Electrical reviews in Albuquerque, New Mexico

This company was recommended in an online group, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Surprise #1: The owner himself picked up the phone right away when I called, and was super friendly and patient as I explained. Turns out he was on the highway, so he said his office manager would call me back shortly. Surprise #2: She called back within 5 minutes. She was also very friendly and efficient. We booked a time for them to come out and check if the doorbell in my courtyard wall could be repaired or replaced. A handyman had said it would require extensive rewiring to fix it as it was an old bell with old wires in an old wall. Surprise #3: The two young electricians who came out fixed it in 10 minutes. They only charged me for the basic call and that was that. This is our go-to electrician company from now on. Wonderful local business.

These guys were great! They were brought in by a contractor who simply didn't understand what they were doing. Rick came out and quickly identified the solution. He was stuck in a waiting game as I had to wait on the main contractor for a few things. But when I was ready, Rick and Auram showed up with a full team and got the work done. They ran into a few challenges, but stayed until I was satisfied. They were extremely professional and left the place cleaner than they found it. I hope that I don't need an electrician any time soon, but I would definitely use them again and will recommend them. I'm not easy to impress, and they did just that.

Nothing but great things to say about Watt Electric. After being stood up by two other electricians, Watt kept to their appointment times and Maddie always notified me if they were running behind. When they did the job, the gentlemen who came were polite and kept all their work areas clean. Auram wasn't on site for the actual job, but he gave the estimate, ran his team through the procedures and honored the estimate even when the guys ran into a snag during the day of the installation. I would happily work with Rick and his company again. I recommend them highly!!

I called Watt Electric to help me figure out a dryer plug that didn't have power. The issue was far from straight-forward, and another electrician had already spent 2 hours trying to figure it out and gave up. Kevin and Aroum tirelessly worked on the issue, eventually discovering that the dryer wires were disconnected in a junction box hidden behind the kitchen range. They were able to identify and fix the problem for me. Both men were professional, easy to communicate with, and considerate of my home. I'll definitely be using Watt Electric for all of my future electrical needs!

I know Frank personally and he’s a great guy!
Always very good work! -
Franks is the best. Service and quality you can't beat. They truly have a local feel.

Techs are friendly, prices are fair, the staff is nice, and the Frank guy seems a little crazy, but 10/10 would recommend.

These guys cancelled on me because the electrician’s wife went into labor (which is understandable). However, I’ve tried to reschedule and they say they’ll call me back, but never do. So now I have to find someone who is reliable who will actually communicate.

This company's worker IN A COMPANY VEHICLE almost ran my family and another family off the road early Sunday morning. I called and left a voicemail explaining the situation and that I NEEDED a call back to know that they acknowledged their employee's recklessness when they opened Monday morning. They ignored me of course and I have heard nothing from them. They have no regard for their awful drivers of employees. This was Truck no. 5 so watch out there are at least 4 others out there. Here's to hoping they go out of business so their drivers will no longer be a danger to Albqueuerque roads.

Solved same day. Slow truck. Lorenzo, Frank's tech, quickly discovered our problem was an abnormal unbalanced current from the meter. I needed to call PNM. Excellent work, very satisfied, EXCEPT for the round-up, against us, on the port-to-port trip surcharge: Due to a very big truck that only goes 65mph, a 25 minute trip (according to Google maps) took over a half hour, which bumped the port-to-port trip charge to a full hour (30 minute increments) on the clock at $85/hr, on top of the $25 fixed trip charge, on top of the actual work. REALLY? When I complained he offered a 10% senior discount (good to know about!); so we almost split the difference. Darn. And we so wanted to like these guys.

Hired Frank's as a contractor for a large electrical upgrade to my entire property. They installed a whole new 200 amp service, meter, two breaker panels, and ran power to a new workshop I added to my premises. Took a couple of calls to get scheduled (I think they're just very busy, for good reason), but Frank himself came to do the estimate. Many companies send their newest journeyman I think. He was sharp, flippant, funny, and very easy to work with. Theirs wasn't the lowest estimate but was the most accurately itemized and they struck me as highly professional.
That assessment was borne out in spades by the work they did. I found all three crew members who came to my home (Todd, Mario, and Lorenzo) to be highly knowledgeable, went above and beyond making several on-the-fly changes without additional charges, and the entire project (several thousand dollars) came in on time and slightly under the original estimate, even with a couple of unexpected but necessary additions. I'd had another company install a heat pump unit in the shop, and Frank's crew caught a couple of mistakes they had made in wiring placement so they were corrected before inspection.
Arrived when they said they would, did the work they promised to do, and charged me what I expected. Can't say that about far too many businesses these days. Five star service in all respects. Recommended. -
1st time using this company. Work was done just fine, as expected. Price was average, no problem. The electrician that showed up was very friendly and professional. What I wasn't expecting was to be charged for the time it took to gather tools, a phone call to the office before work actually started. oh, and there is a 2% extra fee if you want to pay with a credit card, which was undisclosed at the time of quote.... but it is mentioned on the invoice you get after the work is done and all you have is a credit card.
