It could be challenging to choose a company when your heating and air conditioning needs to be replaced. Davidson Heating was recommended to me by friends. It’s the best recommendation I’ve ever had…. I thought I just needed to replace my air conditioner but my 40 year old heating system had to be replaced too. This is a family owned business and it’s located in Whippany. They gave me a fair price and the team that installed the system is first rate…. To say I highly recommend Rich and his team is an understatement.

Excellent service! We called on a Saturday thinking we would hear back on Monday, and the tech called us Sunday, came out, and fixed our problem. We can't say enough about what great service Davidson provides.

Check them out for sure! I called with a potential emergency issue. Joe came out next day and ran the diagnostics gave me some helpful tips for the future and what could have caused the issue.

This is exactly the kind of company that deserves your money and you wish that everyone could be like. They came to my house the same day that I reached out to them. They worked with me to get my system working until finally we determined that the whole thing needed to be replaced. They were incredibly responsive, transparent, helpful and professional. Honestly, they were the first HVAC company that I’ve tried to work with that actually made me feel like they gave a crap about my issue and that they wanted to help me. Everyone else I have dealt with would come by and give me a “damn that sucks, what can ya do” attitude but these guys came trying to help, and I felt that from every person from the company that I had the chance to interact with.

As for the actual work that they did, it looks incredibly professional and clean. This is also the first time I have ever been able to come home and think “oh wow, it’s pretty cold in here, let me raise the temperature”. We’ve never been able to hang out in the living room comfortably because it was too warm on hot summer days, but we don’t have that problem anymore.

I can tell you from experience that you get what you pay for when it comes to home services, and these guys are worth every penny. I look forward to working with them again in the future for maintaining our system and keeping my family comfortable in our home.

I highly recommend Davidson Heating and Cooling. My hot water heater started leaking water. I called them and their tech came over the same day to figure out what was needed. They installed a new hot water heater, hauled away the old one, and left the area spotless. The water heater has been running great. Their prices are definitely reasonable.

Davidson was fantastic, expedient, and timely. Booking was easy, they showed up on time, and followed through. Although another issue happened after the first visit, they booked a follow-up immediately to investigate the issue and to resolve the problems permanently. Great company and great folks. Will definitely book again for annual maintenance.

Joe from Davidson Heating & Cooling is amazing. He quickly diagnosed the issue with my whole-house humidifier and identified the control panel as the root cause. His troubleshooting was efficient and very professional.

After that, he helped replace the manual controller, and now the system is running perfectly. We couldn’t be happier with the result.

Responded on time and handled the replacement of the pc board which was expensive at $1,000 for a $200 board. Sold us a maintenance contract which reduced the price a bit and gives us piece of mind for a year

I had maintenance on my generator. The technician was very thorough and explained exactly what he did. I was very pleased with the time he took to perform the maintenance and his explanation.
