This is the first time my Mom and I have used this company. Carpet cleaning done last Friday and very happy with results. The young men that were here were professional, very kind, and thorough. Great at explaining in detail what would work on our carpet for the best possible results. Thank you Akiva and Denir.

Amazing service! Did such an excellent job on two very grubby, dog hair covered sectionals. Fernando and Jonathan were excellent, friendly and explained everything as they went. The couches look great! I highly recommend and will definitely use them again!

Don’t be fooled by the 4.7 star reviews. Read the 1 star ones and you will get a better idea of the job and professionalism you’ll receive. I needed a job done and had called many places. The owner immediately mentioned a coupon which would bring my total down to a certain quote. I was expecting that price and the guys showed me the actual coupon quote was in fact higher. I chose this company because the quote was lower than the last place who also did well. I thought I would give it a try. He added extra areas not needed to charge me almost $100 more. They said they would be at my home between 12:30-3:30. I waited and they never showed. Closer to the 3:30 mark, I called for an ETA. They would not be coming. They called me to come the next day. Inconvenient, unprofessional, no communication. Seek other companies. Encanto was a good company last time I went with them.

Jacob and Victor were amazing and took extra steps on a few stains that were in the carpet. All stains are gone and my carpets look great for being 14 years old and having dogs. Thank you

The manager of this company was not clear on his quote adding a coupon upon quotes inquired with him and other companies. He yelled, didn’t respect our concerns with being charged extra after paying more than we were quoted. Cleaning areas we did not ask for under his directions. His employees were great, Antonio and Akiva just did as they were instructed without the right knowledge their boss had. They were kind and understanding of our concerns. He didn’t want to hear us speak, he’d rather threaten liens and yell without hearing us out. We felt overcharged, unheard, and mistreated for not allowing us to express our concerns. Of course we paid. We just won’t use this service again. He says he had our initial call recorded, we asked him to listen closely. The living room and hallway did not need the extra cleaning that charged us $70 above our quoted price. Just make sure you’re clear (as I thought we were after getting quotes from other companies) and beware of being overcharged.

Had the air ducts and dryer vent cleaned 5/21/25 by Jacob and Kiva. These two gentlemen were polite, knowledgeable and thorough in their work. They answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns. I would recommend this company very highly based on my experience.

Didn’t perform the work properly after being paid; dryer vents were still blocked.

Failed to show up for the follow-up appointment after I stayed home from work. Due to flight delays, I couldn’t be home for the second reschedule, and the technician didn’t ring the house next door to gain access as instructed.

When I called to schedule again, Thomas yelled the entire time, shouting he would not do the work and calling me a bad customer. I’ve had a lot of work performed by various vendors over the last few months. Thoroclean is the first poor experience I’ve had. I only wish I had read the other poor reviews first.

Devin & Antonio came to clean my carpets which unfortunately have had multiple areas where the dogs peed. It is also white carpet that is high quality but it’s been around a while before we bought the home. They were professional, courteous and worked hard. The price was reasonable and the owner or manager was very responsive. They also have the “claw” machine which does a deep clean into the pad. I highly recommend this company!

I was contacted today by the owner (Thomas) who wanted to start the process of making things right. Apparently the gentleman who came to my house was also the one who happened to answer my call—so no surprise there why it took so long to hear back. Thomas and I chatted and he asked if I would be willing to give them another go as he takes his reputation and his business very seriously. I’ve updated my review from 2 to 4 stars in the hopes that a few months from now when they return I can pop back on and give them a full 5. Thank you Thomas for your professional manners.

Details below but the key points:
*they tried to upsell immediately
*work was quick but sloppy
*behavior was a bit scammy
*left my carpets so wet that even after using my own wet vac they took a full 48 hours to dry
*still haven’t heard back from them after lodging my concerns

I can’t speak for this business as a whole, but here in Albuquerque my experience was pretty bad. The gentleman who arrived waited until he heard my dog bark to offer an upsale of the enzyme treatment for some $36. Not really a problem as I am trying to take good care of the carpet. I said I would think on it while we did the walkthrough and before we had even finished he offered to just charge me $20 instead as a “tip”. Is that standard practice. I think probably no. I say sure and he gets to work. It was all done quickly which was nice and when it came time to pay he asked if I wanted to do cash or check. It’s 2022. I expect most businesses to have swipers/square. I didn’t have correct cash on hand and what do you know he happened to have the swiper all along. He let me know the carpets would take 4-5 hours to dry. Well even after running my heater and my fans with windows open all day they weren’t dry. I took my little wet vac on dry mode and this picture is the water I got out of my stairs and one bedroom (the other two were fine). It took my carpets 48 hours to be fully dry even after my own assistance. I called to tell them how it all went down and they said they would look into it and call back. Still waiting so I guess I’ll just slap this review here and warn the rest of you.

I did not look at reviews lol I just got the coupon in the mail and said why not! I was pleasantly surprised! I called last week to set up an appointment for carpet cleaning and was able to be seen within five days, which to me is pretty quick. Person on the phone was courteous. Mikey is the person who came to clean. They told me between the times of 12:30-3:30. He called me at 12:30 ish and was there by 1! Cleaning took about an hour/hour and a half. The carpets look wonderful and I got the enzyme treatment which definitely helped with the pet smell! The total was $146. $99 with coupon, $36 for enzyme cleaner, and $10 in taxes. For two rooms I think that’s a reasonable price. Overall, Mikey was timely and respectful, would hire again! Only suggestion would be to wear shoe covers (like hairnets for shoes lol). I had another carpet company do that and I definitely appreciated that small detail. Thank you ThoroClean!
