Ken does outstanding work, is honest and reliable. Highly recommend!

Left hole in wall, visible outside of the outlet cover that was not repaired and re-plastered. Left trash/debris for me to clean up afterwards. They also arrived on site 1 hour late. I can only hope the behind the walls wiring work is up to par.

We always call Ken because he is honest and extremely knowledgable. We had a big job on some property and Ken got right on it. He knows the code and adheres to it.

The positive thing about K&J is that he will call you back promptly, However, if the work you need is anything less than conventional, he will get grumpy, only want to do the minimal, most direct solution, and treat you like you are stupid for asking about alternatives. A few years ago, he put in a light fixture in our bathroom and wired the switch so that the switch closest to the bathroom turned on the bedroom light and vice versa. When I asked him to fix it (an extremely simple fix), he basically said just live with it because he was done.
This week we needed more work done and accidentally called him again. He came over, had lame and ugly solutions, had attitude and then never called us back with an estimate.
You can do better than this guy.

Ken was thorough and made sure he understood what we wanted and that we understood what had to be done to get us what we want.
On-time, efficient and very professional. Definitely will claim fo ou next electrical work need.

I was thoroughly pleased with my experience. Ken was quick to help, kept his word, followed through, and was well-prepared. It's rare to find someone so no nonsense and efficient these days. He replaced my dryer electrical outlet and thought ahead to bring a dryer cord in case it had gotten burnt (it had). My dryer is back up and working better than ever. I would definitely recommend K & J to others.

The guys from McD-W came to my house this morning, arriving on time. They met with an unexpected problem while putting in a new outlet for a new freezer unit I just bought. My circa 1950s house has an addition--i.e., the garage was converted to be a master bedroom in the 1970s or 80s. The construction of the shared wall of this add-on room complicated the wiring job that McD-W had to do for me in my front room and kitchen area. They could have made a pig's breakfast of the job, leaving me with a serious eyesore to deal with. Instead, they found a way to make it work, which is what competent professionals do. And they kept to the original quoted price, which was most reasonable. When I came home, the only sign that they had been there was the new outlet. Otherwise the wall looked normal and the area was clean. My wife and I are very happy with the outcome. Thanks, McD-W, for your great work. You're the newest addition to my phone's speed dial.

Cannot say enough good things about McDade Woodcock! Guy came to our house very quickly and solved the problem almost immediately. He even educated me along the way about troubleshooting for the future and how to prevent the issue from occurring again. We’ll be calling them every time!
