I've been at PS Plumbing Supply 3 times: once just to dream about new kitchen & bathroom, once to interview Bob, designer there, about what's available and price ranges, and once to order everything I needed: tub, drain, bathroom & kitchen sinks, faucets. The first time, when I was just browsing, I appreciated being left alone. Second time, Bob was full of information and let me steer towards the styles & prices I wanted. Third time, Bob ordered everything for me, even going through his books to find me a substitute for the pedestal sink I'd chosen that was just not available in the NY metro area. Less than a week later, all was delivered neatly and cleanly to my door.

These guys are a neighborhood treasure. You just have to know how to speak Brooklyn.

If you are looking at these reviews, your contractor, builder or renovator probably suggested you use Park Slope Plumbing Supply.
Their prices are the same or higher than Amazon or Home Depot, and Park Slope Plumbing Supply will not accept refunds.
They'll argue about every aspect of your order trying to convince you to purchase their preferred vendors and tell you anything else will fail. For example, they claimed and argued that American made delta faucets were not nearly as dependable as Chinese made DXV faucets.
They will also not provide refunds, a lot of foot-dragging, requiring printed/faxed credit-card authorizations (because they officially only can take credit cards sometimes at their store for a fee), and then negotiate restocking fees.
Dealing with Park Slope Plumbing Supply is a nightmare, while purchasing the same exact supplies from Amazon or Home Depot arrived in a day, were often a bit cheaper, and included free shipping and easy full refunds.
My advice, avoid Park Slope Plumbing Supply!

Horrible service. They keep nothing in stock and will take 2+ weeks for your items to arrive. 25% restocking fee and overall condescending attitude. Shop elsewhere.

The Staff at Park Slope Pluming were very COURTEOUS and PATIENT WITH ME. They Basically walked me through it step by step.

I had a very hard to find part I thought I needed replaced, and instead they showed me how to fix the one I had. Best customer service I've experienced anywhere in years. Highly recommended.

Sales reps are always well informed, knowledgeable and give you time to discuss products. The products they recommend are always high quality for a good price and within the budget I've requested.

I've been coming to these guys for 18 years and love their professional service, huge stock, good prices and convenient location. I've bought everything from steam gauges to high end Toto bathroom suites from them and always had people who had a deep knowledge of the products help me. It's a pleasure coming here. And the delivery has always been hitch-free.

always a pleasure doing business here. been in three times now to pick up stuff for my cafe and have never been disappointed. sometimes there is a bit of a sticker shock when buying, but i’m also happy to spend more knowing that it’s going to a great and helpful local business with exceptionally knowledgeable salespeople. the whole world of plumbing is profoundly confusing to me but they make it all just a bit easier.

Update: So today I stopped by for some help. They told me to order the part online. I really hate when you take the time to go to a brick and mortar store, and they just tell you to get it online. I got the impression that they prefer to work directly w plumbers and contractors and don't care about smaller sales.

If I could write a title of this review, it would be: Do Not Buy Your Toilet at a Big Box Store. That's because I went through 2 such stores to buy a Toto toilet. The first time, it arrived in about 55 different pieces, completely shattered. Then I had to deal with returning this carcass of a toilet. (They wanted me to return 100 lbs. of porcelain shards myself!). Store #2 never got to the delivery stage, since they did not provide "white-glove" delivery to Brooklyn. When they finally checked on the item in the warehouse, it too had shattered.
My husband saw Park Slope Plumbing Supply while driving by. I called and spoke to Randee, who made the whole process super easy. I never even had to visit the store. She suggested my plumber pick up the toilet, and now this whole month-long journey of buying a toilet is over!
I will definitely look up Park Slope Plumbing Supply the next time I'm in the market for such goods and services.

Always doing charity events like Tous for Tots and helping feed local pets.

Sold a display vanity to my client and never included the wall mount hardware. Client called them they said contractor need to find screws for it. I called and took pictures then they said mfg will send hardware on their convinces. Told them unacceptable then the said they included the hardware for pick up. Told them no they need to speed up the package overnight. They claim is beyond their control so we wait. Now I will retract all business to them and Ferguson will be the new supplier. $20 over night will cost them more in business.

Called them today, asking for quote on clogged plumbing inspection. Dispatch was rude refused to talk and explain what would be charge to come and inspect it after it ended call. Not sure where positive reviews came from.

We had a fantastic experience with Park Slope Plumbing. Tom and Tony were incredible throughout the entire process. We made a significant purchase and, like with any large project, there were some delays from distributors that were out of their control. What stood out was how the team handled it.

Tom, the owner, personally made calls to vendors to get things moving. He got creative with us to find solutions and made sure the project stayed on track. That kind of involvement from an owner is rare and deeply appreciated.

Tony was also outstanding. He made sure everything flowed smoothly and kept us informed every step of the way. The communication, professionalism, and commitment to seeing things through were top notch.

I understand some of the other reviews here, but in my experience, what matters most is how a company reacts when things don’t go perfectly. Park Slope Plumbing went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, and that speaks volumes. I wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again.

Incompetent.
