Francis W came yesterday to evaluate the frozen pipes in my crawlspace. He was prompt, courteous, and clearly experienced. Crawlspaces aren’t the easiest areas to work in, but he took the time to carefully inspect the pipes and document what he found. He walked me through the current condition of the piping, discussed potential concerns, and provided realistic recommendations without trying to upsell services. I especially appreciated how clearly he explained things in plain language. It made the whole process much less stressful.

I enjoy the experience. Installers were friendly . They cleaned up after themselves too! They completely remove the old boiler and installed the new unit in 1 day.

I’m 44 and my wife and I are caring for my 86 yr-old bed-bound father in NJ but we live/work about 40 mins away. Recently, his neighbors called us about water pooling outside of the front of his home as well as the sump pump seemingly pushing water out to the street. It is currently January and cold so some of the water was also icing.
By the time I got to the home to check everything it was clear that no water was inside the basement (Thank God for good seals, French Drain and the sump pump!), but I could hear water running outside the foundation wall (front yard).
I called my Dad’s local plumber who referred us to Service Professionals to handle this type of work precisely.
By the time I had finished explaining the emergency to the Service Professionals rep. over the phone, we hadn’t even hung-up yet and a Service Pro. dispatch agent was already calling me on the other line to let me know that they would be there in 30 minutes — amazing!
When I arrived at the house the service rep., Joaquin, was already there waiting for me. He was extremely professional: friendly, patient, comprehensive — he assessed the issue and confirmed a pipe break from the main water supply outside our home to the street. He also inspected the sump pump and basement connections to the main water supply. He explained everything perfectly and answered my every question.
We met on a fair estimate and I gave a deposit knowing that their team would have a backhoe and workers there the very next day at 8AM.
The next day the crew arrived on-time and finished the job 3:30/4PM. They never once disturbed my Dad. I made remaining payment and they sent me the completed invoice along with incredibly detailed step-by-step photos (will include as many as possible in this post).
They did all of the right things:
- They submitted necessary emergency permitting with the town on our behalf,
- Used copper wire (serving as the house’s ground), insulation and sand at 4ft deep (in accordance with NJ law),
- Sealed outside and inside of where the pipe runs into the house and connected it to the meter, replacing the old knob on the “shut-off valve” in the process for a modern handle,
- Let me know that the water meter now has a small drip — and that I’ll need to call the utility (American Water) directly to fix that as the plumber is not allowed to touch/fix the meter by NJ law,
- Back outside, where they had to break cement sidewalk in order to access the town water pipe, they replaced the cement with stone gravel / tar (a good temporary fix until we cement),
- When I asked one of the workers (who called me at the end of the job) if there was any other “maintenance or upkeep” regarding this repair, he informed me that he had already taken the time to do what he would have told me/homeowner to do (He let the water run in the basement sink to make sure all air/suit was flushed-out and water was running smoothly) — fantastic!,
- Aside from Joaquin meeting with me at the house to walk-thru the emergency assessment, they completed the entire job without my needing to be there at all!
On behalf of myself, my family, (and my Dad’s neighbors!!), I would like to express how truly impressed and grateful we all are for the great job performed by Service Professionals. I highly recommend this company for residential plumbing — and in this instance emergency water main replacement. Truly a top-notch organization. Thank you!!

We had lost our heat on one of the coldest days. I called service professionals and they responded quickly and sent Anthony L. To do the repair. He was professional, knowledgeable and courteous fixing our heating problem quickly and efficiently. It was a simple repair and I would highly recommend their services.

Joe came out in freezing cold temperatures with snow on the ground. He was professional and knowledgeable. Not only was he able to get us up and running again, he answered ALL of our questions with detail and humility. Customer service was delightful and the job was completed rather timely.

Rich worked with to make sure that smoke/CO detectors were installed conforming to our local codes and that this was done to meet a target short deadline. His work looks good and he cleaned up after himself. He is courteous and polite. Our dog likes him, too.

Juan is the man! We have a 29 year old furnace in the house we recently moved into and the blower motor died on the Sunday before the blizzard we just had. Juan and Service Professionals worked diligently to find a replacement part that would work for something this out of date, and made sure it got installed asap. Much appreciated, excellent service and work ethic!

The service technicians who came to my home were extremely professional and well-presented. The main technician, Paul, was especially kind and very knowledgeable. He took the time to clearly explain the issue with our breaker in a way that was easy to understand.
Their professionalism and positive energy immediately put me at ease, and I felt confident considering the services they offer. Based on this experience, I would absolutely recommend them.

Johnny N did an outstanding job! From the moment he arrived, he was friendly, professional, and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. He took the time to explain the problem, walked me through the repair, and made sure everything was working perfectly before he left. It’s rare to find someone so trustworthy and dependable. I really appreciate his honesty, quick work, and attention to detail. I’ll definitely be calling Johnny again for any future plumbing needs—highly recommend!

Kevin came out late at night after we had to turn off the whole houses water due to a burst pipe. He was able to figure out the issue quickly, determine the area of need, and was able to fix it right away. He even found the reason that caused the problem in the first place, gave short term recommendations and long term solutions. We were worried at first that we wouldn’t reach a real person when we first called and got an AI answering service, but Kevin called back quickly and definitely saved the night! Very happy to get our pipes fixed and water back on.

Joe was great. He got here quickly, on the same day that we called. Assessed the situation correctly, realized that he needed more equipment and help and set us up for the next crew to come in the next day.

Rich and Chris did a great job explaining the problem with out sewer pipes and septic system. The necessary repair proposals was much larger than we would have liked but they they explained the issue and solution and made us comfortable.

They came back the next day with Ronny to do the repairs. They kept us apprised their progresses, they were polite, courteous and not intrusive (other than cutting through the foundation to install the new pipe). I highly recommend these professionals.

I recently worked with Tim from Service Professionals, and I was impressed with how knowledgeable, professional, and personable he was. Not only did he effortlessly replace an aging toilet in our master bathroom, but he also gave us advice on how to deal with water damage in our home. Tim even met my kids, both of whom thought he was great! Because of the excellent first impression Tim made on behalf of Service Professionals, we will call them again for our future plumbing and HVAC needs.

Very nice company. They do yearly maintenance on my central heater. My unit runs smoothly and efficient. Technican named Chris R. took the time to answer all my questions. Very professional company. I highly recommend to anyone.

Victor was extremely professional and knowledgeable! He explained the issue with the furnace and gave 3 options for solutions. I picked the one that I felt most comfortable with and he began the process right away. He also put covers over his shoes so he wouldn't track in mud or snow. That may seem like a small act, but I really appreciated it. Thank you, Victor!

Kevin was on time, polite, cared about my home and was respectful of my budget. I truly appreciate his service and our interaction. He shared helpful tips and he was very knowledgeable about plumbing. I would highly recommend him and his company.

Got a household water filtration system installed plus replaced a shower head. Marcus and Kel handled the installation. Great working with them. Knowledgeable and professional. Completed installation ahead of schedule and very thorough describing what and how to perform future maintenance.

He was extremely kind and professional throughout the visit, and I appreciated his demeanor. However, he performed a diagnostic test before checking all the pipes for potential frozen areas. Had he inspected the pipes first, he likely would have identified the frozen section right away and saved us more than $450. After the diagnostic, he ended up borrowing our hair dryer to thaw the exact spot that needed attention. While the issue was ultimately resolved, the order of steps taken made the service more costly than it needed to be.

There’s not ONE master electrician at this company..

Despite there bad reviews I opted to give them a try… a tech came older guy who tried to sell me things when all I wanted was a simple ceiling fan installed in our garage. Paid WAY too much money for the install and when I came out to see the finished work this is what I found. See photos attached.

Only a matter of time before work like this sets fire to someone’s house.

After I got in touch with the manager turns out he didn’t know anything about electrical work with no prior experience & told me in other words I wasn’t OWED a refund. DO NOT WASTE YOURE MONEY HERE

Mr Rodriguez customer service was exuberant. He should be on ur candidate list for a promotion with his knowledge and expertise. His intern Joshua was very attentive and knowledgeable as well. Job well done Service Professional.
