Positives
• Quick diagnosis and service: The technician, Stephen, identified the lint clog in my dryer almost immediately and cleaned it out on the spot, which restored the dryer’s performance.
• Transparent about limitations: He explained that a section of the dryer duct inside the wall was blocked with lint and that fixing it properly would require breaking into the wall – work beyond what he could do during this visit.
• Fair pricing: Because he couldn’t fully resolve the hidden duct issue, he only charged me half of the usual service fee, which I appreciated.

Negatives
• Safety oversight (ignored request): I specifically asked Stephen not to reconnect the dryer to the broken duct in the wall, since using it in that condition could pose a fire risk. He agreed, but later reattached the dryer vent to the damaged duct and plugged the dryer back in without telling us. If we hadn’t double-checked, someone in my household might have used the dryer unaware of the disconnected vent — potentially creating a serious fire hazard.
• Incomplete resolution: The underlying problem of the cut/broken dryer duct was left unaddressed. We will still need to hire another professional (and likely open up the wall) to properly fix the vent before the dryer can be used safely.

Overall Impression: While we appreciated the prompt service and fair pricing, the disregard for a critical safety request overshadowed the positives of the experience. Future customers should be aware of this issue and double-check that any safety instructions are followed. We hope the company will address such oversights going forward.

Mr. Bartley comes yearly to vacuum the inside of my dryer and give it a checkup. He is very through. He’s been coming to provide this service for several years. He has a high amount of attention to detail. I would recommend him to anyone needing dryer and washing machine maintenance and repair.

Stephen is the best repair person I have met since purchasing my home. He listened to me and was curious and was able to diagnose the problem and he explained everything to me in detail. I will be calling him and only him for all my future needs. It is rare to find someone who is knowledgeable, solution based, and takes the time to properly find solutions rather than just trying to upsell you on the biggest job possible. He also communicated very well on scheduling and even followed up a few days after the repair was finished to make sure everything was working properly.

My air conditioner was supposed to be serviced but I wasn’t finding anyone in that particular company I won’t mention to do their job and service the units. But the young man Mr. Bartley came along from a prior job when he used to work for that said co. fixed things and got my central air conditioning units up to full efficiency. Mr. Bartley is a life saver twice over. I’ll definitely recommend him if you need your air conditioner fixed. Mr. Bartley is good on fixing AC units.

I filed a claim for a dishwasher repair through my warranty. Bartley appliance came and “fixed” it only to have it stop working that same day. I was informed they would come to fix it again but after almost two weeks no one reached out. I was finally informed that they couldn’t come to fix my dishwasher and I would need to submit a new claim with the warranty company. They should have informed me right away instead of implying they could fix it without another claim. Basically, if this company is referred by your warranty company, find someone else. They do not care about customers with claims through a warranty. Seems like they just want to get paid for no work.
