David of Red Shovel was able trim my tree that was interfering with the power line the same day I called. His crew trimmed and cleaned up the yard as well. The work was done quickly and correctly.

Update 8/20/25: Had David M. and his crew come out for our 3rd visit. As usual, they were on time and the yard looks stunning. They pulled all weeds, took out some elm trees, trimmed my pyracantha and various other shrubs and bushes, and cleaned up my lawns. My nearby neighbors have already come by asking who did such great work, and I was happy to recommend the team at Red Shovel. Thanks again, we’ll see you next year.

Second time I’ve used Red Shovel. This time around, Aaron came by himself. He was right on time and did an immaculate job. We are so happy we found Red Shovel after being stood up by other companies repeatedly.

Hakeem, Miguel, and Jasper came over to trim a bunch of bushes in our front yard that had overgrown over the years. They did an amazing job and let me know as to why the bushes shouldn’t be trimmed too small. I’ve used Red Shovel since 2024 and have been very satisfied with their service!

Spectacular work. The thee workers, Hakeem, Miquel, and Joe, arrived on time, walked through the yard while we discussed what needed to be done, and then proceeded to work nonstop for four hours completing weed removal, trimming of 4 trees, leave removal, and lawn maintenance. Removing the weeds alone was worth it to me. They were everywhere and so numerous that I would not have had any chance of getting them under control any longer. Great job.

Want to gove a big shout out to red shovel. They did an absolutely amazing job in the front and back yard! I will recommend them to everyone i know! Trimmed all the bushes, took out old bushes also trimmed the big tree in the front of the house. Did all the weeds and trash i had i in the yard! David M. took a look around and we discussed what needed to be done. He came up with a price which was way above my budget. I told him what my budget was and we tried to cut back on some items. We negotiated and managed to meet in the middle, so I gave them the go-ahead. It was a big job (spring clean up), so he called for a few more guys. They got it done fast, thorough, and they did everything I asked for and maybe a little more just because they're nice guys. In the photos, my front walkway look like a overgrown jungle with dead stuff everywhere now it is neat and trim and I'm proud for a visitors to come. My backyard was a horrible weedy mess with stuff strewn everywhere. David M. and crew fixed everything up, got it all organized and neat. Its ready for me to start my spring and summer vegetable garden. They did a fantastic, professional job. So, I'm a very happy customer. I will be a repeat customer for sure. I will probably get the monthly service and a few other big things that I discussed with David.

They did not do my yard my nextdoor neighbor was using them and they blew all the sand leave and trash into our yard . My car was covered with sand.
They did a great job on their yard but next time do better. Was going to use them but not now.

Red Shovel lives by their promise of same day service. We purchased a home that needed extensive yard clean up. The Red Shovel team led by Caruth did an excellent job! What we thought would take at least 3 days was completed in a day and a half. Marlon and Caruth asked us what she wanted removed and trimmed back and made some great suggestions. The rest of the team: John G, David M, Hakeem, Gordon, AnFernie, Elk, Miguel, Brody, and Michael completed the job without disturbing the neighbors and the clean up was immaculate! We plan to use them for landscape design and maintenance.

This was my first experience in using this business. They hung Christmas Lights for me. Full front and back and front door garland and lights. First day was a little 'iffy' in that the timers had not been set so lights did not come on. That said and very important to note: I called the company, rather agitated, and expressed my frustration. They immediately sent a crew to correct the problem. I was impressed with the supervisor for this crew. He apologized emphatically and spent more than an hour reviewing the previous set and correcting the problem. I measure performance on more than just an initial contact. It's about the customer service provided and this, to date, has been stellar. I highly recommend and will use this company next year. Morever, I may check into their landscaping service offerings for the Spring and Summer. Good job and great follow up, Red Shovel Team!

They approached the project with so much care and attention to detail, and it showed in the final result. These men were professional and highly skilled but also friendly and respectful of our property. They worked diligently and made sure everything was perfectly tidy before they left. Fantastic crew (David, Ed, Leo, Marshall, Carson, Gordon, Pierce)! We have a huge yard that includes a steep hill, lots of overgrown weeds, pine trees, and 17 years of kids and various animals. They finished quicker than expected, were extremely thorough, and made sure that everything was taken care of. Very easy to work with and very respectful. We will definitely recommend to others, as well as continuing to use them in the future ourselves.

Gordon, Kevin, Michael and Jonathan came out to clean up my mom’s jungle in her back yard and let me just say the results were mind blowing! I wish I had before pictures but they did send me the pictures after they finished & they were amazing I’m extremely happy with the job they did. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for weed removal and yard clean ups. I want to thank all of them for their hard work, my mom was so happy with the results and how fast they got everything done. I will definitely be using their services in the future! I don't think Red Shovel needs any more reviews to prove how amazing they are, but I wanted to emphasize how great they are to work with. I have had other contractors do similar work for me, but everyone I have interacted with from Red Shovel has been kind and professional.

Edit for January 2026 - Marshall G, Ernesto, Elk and Kay did such an amazing job on our backyard landscaping. Chris D created a beautiful landscape design with us, and worked with us every step of the way. The crew was punctual, friendly and professional and they left no stone unturned (literally!). Our new walking path, trees, irrigation system and plants are so beautiful and truly make our backyard an oasis. I am always impressed with Red Shovel Landscaping!

Marshall and the team are awesome!!!! He, Seth and Sab were so punctual and professional. They left the yard completely spotless during our fall cleanup and took very good care to make sure everything looked nice. I am so impressed with Red Shovel Landscaping and will definitely continue using their services.

Tony called ahead and arrived ready to go. He’s familiar with my property, which makes everything seamless. He came in, completed the job efficiently, gave us clear watering instructions, and was on his way.

Scheduling was easy, communication was solid, and they performed remarkably. Looking forward to greener grass this year.
