I had a big project at my house. Ahmed and his team at Smart General Contracting were great. During my balcony/flat roof demolition/renovation they did a high quality professional job, very clean, no headache, efficient and reasonable in price. The balcony turned out great and I definitely recommend them for all your contracting needs big or small. they’re all around pros.

Fantastic job from start to finish by Smart General Contracting. My residence required extensive refurbishment that included sidewalk, curb, driveway, front walkway, steps, porch, brick facade work, stucco, some roofing repairs, among other things. The quality of the work was excellent and the work quote was very fair. As it always is with jobs this large, there are inevitable cost over-runs on things. Iftikhar (Ahmad) was always very attentive and sensitive to our project budget and helped us navigate the expenses as best as possible all while never sacrificing any quality whatsoever. VERY solid contractor and deserves consideration for all exterior residential work.

After calling around and receiving quotes from multiple contractors, Smart General Consulting is the one that provided us with the best quote as well as assurance that the project will be handled in a timely manner. Their team is hard working, efficient, and very friendly. It took them a day to demolish, clean up, and poured the new concrete. We need to build a concrete wall and install flagstone pavers for our front patio, Ahmad and his crew did a great job. They really took the time to ensure work was done right. and he charged a reasonable price for the job, we are very pleased going with Ahmad as he is honest and delivered quality work. I normally don’t give reviews, but I have to admit I hired smart general contracting to replace a couple of concrete window sill to my house, and his workers were very polite, and they really made sure my concerns were satisfied. Smart General fully renovated our entire exteriors (brickface, stucco, roofs, gutters, leaders, brick + granite stairs, demo, etc) and did an amazing job. The quote estimate was reasonable and work started within a week. So glad I chose them as the work was extremely of high-quality and took 3 months. Throughout the entire process, Ahmad was extremely attentive and responsive to all our concerns & needs. They cleaned up afterwards on a daily basis after the job which was a nice plus. I chose them not just because of the reasonable quote but mainly because of their excellent reviews and now I ended up giving an excellent review based on my own experience as well. So far we have been getting many high praises from neighbors & passerby in the area with one even mentioning that it was "beautiful & best in the block." I would highly recommend Smart General to all my friends, coworkers, & family and anyone reading this review!

UPDATE on 6/7/2024:
Ahmad was extremely responsive to helping us patch a stucco hole repair after getting our AC pipe leakage repaired. We didn't know there was an issue with our AC pipes until 6 months later when the weather got warmer. Thankfully, Ahmad still came to the rescue 6 months later to help us with the stucco patch repair. It was very timely due to the rainy weather & upcoming hot BBQ season. Would highly recommend Smart General to everyone as they are extremely honest, reliable, & responsible! A+

I needed some outdoor stairs re-made and outdoor concrete walkway poured. Ahmad and his crew did a great job. My new stairs are brick and limestone, excellently made with a great eye for detail. Am very happy with them! As for the concrete, the walkway looks great and again, Ahmad and his crew paid attention to all the details. Very professional work both in look, attention to details, and follow-up. Very reasonable pricing. Highly recommend Smart General Contracting for any job you have and I would hire them again for any outside job I needed done.

Recently had to have my outdoor front steps done, some contractors were asking a crazy amount and did not really leave me comfortable. I reached out to Smart General Contracting and they came gave a great estimate and allowed me to add things on that also needed to be addressed. They are a great company and will help you and give good ideas on how it should be done. All was completed and I’m so happy with how my house looks and the steps are much safer now. Thank you and I will be using them again if ever needed.
