These guys are in no rush but at least they have what I need most of the time. Greatly prefer other supply houses when possible.

Didn't have stock in the item I was looking for, I asked for assistance finding what I was looking for and associate put next to no effort into finding it. I kind of expect them to tell me I can drive halfway across the country to find one if it gets me what I need... But all I got was no we don't have it.

I was unloaded in as timely a way as possible. The 1st delivery went smoothly, after the morning client rush slowed down. The 2nd delivery went smooth too, once we got the paperwork snafu figured out

Border States is a really good electrical supply house. The company that I work for likes to use them for most of their material needs. I agree with them and I also appreciate their large selection of tools. I only wished that they would bring back donut Fridays.

Warning to ALL electrical contractors! This company sux at pushing paperwork through. They lost my application which took 3 months to get a response. They took my tax ID number and pushed a hit on my credit just to give me a pay as you go account. They ask how much credit on the application but there is no credit involved. Now that I have 4 jobs going on They are saying that they basically pushed a hit on my credit and asked for my tax ID number for nothing. The lady Nancy and the office never returns calls so the customer service is terrible. I would recommend setting up a new account t through Summit first because the customer service and credit account paper pushers for this company are terrible. They also told me they didn't push my credit account because I hadn't used it yet and that they needed references from other shops to push it again. If you are a new electrical contractor I recommend going with a more communicative, fast, and reliable company that doesn't discriminate on new contractors.

The people their were great. Very nice and just by watching you could tell that they were working with a purpose and not taking advantage of the hourly rate I was paying. Great job guys

Mike Frankhouse came to my house and worked out how to install a new car charge line. Three of his employees came to put in the line. All of them were courteous and informative. They had the line working in 3 hours or so, and installed a ceiling fan to boot. I’m happy with all the work, and I’ll trust Frankhouse again in the future. Thx

Phoned this company a couple of weeks ago upon a recommendation from a friend. I wanted 2 outlets installed. When making the appointment, I said the only day I was available was the day after Thanksgiving, Friday the 29th because scheduling these things is tough because of mine and my husbands work schedules!!! He said “No problem “ I was told and we scheduled a time between 8-10 am. I waited until 10:30… no word from this company. I called and left a message. Mike called back and said he did not realize the company he works for would be closed today when we scheduled . I never received a call to reschedule or any notification that no one was going to show up. What a horrible way to treat people and terrible customer service!!! Stay away!

I can’t recommend Rafael enough! He is incredibly honest, reliable, and truly takes pride in his work. He explained everything clearly, offered fair and transparent pricing, and made sure the job was done safely and correctly. It’s rare to find someone you can fully trust in your home and someone who won’t take advantage of you, but he is one of those people.

We had a great experience with True Light Electric. We first needed their help when we lost power after hours. At that time Jeremy noted that our breaker was only rated for 100 amps and really should have been 200 amps. Obviously, I got several estimates but True Light was the most polite and patient with all my questions etc (especially over a bigger company). Turns out we were really out of code , oops. The crew that came was great! They even brought a generator to keep my fridge running.
We are very happy with their work and need another electrical project and just called to arrange that. It's a relief to have a company I can trust for electrical situations in our home!

Man these guys were awesome. From pre planning to answering any questions quickly, to the actual work itself. Incredibly friendly and helpful. Would definitely hire these guys for any electrical work going forward. They upgraded the electrical panel in my new home and everything is working great.

We highly recommend! We had what we consider a pretty significant project in that we wanted an external hook up for our portable generator. Rodney was our technician. He was absolutely knowledgeable and efficient. He did as asked and then some. The company is Christian faith based. That in itself means a great deal. Lastly, we have been searching for an electric company for quite some time. Over the years we've tried a few different ones to include a couple of the bigger ones here in ABQ / Rio Rancho area and while they were ok, none of them were a good fit to be called our permanent go to electric company. Well, that was until we found True Light. Just over the top friendly, responsive, professional, and outstanding customer service. They are dedicated to ensuring our satisfaction. Their pricing was far less than the other quotes we received and...to the specs we desired.
