All of the staff, especially Tommy, has helped me deal with the inevitable problems you have with a pool. Definitely the place to go for anything having to do with pools!

My Inground Pool was installed by Mill Bergen Pools. Can I say it is a Wonderful Establishment. My Pool was installed within 14 days with removal of my outground pool and the deck surrounding it. The workers were efficient and did the job well. I am Extremely happy with the results. I have already recommended this company to my next door neighbor who went with a Long Island Company that did not complete her job and cost her twice as much money she was trying to save. Tom, Bob and their team of professionals have been opening and closing my pool for over 20 years. I couldn't have been happier with their service. All their workers are very well trained and a pleasure to work with. This review has a bittersweet ending as I sold my house and moved out of Brooklyn, however, I will forever have memories of my pool and the great relationship I've had with Mill Bergen Pools. Incidentally, Bob sold me the pool and his team installed it and had it up and working on July 4th weekend 1997. I wish everyone at Mill Bergen well and if you're ever in the Bluffton SC area, look me up.

Needed to buy a 2hp pump and 2 valves for my Hayward filter all that this store has in stock. Was intending on spending $600-$700. The door was locked and a sign says only 1 customer is allowed inside the store at a time, meanwhile there are 3 people working behind the counter. I’m fine with that since it’s company policy. While I’m waiting outside 4 men pull up in a pickup and proceed to walk in the store so now there are 8 people inside the store that I could see and they would not let me come inside. So I left and took my business elsewhere!

I was in store 2 days ago. Its my first time owning a pool and i had a lot of questions about how to keep my water clean and clear and most importantly safe for my children to swim. The sales person in store were impatient and rude to me, they were not really happy in answering my questions and making me comfortable. I still paid for the water test and spent aprox. $100 in chemicals that they suggested. Today, after 2 days of performing the treatment suggested, my pool level on testing strip are completely off and when i called the store for guidance, again they were impatient and unhelpful. They said they can’t help
Me over the phone. So I am assuming they expect me to come to store and spend more money to fix what is wrong. Definitely dissapointed and frustrated over the poor service provided.

Been using Mill Bergen to service/clean my pool for over 20 years. They have always done a good job but the guys that have been doing my pool this season have been the best by far.

Horrible customer service. A number of years ago I contacted them to potentially install a new liner on my above ground pool. I contacted them multiple times and nobody ever got back to me after taking my info and saying they would contact me. I waited almost a month and had multiple phone calls with false promises. So, I ended up giving up and using a different company.

Fast forward to a few weeks ago….I had a problem where my filter motor died, so I purchased a new filter on Amazon. The fittings weren’t quite right, and it was a bit confusing….so I went to the store against my better judgement bc of my previous issue with them…but wanted to give them another chance bc they really are the only game in town, and bought a few pieces hoping it would help but didn’t.

So I went back and asked if I can make an appointment to have someone look at it and help me out. This was on a Monday….the girl took down my info on receipt paper (I already knew this wasn’t going to go well). She told me I would get a call Thursday or Friday. Well, no call came, so I went back that next Monday, and the same woman basically said they were busy with pool openings and it would be the coming Thursday/Friday as that’s when they are in the area. Well that was 3 weeks ago….did they contact you? Because they never contacted me.

I ended up buying PVC piping and elbows and figuring it out myself bc my pool was horribly green and I couldn’t wait anymore.

This store STINKS! I would never ever recommend them, nor would I go back to the for anything! Horrible customer service!!!!

Terrible Pool service. We have been using them for the past two years and now my mother’s entire skin has broken out and is irritated for a pool they service every week. When we bought the strips to test the water every single level in the pool was off. For $3000 for 3 months, completely not worth it. And I would high recommend figuring out how to service your own pool. I don’t think I have ever seen this happen in a public pool that tons of people use.

Living in South Brooklyn I was happy to hear that there was a pool store in Brooklyn after the Pool Factory closed. Traveled on a Sunday morning, spoke with Tom who seemed very knowledgeable and caring at the time we spoke. Told me the job I needed done was minor and could be done the following week. He then refers me to Alexa to take my information. Three weeks later, two calls with voicemails not returned and numerous emails continually asking me to send more pictures and still no one has shown up or called. Seems that they are that busy or don’t really care about customer service. I also spent over $100 the day of my visit. Now reading all the the reviews I see it’s the same old story. I did the job myself and will continue to buy my pool supplies online, not giving my money to the mom and pop small business like I was hoping too. This is the reason small companies can’t retain clients, a simple call back from Tom after leaving two voicemails with a little concern would’ve went a long way. Not even an email return from Alexa. Unfortunately, my business going forward will keep the online employees in business!

After 12 years my filter pump broke down. After contacting the manufacturer for repair they couldn't help me due to the pandemic. No parts were available, not even a replacement pump. I contacted Mill Bergen Pools and my problem was resolved in 2 days. The guys were early knowledgeable ,and couldn't have been nicer. Alexa found my new pump and couldn't have been more willing to help. I highly recommend this company for all your pool services and supplies. Great people to deal with.

Mill Bergen Pools was the company I chose to build our residential pool in Brooklyn. They were very professional and responsive. They were able to build our gunite pool with water feature really quickly so we could enjoy it before the next summer months. I know it was a challenging job set in a one way street, with no backyard access. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a professional look and feel and a pool guaranteed to last for decades. Bob and his family are great and care for customer service. Highly recommended.
