I chose Michael’s Landscaping Design To replace my paver walkway because Mike, the owner, was very professional, courteous, and had a polished presentation regarding the landscaping services he could provide. He also sent me the contract as soon as I asked for it. He answered all my questions and seemed very flexible. When he and his crew showed up to do the job they were neat with their materials on my property and worked diligently to get the job done. Mike and his crew were on time and did a beautiful job in about 6 hours. I would definitely recommend Mike and his crew to my friends and family.

We’ve had several homes, and have interacted with dozens and dozens of contractors and landscapers along the way. These folks are in the top 1% of the top 1%. Michael’s work on our daughter’s property in Ewing, including his recommendations (all spot on) was simply extraordinary. So was the experience that our daughter and son-in-law had working with him and his team… including the timeliness and efficiency of their work. All in all, 5 stars!

We j ust had our 14 by 15 foot patio installed and we love it! Michael called us back promptly, set up an appointment, came out, offered his opinion regarding options, and gave an estimate that we found to reasonable. I was going to call multiple individuals but I thought the price was fair and pleased with the reviews. Michael explained the need for necesarry modifications. The work was completed quickly, his staff was professional, and we are very pleased with the results! I was considering getting multiple estimates but found it wasn't necessary after reading the reviews. Fortunately there was nice weather this weekend and we got to enjoy the space!

Michael and his crew did an outstanding job on our patio. His crew removed our old uneven sinking patio and steps. The crew rebuilt our patio and steps using some of our existing pavers, which saved money. Mike addressed drainage issues on our property. Regrading areas and running gutters underground to a catch basin, topping it all off with beautiful bluegrass sod, and even edged around the existing trees near the patio. Mike and crew are the best in the business and have met and exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be using Michael’s landscape design for future projects. Looking forward to hanging out on our new patio.

I call the owner today to get a price quote on a job. He did not even let me finish my conversation. He interrupted me and asked me for my full name address and phone number. He could not spell my last name which has 4 letters.

I informed him of my situation and then he tells me basically that he does not care as long as he gets paid. I asked him if you can give
me approximate prices. I informed him about 2 hours of work. He told me we don't charge by the hour. It would be a 1/2 day or full day. He gave me his prices of both $1800 1/2 day and $3500 full day.

I told him that is outrageous for a small job.

He told me that I am telling him how to run his business and I should be giving me the service that I want. No, I am not. What a complete jerk? Lousy businessman no consideration for customers.

Please don't use his services. He is unprofessional and only cares about fulfilling his pockets.

Mike recently completed a large ‘excavation’ project for our ~1-acre property and did a great job. Our entire lot was overgrown with pachysandra, weeds, etc. and was a job many other landscapers were too timid to tackle. Not only did Mike’s team excavate but regraded, re-seeded, and established new beds throughout the property providing welcomed design suggestions to tee up future phases for the yard we’ll be sure to work with Nike again. Mike was great to work with, great communication, punctual, and fairly priced. Thank you!

Mike and his team did a wonderful job on my patio. The guys were very professional, courteous and on time daily. My husband and I did not have to explain anything about what we wanted as the team already knew and handled everything wonderfully. It took only one week to the complete the job and it came out beautifully. The finished project far exceeded our expectations. We are extremely happy with the work and will definitely use Mike and his team again for future work. He is so worth the wait!!!

Michael's landscaping took my broken down patio and turned it into a place I want to spend my spare time relaxing! The owner operator showed up to my house and took as much time as I wanted to make sure he could build a patio for me that was exactly what I wanted. He is a man who prides himself in putting out the best quality work in the business. And he did exactly that with my finished product. His prices are the best: I didn't even have to shop for a better price as common sense told me this was fair. The price was below what I expected. Extremely happy with everything I paid for especially the respect I got from the door up until the finished product.

A big thank you to Mike and his team for doing such a great job redoing my paver patio, a massive yard clean out and sod installation. They weeded and trimmed all of the remaining landscaping and even planted a beautiful new hydrangea for me. It was a multi day project with five to six crew members each day. The team showed up on time and put full days in. Mike was on site everyday to ensure that everything was running smoothly. They cleaned up after themselves and treated my property with a lot of respect which was so appreciated. I even had them do some additional landscaping at another property for me. I would definitely recommend Mike and his team to anyone looking to do a similar project. I found the company’s pricing fair and their communication throughout the process exceptional.

Mike was always available via phone when needed. At the consultation, Mike brought great vision on what our patio extension could look like and offered ideas we had not thought of. Hired Michael's to pick up a 20 year old paver patio, level it and put it back down. They also ran my down spouts underground and away from the house. They did awesome job, they were fast and professional. I thought the price was more then fair! Definitely recommend them and I would use them again.

We hired Michael's Landscape Design for a grading, drainage and patio project after our pool was installed. Working with Michael was an absolute pleasure. He was professional, responsive, and happy to answer our many questions. The crew was hard-working, friendly, and the entire team did a fantastic job. Our yard always had standing water after rain, so we were very concerned about drainage with the clay soil in Cherry Hill after we put in a pool. Michael was very experienced in this area and proposed a great solution which has been working incredibly well even during and after storms where we have inches of heavy rain. The difficulty of this project was compounded by the fact that our pool contractor didn't follow the engineer's plan and the pool was placed almost a foot higher than it was supposed to be. So not only did Michael have to solve the additional drainage issues that resulted from that and prevent water from flowing right into our home, he needed to do so in a way that didn't make our yard look like a bizarre sloped mess. He came up with a solution that works incredibly well and also looks great. Our new patio is beautiful, the yard no longer has any standing water, and we couldn't be happier with the finished product. We highly recommend Michael and his team.

I've been at my current residence for over 30 years, and have dealt with a myriad of contractors. Dealing with Michael and his employees, was by far the most pleasant, professional, and results orientated experience I have ever had. The quality of the work was excellent, price points were fair, communication with the crew was not problematic at all. You got the feeling that they really cared about the project. No small detail was left undone. Massive square footage of pavers were taken out and reset, with a totally new border installed. The driveway, walkway and fire pit area look better than they did when they were originally installed!! Plus the integrity of the work is superior. The crew put just as much effort into the cleanup process as they did during the project!!! My wife loved that. Michael is accessible, amenable and was on the job site every day. I would not hesitate to recommend Michael and his crew for any job within his scope. Once again the best experience I've ever had. Mike, THANKS!!!!
