We had an emergency situation because our oven had a gas leak. With guests arriving in two days, Paul was able to come immediately and upgrade our wiring to accommodate a new electric induction oven. The service was excellent and I cannot recommend Electrified more strongly.

Paul and Michael were literal life savers. I live in an old building and have been trying to replace my ceiling fans for some time. I was worried that it was going to be a tough job due to the manner in which the previous owners had installed it. They had it done in less than 2 hrs. It’s hard to find good and affordable help in NYC but these guys are top professionals.

We used Electrified to upgrade our electric service--installing a new, 200 amp panel--and correct a number of problems in our house wiring. They were entirely professional, showed up at the appointed time, did the work to code, left the premises clean and orderly. Their prices were very competitive. The plug to my router came out of the wall causing a large spark that left the outlet and surrounding wall black. I was concerned the outlet was blown.

About their communication: I called these guys and arranged a time. They cancelled due to illness. They never rescheduled. I called to reschedule weeks later. They said they would come in the early morning, but they never called on the day. When I called on the day, they said they’d be there in an hour. They showed up 10 minutes later. Overall, very poor communication.

About their work: they assessed the outlet was not blown. They were in my place for 5 minutes. That 5 minutes cost 175 dollars. 175 dollars for 5 minutes of work = $2,100 an hour.

In the end, I felt like I'd been hustled.

Paul, the owner, answered the phone on the first ring, and listened to my request. He understood what I needed and was able to give me an estimate. He was able to accommodate my schedule and meet me after I bought the new light fixture. He also identified a need I had not anticipated which would become an issue with my new chandelier, and installed a new light switch because mine was 30 years old. He maintained excellent communication, was very professional, was professional with his staff, respectful and knowledgeable. I would use this company again in a heartbeat, and am grateful for the excellent, speedy service. Thank you, Paul!

Paul was incredibly responsive and hard working. My power went out and didn’t have any air conditioning during this heatwave. He was able to come the next day and fix everything - which is not an easy feat in these older buildings. Appreciate Paul, his work, and the conversation we shared as well

Paulie is great. Super responsive, reliable, and efficient. Also he’s very fair! I had wanted a warmer light in my kitchen than the one available. We installed what was in stock and then once the wattage became available that I wanted he came and replaced my cabinet lights at no charge. I needed an electrician to update my fuse box to a breaker box and struggled to find an electrician that would provide this service for a price as reasonable at this one did. Plus, the scheduling was very flexible and communication before was exceptional. Paul and his team were very thorough when conducting the project and were helpful in answering a wide range of questions about the project. Paul was actually a life-saver!! I called him for an emergency (the dishwasher had flooded the kitchen and sparks were shooting out of it) and he was there ASAP. He rewired the dishwasher, fridge, and stove so that they were safe; the way my apartment had them wired before could have started a fire or electrocuted someone. He also explained everything that he was doing so that I knew what to look out for in the future. So glad Paul was able to help, and I highly recommend his services.

Paul is a legend, knows his stuff like you wouldn't believe and charged what I consider to be a very honest and fair rate despite the fact that I called him on extremely short notice. Showed up wicked fast 10/10 if you have an issue call Electrified.

Paulie is an expert electrician who came right on time to check out an old rusty circuit in my basement. He reviewed the situation thoroughly and gave us a reasonable quote. We’d originally scheduled the job for the next day, but Paulie went above and beyond - he offered to finish the work the same day so it wouldn’t hold up my basement renovation. He worked quickly, showed deep knowledge, and handled everything professionally. The circuits are now in top shape with new metal boxes and outlets.
