My Experience with Zoom Bath Installation:

I requested a quote for a shower surround installation and made it clear that I didn’t want to take measurements myself. They came out, spent about 20 minutes measuring, and later provided a reasonable estimate. I agreed to proceed, and they scheduled the job a few days later.

When they arrived to do the work, they acted as if I was supposed to provide the plastic surround — something that was never discussed. I called Zoom, but they didn’t seem to remember the technician who came out and took the original measurements. Since I needed the job completed quickly to sell my unit, I met the crew at Home Depot and purchased the surround they recommended.

Due to an emergency, they couldn’t return that day. The next day, they came while I was napping. I could hear them struggling to make the surround fit. When I got up, they had already taken the back piece of the surround and left to run errands.

Later that day, I discovered they had completely removed the previous contractor’s cement board (HardieBacker) installation — which I had paid over $1,000 for — without asking for my permission. They also did not complete the trim work, which they said it’s a not part of the job. They had to return another day to finish installing the fixtures.

They later claimed the surround wasn’t designed to fit between the studs and the existing HardieBacker, but they never consulted me before removing anything. The final install still had no trim — as you can see in the photos. Then they billed me nearly double the original quote.

I paid the bill but asked if they would consider offering a discount — I received no response. To meet my appraisal deadline, I ended up purchasing plastic trim myself and completed the finishing work in about two hours. Photos 1 who they left it, 2. After I did my own trim work

Today, Zoom Drain came to install a water conditioner. Ishmael, who had previously installed toilets a couple of months ago, returned to assist his co-worker Adam with the installation. Both Ishmael and Adam did an excellent job.

I also want to give kudos to Michael in the office, who was very patient and answered all my questions.

Ismael was at my house in less than 2 hours from my first call to Zoom Drains -- that's good. He completed the job in about 70 minutes -- really good. Most impressive, the detailed explanation we received, and the deep knowledge of cast iron piping systems that Ismail displayed.

We had a stubborn clog in our kitchen sink. I tried snaking it with a 25’ snake from harbor freight, I tried plunging, chemicals etc. I even rebuilt the drain under the sink, but the issue was much further down. I called and Michael got me setup with someone to come out a few hours later. Erik came by and was able to get the obstruction cleared out within 30 minutes or so. Definitely great work and competitive pricing. Absolutely recommend these guys.

Exactly as all the other reviews. Wonderful and quick! We have been screwed over by other plumbing companies and it was refreshing to have someone in and out in 30 minutes with the problem solved. Plus the 90 day guarantee provides additional relief.

We had a slow drain on our washing machine and the technician, Ismael Davis, did an amazing job to ensure that the clog was completely eliminated. Mr. Davis was very professional, thorough, and even cleaned up the area afterwards. We would highly recommend Zoom Drain based on this experience!!

An amazing team answered at night and got us scheduled for the next day to do an estimate (Christmas Eve at that) and then came out and helped right away fix the problem right away. Couldn't say thank you enough! Ismael was very friendly and got the job done fast!.

Responsive, affordable and a 3 month warranty. We had a main line clog and I was so worried it would turn out to be a tree or broken pipe, or something worse than just something that could be snaked. They confirmed my appointment in minutes, were there in less than 2 hours, and got the clog and everything taken care of. The technician, Ismael, was exceedingly polite, was kind to my elderly dog, and explained everything as he went. GREAT experience. (Not sure I needed pictures of the clog on a personal level, but I really appreciate that the company is so transparent).

Ismael was very professional nice. Last company that came out way over changed me. I believe because I am a woman it was nice to not be taken advantage of.

I found Zoom Drain after 2 other companies were unsuccessful in clearing a clog in my sewer main line. The other companies said I would need to replace my sewer line to the street and undergo a major excavation project that would cost thousands of dollars. Also a few other companies couldn't get me on the schedule for multiple days. When i called Zoom I immediately could tell the employee on the phone was knowledgeable and he was able to get me on the schedule that day! When Ismael Davis arrived he immediately got to work assessing the situation and provided options including hydrojetting which was the first I had heard about this option. After hydrojetting the line twice and confirming the line was clear with the camera Ismael had my line to the sewer completely clear! Also he went into the crawl space and confirmed my pipe was cast iron and was in good shape and not in need of a full line replacement. Thank you Zoom and Ismael both are highly recommended!

Zoom Drain saved the day. I woke up this morning to sewage backing up in my toilet and was on the verge of tears. We were just getting ready to move out of our house. Michael at Zoom Drain assured me they’d have someone out there right away. Within an hour and a half, Trevyn came to assess the situation and cleared the blockage in no time. The price was very reasonable! Later the same day, our toilet started to back up again, so the blockage wasn’t 100% cleared. I called Michael back and he immediately sent Ismael out, arriving in less than 45 min. He fixed it right up with the hydro-jet and didn’t even charge me. My toilets are working great again. I couldn’t be more impressed. I’d highly recommend them for any plumbing needs!
