE! Way to blow an opportunity to get a whole lot of work, and they had ZERO phone manners or compassion for the situation. Mr. Exley Sr. actually argued with me when I protested the charge!!

As far as I know it's a really good place and landscaping company. They've been in business a long time. I know where they are located, I'm actually from that area. And a couple of my friends went to school with the owner. I just have never used their services personally. Hope that helps. Take care..

I recently purchased 10 cubic yard of black mulch from Exley's. Delivery was scheduled for a Tuesday, which came and went with neither the delivery nor a phonecall explaining why the delivery had been missed. Fortunately, I got a phonecall the following morning explaining that the mulch would be delivered that day (Wednesday), instead.
I got home from work later that night, grabbed the pitchfork and wheelbarrow, and set to spreading the mulch. Within the first 3 scoops, I knew there was a problem.....the mulch was full of all sorts of GARBAGE. We're talking pieces of metal wire, plastic bags, plastic flashing, nails, pieces of kitchen countertop (yes...countertop), soldering wire (hopefully the lead-free type?), some sort of bizarre bright blue tubing, electrical wire, fiberboard sheathing, and other assorted finger-sized pieces of plastic.
After spending the next few days debating what to do, I finally called Exley's to see what they could do to fix this. The woman who answered the phone took my information and promised to have one of the owners call me. A day came and went without a phonecall. I called again and left a voicemail reiterating my problem and again asking for a phonecall back. Then a third voicemail the following day. I still have not heard back.
After 4 days of waiting, I am left to presume that Exley's will not be returning my phonecalls, and that they are OK with having charged me $300+ to deliver 10 cubic yards of painted demolition debris into my driveway.
My neighborhood (Lucroft Farms) is all of 1000yds down the road from this place, and I will be sure to pass my experiences along to every neighbor I come across so that they can be spared the frustration of dealing with such a underhanded, thieving company.
Shame on you, Exley's. -
Paid for and tagged a weeping willow tree back in May. When we scheduled to have it picked up and installed four months later we were told they no longer had the tree. All 6 of the trees that were there in May had died shortly after we paid for ours. No one bothered to call and let us know for four months. We got our money back but find this lack of customer service unacceptable.

Great place for landscaping needs. After spending half a day going from one garden center to another, Exley's was able to provide the items and expertise we needed to get us going in the right direction. Bob Exley looked at the photos of our home and put together a design for plants and srubs and did a layout right in their parking lot to show us what it would look like. He also gave great pointers and advice on how to plant and to care for our new greenery. The cost was less than what we expected, which is always a plus.

I would give no stars if I could Paid my deposit in April and they didn’t show up till June That was after 3 phone calls, no return calls from them however so I finally had to go in the office angry Then they finally came out three days later then they said Some work was okay but there was dirt all over the stones they put around my pool One windy day and all the dirt would have went in the pool My husband called and the worker said “ Oh yea the rocks are dirty”” What reputable company would leave a job looking so awful They finally came out a week later and once again did an okay job by just washing the rocks half heartedly. I would never use this company again Just too stressful

Really problematic service. We tagged fout trees, thought we were getting them 40% off according to one owner, the other owner decided it was only 30% off, was supposed to call to discuss the pricing. Never did, one tree disappeared. Edit to add: a week later, we went back, he said 50% off but said he would check something first, never did, now we’ve got to chase him down yet again to finish the deal.
It’s a very painful process. Nice trees though. -
We have used Exley's for at least one new project every year for the last 5 years. Top quality work every single time. They always get back to us right away, and we have never had any issues. We even had a tree die about a year after one of the projects, and they came and replaced it within days. I feel like there are very few companies that treat their customers the way Exley's does.

Used them for tagging & purchasing Xmas trees a few years in a row. Each year things seem to slip further downhill. Tree selection seems smaller each year. Office staff never friendly on the phone. They hand you misleading information when you pay for your tree, then when you call they tell you something different. When you go pickup your tagged tree the location you actually go is always wrong, no matter what you're told on the phone.
We used them bc they are very close by. In the future we will be going to other farms for our Xmas trees and hope we get better service. I can no longer recommend this tree farm to anyone. -
EDIT: Nearly all the trees have died. They provided no assistance when asked for help. $12K down the drain.
Great company and will use them again in the future. We had them fix some mistakes made by our previous landscaper, add all new shrubbery and up lighting to the front of our home, and plant trees in our backyard. They were timely, efficient and the quality of work is excellent. Prices were very reasonable, and far below one of their competitors we received an estimate from. Highly recommended. -
Outstanding plant selection! Mr Exley did a great job with helping design and choose plants for different locations based off light requirements and keeping an aesthetically pleasing long term solution to my landscape! 10/10 recommend this business. Top quality plants, top quality service and a real family feel.

Made the short 25 minute drive from Philly to this delightful tree farm. Staff was extremely friendly and eager to help. They had a large selection of quality Christmas trees at a reasonable price and a much higher quality product than what I’ve purchased from tree lots in the city in years past. The trees are neatly organized, unwrapped, and standing vertically, making it easy to make a selection. My tree was wrapped and well tied to my vehicle for the ride back. They also have Santa, hay rides, and more on the weekends. They’re open during the week too unlike many tree farms if you want to avoid the crowds. Will be back next year for sure!
