Legit Services installed a home charger for my electric vehicle. His price was reasonable and the job was clean. The technician Rick was friendly and knowledgeable.

Rickey was hired to change out a 10 yr smoke/carbon detector. He was efficient and a consummate professional. I was so pleased, I’ve since hired him for additional electrical work that will be done in phases. The 2nd job went very well and I’m looking forward to having Rickey complete the work.

Rickey does incredible work, the quality is fantastic (and I’ve had a few other handyman’s in the past). They do a great job cleaning up after as well and set great expectations on how long things could take.

Everything Legitservices has done for us has been top notch! We were lucky to find them. Rickey Francique, the owner, is a delight to work with. He explains everything clearly. We were so pleased with Rickey’s work on our electric system (see our earlier post) that we asked him to do our kitchen rehab. The job involved floor and backsplash tiling , beautifully done by Rickey’s dad Renrick, countertops, painting walls and windows, setting up all 4 appliances and many other small touches. When they took up the old tiles they noticed it didn’t have the proper underfloor. Rather than just slap on the new tiles they were determined to do it right so the tiles wouldn’t crack ( as the old ones had). This is typical of this family team’s professionalism and knowledge. Rickey was immediately responsive to any communication from us and often checked in with us to make sure everything was on track. On a more personal note it was a pleasure to have them around (father and three sons). The Franciques are not only respectful and considerate but calm and cheerful which made this potentially anxiety producing experience run smoothly. ***** highest possible recommendation!

We hired Rickey to upgrade our outlets, switches, and to move outlets and install new outlets, and install four new lighting fixtures. He and Rensen did an amazing job. They worked quickly and meticulously and completed the work in record time. Rickey was determined that the walls and ceilings were left restored to perfection. I hired Rickey to install recessed lights in my living room, update and add additional outlets and install ceiling fans in several rooms. I have only good things to say about the entire process. Starting with scoping out the work and explaining what is required to install recessed lights and fans in ceilings that were not wired through the completion of the job, Rickey and his team not only did great work, but the work was completed on time. One of the things I most appreciated about Rickey was that he made every effort to minimize the dust and dirt created, and at the end of the job, after all the necessary wall openings were well patched and painted, he made sure that the work areas were thoroughly cleaned. They did a great job installing this lantern ! I was really impressed with the efficiency and most importantly - the communication. Ricky was super patient explaining the process he took and helped me weigh a couple tradeoffs with regards to adding a light switch. They handled everything — from hanging up my light fixture perfectly, to moving electrical sockets with care and precision, and even coming up with creative solutions for tricky router placement issues. This one is going to be short and sweet. If you are looking for a highly competent and very reliable company. You’re on the right track with LegitServices. We have used them twice and they did really good work. Always on time, great communication, explaining what you needed to know and respectful of your time and property. We had an outdoor flood light with motion sensor installed replacing the one that malfunctioned. Recently we had a ceiling fan with light installed. Very pleased with the work.

I had a very disappointing experience with Alpha Icon Group, which appears to be managed by someone named Weston. After agreeing on a project, Weston failed to follow through on payment and stopped responding to calls and messages. He used multiple email addresses during communication, which made things even more confusing.

After speaking with others in our community, I discovered this wasn’t an isolated case. Weston has reportedly hired multiple companies for services and then claimed they were late or didn’t deliver — when in fact they did — and never paid them either.

This seems to be a pattern of behavior. Based on my experience and what I’ve heard from others, I would not recommend working with this individual or company.
