Jim, Stew and Okarey are the best around. They came in when we needed them the most to weatherize my house. They were very professional and polite
And made the job personal. Since I have a newborn baby they made sure to Vent the house out and make sure that it was safe upon return for myself and my newborn. They went Above and beyond. From providing Proper insulation To the basement and preventing anymore Air leaks from the attic...... They even were able to move Some of the items I had in the attic to one side. Seeing as how I had emergency C section, I was unable to do so prior to them coming. They tented my stairs Going up to my attic Installed a carbon monoxide monitor And a vent in the bathroom upstairs to prevent mold. They were very accommodating even Made sure not to track any mud or snow within my house.

Tony spent considerable time inspecting our house, quickly arrived at a comprehensive plan for improving our house’s energy efficiency, and the work was completed two weeks later. Personable and efficient. I recommend.

Jim and Stew just left after completing my NYSERTA job in one day as opposed to the original 2 day estimate! Very nice guys and they both tolerated my interruptions and questions very graciously! Thanks guys! I hope my home will be warmer now after your efforts! (My dogs thank you, too!)

Wow! I never would have thought that insulation would be so exciting! From the initial quote that Tony wrote up to the final conclusion of the project, everyone was professional and communicative. When Jim and Stu came to do the work, I was struck by their knowledge, friendliness, courtesy, and work ethic. They respected my property, cleaned up after themselves, and called me by name. They explained clearly what they were doing and took pictures along the way. Worth. Every. Penny. The bonus was that they told us about monies available from NYSERDA which reduced our out -of- pocket costs considerably!

I had a problem with the pipes freezing in my downstairs bathroom for as long as I have owned my house, about 20 years. I had an energy/ insulation company come in years ago to insulate and it still didn’t solve the problem. I called True Energy and Tony came to do a an assessment. They did the work the following week and I haven’t had a problem since and we had below zero wind chills. They were very efficient and respectful of my home. I would highly recommend them.

I've waited a few months before posting this review because I wanted to see if a situation resolved itself. Sadly, it did not.

Let me first start off by saying that I did a re-insulation on my house back in October. They came out to do an estimate in September and I waited to get a couple more estimates before I decided to use their service. They came out again, did another estimate (which somehow came out higher after only 2 weeks) and I signed the contract. They took 2 days in October to finish all of the work. The workers were very professional and cleaned up after all of their work. The project was done very well and I've felt the difference this winter having the house tightened up.

Now we get to the bad part. In November, I got an email from them that I qualified for a higher rebate from NYSERDA. They sent out a revised contract saying that the estimated rebate was $1400 more. Since I had already paid for the work, they were going to send me a refund. That was the week of Thanksgiving (late November). After 8 weeks or so, I emailed them asking about the status of the rebate. No response. I emailed them again and they sent a short response that said "I'll look into it". That was January 31. Since then, I've sent multiple emails with no response. I've tried calling with no answer. I know the contract said "ESTIMATE" on the rebate, but at this point, I don't know if the additional rebate just wasn't approved or if they kept the $1400 I was suppose to receive. It's hard to be sure because they've stopped responding to me. I've tried contacting NYSERDA to see if they ever requested the extra rebate, but they haven't responded either. I'd understand if the additional money wasn't approved, but I signed a contract with an estimated rebate. I'd expect some response, either positive or negative, although I'm not sure I'd necessarily trust a negative response at this point. No communication is not how to keep customers.

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY! SEE PICTURES!
The WORST QUALITY insulation job!! The MOST INCOMPETENT individuals ever! Bunch of Con artists! After complaining to the manager Ryan. He told me the salesman George LaCorte exaggerates information to customers.
I have reported this company to NYSERDA! The company provided false information. They are CON ARTISTS!
    The WORST INSULATION JOB EVER!
SCAM! Take a look at the Air Seal Job. As you could see from the photos . Definitely DID NOT AIR SEAL THE RIM JOIST!
    INCOMPETENT!

Wonder why the owner Tony Karpovich has not responded to this review?

I would look else where. Tony came out for the estimate and to sign the contract and then was non existent when issues started. Baffles were never installed prior to spraying the insulation in the attic. When I went to check out the job I noticed the blown in insulation was 12-13” at best and 8” in some places. I tried to get a hold of Tony and the office and got no response and when the guys came back the next day I brought it up them. The one guy claims it’s 16” which all the sticks say other wise(pictures attached). Also claimed they didn’t know they needed to install baffles. So they ended up throwing baffles in but I’m sure they are useless since the soffits are probably full of insulation. They guys doing the work were respectful at least. On the final payment I was giving the wrong amount because things changed with the grant and payed more than needed. I was supposed to get a refund check for the extra paid. Over a month later still haven’t seen it and haven’t heard from Tony of the office.

I would not under any circumstances consider hiring Cole at CP Home Services to install or repair a heating system of any kind. I regret the decision to do so enormously. I have had several actual HVAC professionals look at my installation now and shake their heads at what a huge waste of money it was and express sympathy about how I got taken. There were several installation errors that had to be addressed by others, and now I have ongoing issues with a brand new Navien boiler. Coincidence?... I think not. The whole job will need to be redone. It’s a nightmare, honestly. In one particular zone, CP installed radiant heat that does not work at all. Apparently Cole used the wrong sized pex (too small, 3/8th, cheapest?) and did not even bother installing the heat transfer plates necessary to conduct heat to the floor. Also, he pierced the pex tubing with staples occasionally causing small leaks, which worsened in time and under pressure, becoming evident only after he was long gone.Cole has failed to return calls or address any of these issues or stand by his work in any way. I hate to say or admit it but I feel totally taken advantage of as a woman and let down by Cole and the former friend, a plumber, who recommended him, perhaps for commission or referrals? I don’t know why anyone would recommend this company otherwise. Stear clear and go with a reputable HVAC company even if it costs you more upfront. Don’t be taken in by lowball estimates that go up later, a common scam. It ends up costing you piece of mind and a small fortune in the end. I say this as I sit here with no heat, again, in 27 degree temperatures with snow on the ground. Not even an acknowledgement of a fruitless call and text to Cole at the so-called CP Home Services, of course.

Cole can legit fix or install anything! He most recently installed my central air and did some repairs to my furnace. He is friendly, fair and hardworking. You will not be disappointed - I call/text him all the time for help at my house! I highly recommend him.

Cole and his team have done multiple jobs on our home including putting a/c in when we first moved to New York and fixing burst pipes as well. I recommend CP Home Services to everyone I know. They do great work and fair prices. I would give 6 stars if I could. I’ll definitely be using them again for whatever our home needs.

Parked in Wegmans parking lot. Was just cursed out for no reason by one of the company's drivers for just being parked next to him.
