We've had two great experiences working with John, for a patio and landscaping. We needed a vision but also had random ideas, and he was able to balance the two to incorporate what we wanted and what we didn't even know we wanted into something we love. I have used Oak & Grove several times for hardscaping projects in my front and backyards. The projects came out great and we've subsequently used them for landscaping lighting, which they do a great job with. Highly recommend.

We hired Oak & Grove Design to design and implement a new patio for outdoor living. It is now my favorite part of my home! John listened to our goals and executed an incredible space for us. From the lighting to the plantings, it's elevated and perfectly flows with our home's architecture. Now the only problem is I want to do more projects with them ;)

Our first experience working with John and his team at Oak & Grove was two years, redoing an outdoor patio space with bluestone and building out a new deck. The results were fantastic, both functionally and aesthetically; it changed how we used the outdoor space at our house and looks spectacular.

We were so happy that we called John again this summer to do our front walk and porch, again with fantastic results. John's advice throughout both projects was insightful, prompting us with creative ideas and helping us to make great decisions. His teams delivered on time and were deeply focused on quality, and we couldn't be more pleased with the results.

John and the Oak & Grove team have done a great job with our landscaping projects. John is responsive, gives transaparant pricing, provides great ideas and options and delivers high-quality results. He rebuilt our back patio with landscaping (which we love and use pretty much every day) and did additional work on our front landscaping and steps/landing. Both projects turned out better than we hoped!

Working with John and his team was a great experience. We interviewed a few companies to redo our backyard and knew right away we wanted to work with him. He understood the design and look we were going for and executed it perfectly. After the backyard was done, his wife, Melissa decorated it which really made it complete. They are both very easy to work with, listen to what you want, and have an excellent sense of style and taste. I have recommended John to numerous friends and will continue to refer him to anyone who is looking to get work done. We get so many compliments on our backyard and couldn’t be happier.

Working with John was a great experience! We had just renovated our home (which included tearing out all existing landscape) and were starting with from scratch. John was prompt and very knowledgeable and I loved his ideas. So much that I trusted him to just take the project and go with what he thought would be best to make our home shine! He was also very helpful in choosing products for our walkway that would keep us within our budget. I originally wanted blue stone, but it was way over our budget and John suggested beautiful pavers that provided a similar look! I really appreciated that! The Oak & Grove team was on-time, professional, and did an amazing job!

John and his team did a terrific job on our backyard. We added a fire pit and outdoor kitchen with bar seating. The team was always on time and made sure the job was finished on time. John visited our house regularly to keep us updated on progress. In my experience, communication is very important with any home improvement project. John always responded quickly and answered any questions we had before the work started, during the construction and since the job was completed. He is a true professional. I highly recommend him.

Had John and his crew come by and install a new patio w gas fire pit. Let me say, he and the crew were amazing and fast. Got a wonderful deal (end of season) but his team showed up literally the next day and were consistent and fast. Kudos to them for being professional, very capable, and for being careful with both the property and moving my gas grill out of the way.

They installed the new patio right when it started to get cold so haven't had a chance to enjoy it, but looking forward to it!

Everyone who comes over is amazed by the space and comments about how it feels like they’re in a Tuscan garden, exactly the look I was going for! Had an amazing experience during the last big snow storm! Just when all hope was lost and stuck in 2 feet of snow, John came to the rescue and plowed all the snow out of my property! Life saver!

A few months later we knew we needed to address our driveway which needed repair and without hesitation knew John was the right one to do it. He assessed the job, delivered a detailed proposal, and completed our job within the timeline he committed to. John and his entire team are professional, reliable and first class. We had our patio and fire pit done back in 2020 and had a fantastic experience with Oak and Grove. John and his team were extremely responsive to our calls and questions and the work was done on time. It's been three years and the patio still looks great and it gets a ton of use. A number of our friends have used Oak and Grove since and they've all been super happy as well!
