A Plus Sustainable Roofing did a great job inspecting, patching, and coating my spray foam roof.

I spoke with Dave and Daniel throughout the process and had many questions about the state of my roof and the best way to care for it. I didn't feel confident in the longevity of the prior spray foam+gravel system, and I also did not want to rip it all off. Dave answered all of my questions, gave an assessment of the health of my roof, and presented a variety of options for silicone coatings to address my concerns (either coating on typical points of failure, or on larger portions of my roof, or the full roof). Ultimately I felt the warranty terms by A Plus Sustainable Roofing Coatings were exceptionally good and I decided to go with a full coating of my roof to future-proof as best as possible.

On my ~2700 sqft roof, the full installation took 4 days of work in total. This included 2 days of prep (including removing the gravel off my roof, power washing, priming, and patching spray foam blisters), 1 day of silicone coating application, and 1 final day (really a few hours) of touch-ups. There were a couple of items littered by the work crew but generally they were very clean and washed the surrounding work areas before leaving at the end of the day. I hopped on my roof several times to take a look at the job and noticed some bubbling in the silicone which I asked about and appears to be fairly normal for spray foam roofs, and afterwards was quickly taken care of during touch-ups.

At the end of the day I'm very happy with A Plus Sustainable Roofing Coatings' responsiveness and with the quality of their work, their product, and their warranty. I'm confident that this new roof will last a very long time!

A Plus installed a new silicone coating on our roof in late December. We couldn't be happier with our experience with them. Jim and Joe came out to assess our job and patiently explained the product and process in great detail (it's a multi-step, multi-day process). We never felt talked down to or that we were being taken advantage of (we are two women, and people who come do try this on us). Joe communicated well and kept us updated on what was going to happen and when, and then they did what they said they would. The team that installed the roof seemed competent and were polite. This company specialises in silicone roof coatings for various types of roof - it's all they do, and their expertise shows. They even knew about specific HOA requirements for our neighbourhood. They offer great follow-up service and warranties: a free annual inspection for 10 years; a 20-year warranty on the labour and a 50 year warranty on the materials (as another review comments, this is uncommon). Their goal is to never have to redo a home's roof (in the sense that they want the roof to be that good), and I've heard from others who have dealt with them that they are very responsive if any problems come up. We felt they gave us a good price. We contacted Joe based on the recommendation of a friend who had them do her roof recently (and was also very happy with them, after having looked for a competent, honest, affordable roofer for several years, she said). SUMMARISING - A+ are specialists who use a high-quality product and provide high-quality service; they are competent, fair, communicate well, and are well-priced. The warranty is transferable, for a reasonable fee. We can't say enough positive things about this company.

Last year A Plus completed an entire roof coating system for us in Santa Fe. Their cleaning, preparation, and priming process was excellent and can see how their system meets or exceeds manufacturers specifications. Now after nearly a year, I am reporting that the installation has help up fabulously. This summer we had serious down pours and our roof performed excellent. Our first year maintenance inspection warranty work was scheduled, performed rapidly and additional coatings applied to high use and maintenance areas without any failed or adherance issues from installation. Their cost is competitive or more cost effective especially with the great prep work and great warranty. If you are considering other companies don't be fooled, no one knows and understands their product and application better.

A Plus roofing installed a new silicone roof on our house in September of 2024. Excellent work and service!

Our prior roof was silicone and was not installed correctly. It was peeling and ravens were throwing chunks of it off onto our driveway.

A Plus' silicone product has bird and animal deterrent built into their silicone. Since installation, it's working thus far and no birds on our roof.

Daniel and his crew installed the roof. Super nice folks and very respectful of us and our property. They took the time to insure it was properly installed and sealed.

We also like the 10 year warranty/inspection that comes with this roof. That's unheard of with roofing companies. No charge for that either. It gives you comfort to know they will come every year, inspect it and make necessary repairs if it's even necessary.

A+ Sustainable Roof Coatings gets 5 stars. The entire team was so professional and a real pleasure to work with from start to finish. They’re trustworthy (which counts for a lot, especially when that’s not easy to find) and they’re efficient. One real plus in choosing them is that they beat a popular competitor by miles on the warranty! A+ has a 50-year warranty on material, and a 20-year on labor, and will come out and do annual checks and any maintenance needed for 10 years. Other companies use an inferior “silicone” roof that’s really a blend of silicone and acrylic, while A+ uses 100% pure silicone which far outlasts the blend (hence more than double the years of warranty). A+ only does silicone roofs so they really know their stuff. They also go the extra mile (making good on their saying “We like to leave the place better than we found it"). Not only did they do a great job with the roof (including cutting open a small section that had been leaking to make sure it didn’t need to be torn out, since their probe found a little moisture) but they power washed the entire outside of the house, as well as the brick patio that had turned black under a Juniper tree. It’s like having a new roof and a new patio at once, and spiffed-up stucco that wasn’t noticeably dirty until it was clean!

While there’s no more leaking garage roof, the best outcome of getting the white silicone roof (vs tan, which doesn’t have the same cooling effect) is that the house is at least 3º- 4º cooler in the summer than it used to be. While that may not sound like a lot at first, it turns out to make the difference between being hot inside when it’s 94º outside, and being comfortable, using only ceiling fans and exterior shades over the big windows of a passive solar home. (The shades lowered the indoor temp by about 10º, which wasn’t quite enough, so it’s now at least 13º-14º cooler inside than before both).

It’s heartening to know that without using electricity for some kind of air conditioning, there are these things we can do to significantly cool our homes on this warming planet, and it’s a wonder, and a travesty really, that they’re not the norm yet. If you want to do yourself and the planet a favor by getting a white silicone coated roof, A+ deserves their name. Get them out for an estimate and compare them to other companies, and you’ll see their integrity, experience and professionalism for yourself!

A+ Sustainable Roofing Coatings told me in detail what to expect before the contract was signed and then provided exactly that. The crew applied a complete coating on my flat roof including above-surface pipes, vents and skylights. They also repaired a few structural faults including eliminating rainwater ponding depressions. And when they finished, all the residue was cleaned up. I'd give them an A+.

Highly professional group, I would recommend Dave and his team to anyone that is considering any kind of work or replacement on a flat roof. The finished product is much more durable and long lasting than other options and far better suited for the high desert climate. The team is very responsive, left the job site perfectly clean and their rates are highly competitive.

This company is great. It did an excellent job installing our roof (with a nice long guarantee) in 2020, and every year since a company rep has come on out and spent time on the roof to fix a few minor issues that arise. Would be glad to recommend A Plus.

My roof was in bad shape and needed repair for the last 5 years. Dave and his crew are the only people in town I trust! Five different roofers, with high ratings, exaggerated their estimates, or adjusted their estimates to almost double when they actually walked the roof. Dave and his crew were very honest and reasonable.
The crew always arrived on time, were very polite, hard working, and they clean up after themselves so well they left my yard cleaner than when they started. I was very impressed and relieved at their professionalism.
My roof was finished in early November, and I waited until the first big rain storm and snow storm to see how the roof would hold up. It was amazing! No leaks, no stains, and my roof doesn't turn into a giant swimming pool...the water just came pouring off my roof like it use to.
My wife and I were so happy we were crying tears of joy! Our roof has been made better than the day we bought it! An added benefit to their silicone solution we found is it adds a serious layer of insulation keeping the house cool during hot days and retaining the heat on cold days.

I can't express just how much I would recommend A+ Sustainable Roofing.
I had to repair my spray foam roof and I needed it to be fixed ASAP, as my ceiling was leaking badly. I didn't know who to call since the company that spray foamed my roof went out of business. I started to look online and got a strong pull to call A+. So I decided to call and both Dave and Joseph were so attentive and responsive to my needs. Next thing I know, they came out the day I called them and explained in detail what needed to be done. We scheduled the repair and within days my roof was fixed! We had our usual monsoon rains since...and no leaks!! The entire experience was the best decision EVER! Communication was phenomenal at every phase of the repair. Joseph, Dave, Rome, Daniel, and the entire crew were AMAZING! So knowledgeable, courteous and professional. I am so happy that I now have an awesome company to go to if any other roofing issues arise. They got it right when they named the company...A+!

A+ did a fantastic job. From the initial estimate through the whole process they were efficient, knowledgeable and easy to work with. I had all of my vent drops sealed by Doyle roof master earlier this summer. One of my vents was still experiencing rain leaking through the vent. I call Doyle to have this looked at and was scheduled for repair. I was called later to reschedule and a tech came out on Friday 10/11/2024. He said hello and let me know what we was there to do but did not let me know when he left or what he found. I have tried to make contact with the business several times this week. Today I called and was meet by a very unprofessional Teresa Doyle. She divulged personal information about the employee in question and then tried to use the employee’s personal trauma as an excuse for the business’s lack of professional responsibility. As a person who has experienced loss and whose employer has divulged personal information to strangers I frown on this behavior. I have been a good customer and expect that I am treated as such. I called after the text messages below to try to reschedule and that is when I was met with the very unprofessional owner.
