I had an electrical problem, the light flickered badly and I needed an expert. Luckily, I read several reviews of Electrified and contacted them. I communicated with Paul and scheduled an appointment. Paul is the ultimate professional. Showed up on time, diagnosed my problem and did his part to solve the issue. Paul is an expert, extremely reliable and his workmanship is outstanding. Despite the extensive work, when he left, everything was clean and neat. After he left, he followed up with phone calls to ensure everything was done to my satisfaction. I am lucky to have found him. He is a definitely 5 stars and I know I will call him if I ever need electrical work in the future. I would recommend him to anyone who wants
a job well done.

Quick diagnosis for problem and fix. $175 / hr for 1 hour min charge seemed very fair for weekday pricing. Would recommend for those in the neighborhood.

Well, Paul asked for an honest review so here it is:
I have no complaints about the electrical work itself; as far as I can tell that was done with the expertise one should expect when hiring a licensed electrician. But if my job had not been time sensitive and a matter of safety (a ceiling fixture that was popping and sparking), I would not have hired him. Main reason being: on the initial visit to look at the problem, he quite nonchalantly insulted my neighborhood AND my neighbors with racist, derogatory comments. (Hey buddy, you might want to take a moment to realize that your prospective customer *lives in* the neighborhood you’re disparaging!).

Also, I left work early to accommodate the timeframe he gave for the initial visit (3-6pm); but he arrived at 6:15 — and that was after I had to text & then call him to see if he was still coming.
Then he said it would be an “all day job” and quoted a price ($650) that was probably not exorbitant, but no great bargain either. And when the job was completed in 2 hours (which I did appreciate), the price did not change.
I will say, the cleanup was meticulous, they left the area as they found it. But I’m also not happy with the hole that I now need to have filled/spackled & painted (see pictures).

Prior to the job, Paul instructed me to get a 10-inch medallion, which I did. During the job, he realized that would not cover the hole he needed to make; so I said I’d run out to get a bigger one, suggesting that I thought I’d seen 14 inch ones. He measured the hole and said “14 inches should just make it”, but added that if they had a larger one it might be better. So I got a 16 inch medallion, thinking the extra 2” all around should surely cover the hole. Therefore I don’t think I’m being unreasonable to be unhappy with the outcome — which when I mentioned it to Paul, he was again very nonchalant — “yeah, I couldn’t move the fixture over more; you can just get someone to patch it up”. So all in all — I’m glad to have the job (& the danger) over with, but I will not be hiring him again.

Paul is professional, honest, reasonable with his quotes for the work he provides and overall an expert in his field. He was quick and tidy with replacing 6 recessed lights, a ceiling fan and changing out two light switches in a bedroom. This is the second time I have worked with Paul and I know it will not be the last.I highly recommend his services to anyone in search of an electrician.

Excellent diagnostic skills! I thought I had a major wiring fire because of a burnt-looking outlet, but the technician quickly identified that the real issue was a faulty circuit breaker. He replaced it on a Sunday and got my laundromat back in business immediately. Honest, professional, and didn't try to upsell me on unnecessary repairs. Highly recommended for any business owner!

My luck this week has been..interesting🥴 At its peak I found myself in need of an electrician at night. I bought a small heater for my apartment the tripped the circuits and I lost power. When I flipped them back on I heard crackling sounds coming from the box and it felt warm. I googled electricians near me. Paul business was the first that popped up. Being he has 4.9 ratings I called him first & glad in did!!

My first call he told me what to do and said he wasn’t going to charge me for the advise given (find the one thats making the noise and leave it off) being that he felt it was an issue that could be resolved with a visit from him the next day- I have to work. Also the items in the apartment that were affected- I was ok to wait.

Well…2 hrs later I realized that the refrigerator was on that circuit I had to leave off. There was no way I could wait. I gave Paul a call again and he came within 30 minutes. He fixed the problem and showed me the damage I caused. YIKES! 🥴
So glad I called when I did.

He gave me some advice on how to seal my widows to prevent the cold air from coming in the apartment. And also showed me the right outlets to use for my heater (who knew)

All in all Paul made my luck turn to a positive! He was straightforward, to the point and fixed the problem. If you’re looking for an electrician, I would definitely recommend him in heartbeat. Thanks Paul!

We were snowed in during the blizzard when our power went out in the middle of the night. We called several electricians, knowing it was unlikely anyone would answer, let alone be able to come out during a travel ban.

Enter Paul, who picked up, stayed on the phone with me—a complete stranger—and patiently walked me through, step by step, how to troubleshoot and fix the issue. Thanks to him, we were able to restore our electricity in the middle of a terrible storm. He even checked in the next morning to make sure we were okay.

The other week I discovered a reliable electrician service that really impressed me with their professionalism. The staff were knowledgeable, responsive, and provided clear explanations of the work needed - it was great to see such a focus on honest communication! I appreciated their upfront pricing with no hidden fees, which made the whole experience very stress-free.

Helped me in my time of need! Electrified saved me when I had no power (which led to no heat) during our snowstorm. Paul went completely out of his way to help me out. If you're looking to hire someone with integrity and thoughtfulness, I would recommend 100%.

Paul responded very quickly to my call. He was able to get to my place for an inspection quickly and the work was done a few days later. His crew worked quickly with the minimal disruption. Checked their work carefully and cleaned up before leaving.

Paulie was absolutely fantastic. He helped us with a late night emergency call on a weekend for my elderly father. He gave us all the options, including options to save us money and time. He was extremely knowledgeable and followed up with us after his service. He fixed everything quickly and we are so grateful.
