The office responded very quickly to my initial email, and I was able to setup an appointment for the next day. The team who came to our apartment was very professional, very informative, and clear about my options. They did not try to sell me any services I did not need but offered their educated recommendation. I always appreciate that because it's the same way I do business myself. I would definitely recommend them or have them back if I had similar testing needs again in the future.

David and his team are very professional and do a great job. We needed a mold inspection and they walked us through the entire process and we were happy to pass with flying colors. Highly recommend this company ! I've never dealt with mold or anything but suspected it in my apt. bathroom walls. Anthony was very helpful on the phone and David and his team were efficient and friendly. The whole process was fast, easy and reasonably priced. The information they provided was super helpful, I feel more knowledgeable about mold and what's happening in my apt. Thankfully my issue was small, but please get your home inspected if you suspect anything, mold is such a hazard.

Big Apple Mold rescued my apartment, and I cannot thank them enough. I came home one night and found my apartment totally flooded. They came on a moment’s notice and vacuumed everything, disinfected it, and set up fans and humidifiers. Within a few days my walls went from 100% humidity to 0%. Just to be sure, they left the machines running for another few days. They were such a relief throughout the whole process. I'm so impressed with Big Apple Mold Removal! I have had mold issues in my apartment for years and my landlord has previously sent another company to come twice and do an air quality test--which I am pretty sure they falsified the results because the mold presence is obvious.

I'm moving from the apartment and wanted to check that my furniture would be safe to move- I didn't want to take any furniture with mold to my new place. I spoke with David on the phone and he was very kind and helpful and promised me that they would act quickly due to my limited timeframe and that they would only recommend remediation efforts if absolutely necessary.

David most definitely delivered on his promise. Within a couple of days, Kenny came to my apartment at a time that was convenient for me to do a free consultation. He was great with communication before the visit and came within the agreed window.

He was really nice and friendly and took his time looking through everything and explaining mold growth, how to clean my furniture, etc. He was absolutely wonderful. I didn't get an air sample because I'm leaving the apartment in two weeks so I was just interested in a quick inspection of my furniture to see if it needed remediation. He told me that professional remediation wasn't needed and that I should buy a specific spray to wipe everything down before I move out.

I can't speak highly enough about how professional and helpful he was to me. It is like night and day with the other mold company. Kenny spent more time during the free consultation and was more thorough than the last company that took samples. Kenny also pointed out the asbestos in my hallway and where he thinks the mold would be lurking (which he could smell right away upon entry-and so can most of my visitors!).

If I ever need a mold remediation company or would need to recommend one, I would recommend them without any hesitation!

Our experience with Big Apple Mold was excellent.
Of the remediators I interviewed to remediate mold in my mother's apartment, they seemed the most knowledgeable, David, the owner that is. We had numerous roadblocks to overcome, including unusually high insurance requirements by the coop. Big Apple was always positive throughout this lengthy and often discouraging process. Annabelle their office manager made everything so smooth and was always super prompt in answering questions or requests. And patient too.
When we finally got the green light, the team they sent was well trained, pro active, hard working and friendly (Kirk,Jaime and Kevin) . You just had to ask once, and they went the extra mile. Patrick the team leader was outstanding, personable and informed, taking utmost precaution around the numerous antiques.
They also worked well with the air monitor that we were required to hire.
The job was finished on schedule and air scrubbers were left to run for several days. When we finally got the mold test results back, mold levels had all been reduced way below the acceptable level.
I am taking the time to write this review because this was a great burden on our family in our effort to create a clean environment for our aging mother. Big Apple made it happen.

He and his staff were prompt, knowledgeable and neat. The work was done efficiently and reasonably priced. He and his staff (shouts outs to Junior, Ryan and Brigador, the office manager) are very professional. They were very thorough in their inspection of the areas and used state of the art equipment to detect mold and moisture under the sheet rock. There wore protective gear and were very careful to contain the contamination. All was patiently explained to me and all my questions and concerns were addressed. All work was done professionally and timely. I highly recommend this company.

Excellent company and service. David was incredibly understanding, and his team did an incredible job removing my entire floor, prepping the sub floor for an install and removing and remediating all mold. The price was higher than I was able to afford at the time, and David was understanding and incredibly accommodating in lowering it to fit my budget. This is a great company, and I highly recommend them.

We had a major mold problem in our bathroom on the Upper West Side. We contacted 3 mold specialists. Big Apple was the clear winner. They are organized, communicative, responsive and professional. The inspector showed up with tons of equipment and spent a lot of time evaluating and analyzing the problem. The price they quoted was surprisingly reasonable. They did a great job, removing large swaths of wall and tile down to the studs. They bring giant air scrubbers to remove airborne mold during and after the remediation. We were very impressed with their whole operation.
