Father and Son Appliance Repair is the kindest and most professional appliance repair service I've interfaced with. They instructed me over the phone on how to fix my issue free of charge. Other places I called tried to charge me as much as $250 just for an assessment. I urge everyone who is tired of getting scammed by appliance repair services to give them a call!

Called other company's no one wanted to come check my refrigerator. Peter was the only one who came and took a look a the problem. He took his time to fix the problem and made sure he got it done. No partner with him, he did it all himself. He also explained to me as he went along what was going on. Even when he was done he cleaned everything up. Now my Old refrigerator is back to normal you would think i just bought it. Thank you Peter definitely will be calling you if needed.

I would not hire Peter as he is not reliable. He is one person man who offer warranty that he should not offer in the first place. When the fridge broken again, he could not send someone to see what needs to be done next to fix it. The service was bad enough for me to go out of my way to write a review hoping this review may help someone else.

If you read my posting, you would know that my main problem is you are NOT reliable. If a customer has issues and there is a warranty, then regular practice is to CALL for support. For the fact you are asking why I called is a problem. People call you when they have a problem and willing to pay to remove the problem. When a customer calls back, it is called "repeated customer". I have the feeling you already had the mindset that your repair has nothing to deal with new issues. My expectation was that you pick up the call and find out what is the new issue or maybe do another visit to determine the issue. Then tell me if it does not cover by the warranty and there is an extra fee. If you are not realized this yet, your service is BAD because of the lack of responding and keeping your words. Lack of response is considered BAD customer service period. I hope this helps you in the future.

Got Peter's (the son in Father & Son Appliance Repair) info via our neighborhood listserv's recommended tradespeople list. Called him Thursday, explained issue that gas oven was not turning on (but broiler and stovetop were). Sent him photos including the model placard. We agreed it was likely the igniter which had gone bad 3 years back. He was here the next day and fixed it! We commiserated over all these modern made-to-break appliances and he gave me some advice - don't use the self-clean - it could possibly melt and mess up the computer module touch screen since the vent is right under it (dumb design i.e. made to break). If any appliance breaks again, we are calling Peter!!

Pete returned my call immediately. Unfortunately, he was not able to make a service call but he troubleshot my refrigerator repair over the telephone. I text him photos of the freezer and dials. He called me back with additional advise all out of kindness. I was truly thankful and impressed with his effort. Thank you, Pete. I wish you well.

I write this review as this phenomenal man just left our home. Excellent service and very honest. It's so hard to find good people these days that do not prey on those who are unfamiliar with their service. He was fair, quick, and absolutely a joy to have.

I really appreciate how busy he was and still showed up because his words were "I can't leave you guys without a fridge." Even when I assured him that he can come tomorrow if it's getting too late.

I will be recommending him to everyone I know!

Pete is awesome! Genuine dude. Seriously. He even tried to troubleshoot my fridge issue over the phone just to make things easier but it turned out he had to come by to fix my fridge. He was able to jump my starter relay, and blow out all the dust from my coils and gave me some tips. He’s a busy guy so be patient with his schedule. He’s also a very honest business man!!! So the patience is so worth it. And he’s a comedian! THANK YOU SO MUCH PETE. I’ll be using you for years to come for sure.

Pete’s voice mailbox was full but he used his caller ID and called me back within the hour, to my surprise, on a Sunday afternoon 5 days before Christmas. He was heading out to another job but said he would call when he was on his way to repair my oven. I know-what a time of year for my oven to act up!! True to his word, he called about 3 1/2 hours later and was on the way. He was very personable, professional and knowledgeable. He fixed the oven and I can finish what I need to get done for the holiday. Thanks, Pete!!

Peter came really quickly when we had an emergency with the AC. He arrived right away and successfully fixed the leak in the AC. Additionally, he fixed a leak in the refrigerator and made it work effectively. He also checked the stove and suggested that I buy a new one. Used Alex on a couple of different occasions (dishwasher and ice maker in a freezer). He is very knowledgeable and reasonably priced. He did not try to sell me anything I didn’t need and was able to fix my issues on both occasions.

When it’s hot outside, you will turn your AC on. That’s what I did. But it didn’t work. So I called Mechanical’s Ambulance. They responded quickly and were able to fix my AC within an hour and gave me warranty for they job. Will definitely call them again if needed ✌🏼

Recently my heating system went down, I’ve called this company, was referred by a friend of mine. And this guys did a great job. Got my unit back running, and done preventative maintenance on my unit. And gave me warranty for the labor.
