Incredible job! Adrian was a miracle worker helping with our ancient stove. He helped us find a nearly impossible part and fixed it in a flash. We are super grateful.

We have a 25-year-old, 48-inch dual fuel Viking range and oven, and recently ran into an issue with the self-clean function on the smaller oven. It produced a burning smell and smoke—as if something like paper had caught fire inside. Knowing this wasn’t a simple fix, we called Handler, hoping for an expert technician who could get to the bottom of it.

Enter Sam. After a careful and methodical inspection (including dismantling much of the range), he found the culprit: a mouse—or maybe a whole family of them—had been snacking on nuts inside the walls of our oven. The leftover shells had scattered throughout the interior and ignited during the cleaning cycle.

Sam was incredibly patient while I cleaned the removed panels and vacuumed out the mess. Thanks to his help and some serious elbow grease, our Viking now looks and functions like new. Though we always kept the exterior clean, we never realized how much damage field mice could do behind the scenes. We’ve since sealed off any potential entry points around pipes and walls, and fingers crossed—we’ll have this range for many more years.

One standout part of the service was how Sam moved the massive range with ease using an Air Lifter. This clever tool creates a cushion of air under the appliance, letting it "float" just above the floor—like a mini hovercraft! It protected both our floors and the oven, making it much easier to access the back for repairs and cleaning.

Sam even waited while I did a deep clean and pitched in with tools to help reach tough spots. We’re so grateful to Handler for their expertise and care. We feel safer now knowing we tackled the source of the smoke and can keep enjoying this well-built appliance.
