I will never shop at Adam‘s again! The staff are extremely unfriendly, rude, and avoid helping customers who have questions. I have been a repeat customer for years and will never return after today.

Adams staff goes above and beyond to help you with whatever questions you have. We did a DIY landscape design with Kim. She did an amazing job designing our landscaping and then helped us pick out each bush together when we were ready to pick up and take home. She is very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.

Got what I needed but I will admit, I was disappointed that there was literally no social distancing at all. Obviously memorial day weekend, but it was wall to wall people.
They could have had arrows for the aisles and better placement for people in line to check out. When I left the parking lot was 100% full and there were people parked wayyyyy down the side of the road. Definitely room for improvement there.
The flowers and plants are a home run as usual. -
Was so excited to visit as I’m starting a new garden at my new place. What a disappointment. Place was empty with Lots of employees milling around, yet not a single one greeted me, looked my way or asked if they could help. When I finally approached one to ask a question, her answer was a brief ‘nope’ and then she went back on her way. I don’t care how cool the deals are, ignore me and my $$ and you don’t get my business. Bummer!!

Very helpful staff. New facility is setup perfectly for browsing and checking out.
Much better than before. Dave the tree expert helped us with insecticides for bag worms eating our blue spruce tree new growth. -
This is for the owner to read and future customers. I bought 2 planter for our porch worth of $100, I saw the tag inside both of them suggesting full sun , I also water them but after couple hours in the sun I realized they don't like sun, the leaves start burning. Next day i took them back to the store the first guy told us this is not for full sun they like shades the tags inside were wrong and you can return it and he is going to show us what's good for full sun, after 20 mins waiting in the line, the manager refused to return and take the full responsibility for putting the wrong tag inside and had zero customer service. We were planning to buy so much for our new garden but seeing how they take zero responsibility for their mistake and absolutely horrible horrible horrible customer service that I haven't seen anywhere else I will never purchase anything from ADAMS NURSERY and I will make sure all my neighbors and family never go through same experience and buy their garden needs from a place with respectful customers service.

I couldn't be happier with my experiences @ Adam's Nurseries. The staff are super friendly, knowledgable and helpful.
Every year, I buy my Christmas tree from Adams and this year I decided to take my autistic brother with me to help pick one out (and decorate it). My brother and I were at the nursery for over an hour finding the perfect tree and while searching I got some excellent advice from a staff member outside. He was very accommodating to my brother and I and super friendly.
While the outside employee started trimming up the tree trunk and getting it wrapped up, I went inside and cashed out with Maryjo who was also extremely friendly and went out of her way to help us and provide us with some info on children's activities and when they occurred.
Lastly, the tree looks beautiful, it's super fragrant and my brother had a blast decorating it. Thanks a ton to Maryjo and the crew at Adam's for helping make our holiday a bit more cheerful. Happy Holidays! -
We bought a number of plants in 2012, and a tree wasn't growing or leafing up this year. In 2013, we called, and they suggested we bring in some photos and go from there. I took a number photos and a snippet of a branch. When I got there, the person I spoke with was able to identify the type of tree it was just by the little snippet, which was really impressive. He reviewed the pictures and described what had happened with the tree, which is now dead. Since it was not due to animal damage or other obvious non-warrantable issues, he gave me a store credit, no problem, and he was very good about it. I loathe returning anything, and I felt comfortable. I work in a solution-oriented business, so I can really appreciate the depth of knowledge he displayed and how easily he communicated it. I didn't find the pricing to be out of line. To be honest, I don't think you could find a better place to do business. In 2014, we went to the nursery to use our credit. We had more credit than the replacement tree costs. We found that it could be used for trees and shrubs only, and not on the additional flowers we were buying at the same time, and the whole credit had to be used at the same time. This would have left us with $50 in unused credit down the drain, as the replacement tree cost less than the original. In terms of guarantee, the replacement tree would not be guaranteed, because it was going to be bought on credit. The additional flowers weren’t going to be guaranteed either. We were puzzled, and were told that it was because the nursery was under new ownership, and they really didn’t have to honor our credit. We went back and found a different replacement tree, which happened to cost more than our original tree. So we got it instead. I understand the business reasons behind some of the goings-on described here, but my rating goes from 4 stars in 2013 to 3 stars in 2014. I give it 3 stars because the staff there are friendly and very knowledgeable, which is a plus. But my customer experience was pretty crappy, and that’s a minus.

I love Adam Nursery!! The staff is extremely knowledgeable and very professional. We went in with part of a plan on what to plant and looking for advice on how to finish it. The ladies in the yard understood exactly what were trying to do and gave us some great ideas on how to finish the project. The plants are high quality and the prices are extremely fair! For any major planting project Adams is my choice!

We loved working with Kim on our DIY garden! She was fabulous! The plants are gorgeous and we just love how everything turned out! Pricing was also where we expected it. Great customer service, after being treated poorly by another nursery.

I've purchased many landscaping trees from this nursery over the past 10-15 years without a problem. the nursery has always had fine material at an average cost. This year however the business has been sold to new owners.
We purchased a tree, tagged it with a sold tag, & was given a number to refer to when picking it up & assurance that it would be safe until we picked up the next day. The next day sure enough it was gone, along with similar trees. There was no suitable replacements left. Fran whom we dealt with on the purchase, & for many years was professional & apologetic. Spending an inordinate amount of time looking for the tree, telling us we had to talk to the manager about our problem, & how to seek a resolution.. The store manager & nursery manager were abrupt & short. although apologetic in a curt way, they would not replace the tree with a larger tree, that was suitable & only cost $15 more than the original tree.
We won't return, there are many nurseries that have comparable material at lesser cost, & a management without an attitude. -
Horrible customer service ... my bill was over $5000 and the woman who was helping me told me to go to Michael’s or Joanne’s for plastic flowers, Because i said i wanted colorful low maintenance flowers!
With all the different nursery one would expect better customer service.
Left all the plants and trees. I’d rather pay more than be treated like that. -
Granted the selection was huge and everything looked well cared for as with other quality nurseries in the area.
The prices are already higher than other nurseries and then they'll charge you an extra 3.99% to use your credit card. They pass it off as a cash discount, which isn't the case. They are just passing their credit card fees onto the consumer. That's shady if you ask me and others. Maybe the owner hit his head recently?? -
This is the best place to come for your landscaping needs! I was just there on Saturday. They have excellent customer service and they know their trees, plants, etc.... Whenever I call, Stephanie is always so polite and goes out of her way to find the answers. Neil and Landen is amazing on helping me to make the right decisions in choosing what trees or plants that would work for certain areas. I’ve been coming here for years and I love how they are always willing to help. Thank you!

Yesterday I purchased a couple of large shrubs. I forgot my veterans card, but the women that cashed me out "said no worries you can just come back tomorrow and we can rectify this"
However upon coming back early today they WILL NOT honor this.
Just another slap in the face for veterans -
We are 20+ year customers. Sunday we went to purchase hanging baskets. Since there are no prices on the baskets or posted anywhere that we could see, we asked an employee the price and were told $26.99. When we got to the register they rang up as $31.99. I questioned the price and the rude cashier told me to go find the person who told me $26.99 (mind you the lines were 20 people deep so I was not going to hold people up). I completed the sale then asked to speak with a manager. Out comes some very young girl (I believe her name was Becky) who, among other rude statements, tells us, "I'm sure there are other greenhouses you can go to if you are not happy." Yes, Adams Nursery, I'm sure there are. Terrible customer service!

I have shopped at Adams nursery for a few years , have found them to have nice variety and competitive pricing.
Last season they started to apply a fee for using credit or debit cards , which there was no mention of till check out.
We are transitioning to cashless society, now places are going to start cashing in.
I bought over 80 dollars worth of plants which ended costing more than I thought because fee. Who carries cash unless they know in advance -
I would like to give the nursery 0 stars but that is not an option.. Unfortunately I will no longer purchase any items from this nursery. The staff was rude and their incompetence about their knowledge of the plants in their store baffled me. Also when I asked staff to retrieve a hanging plant on display the response was "we are not allowed to sell plants that are on the top rung." What!? Why are they on display for sale? Very poor service. I usually spend over $300 for my plants every year. My business will go to another nursery that prides itself in customer satisfaction.

Purchased concentrated bug spray 3 day's ago. After reading how dangerous for inside use I took back today and because I had no receipt they said I could have bought it someone else. Cashier and supervisor Tracey Hotchkiss were nasty and rude. I purchased a large plant for $100.00 2 months ago and after 3 weeks it was dying so I took receipt and plant back but they would not help at all. Never go there and if you do you better have a receipt
I will never go there again. -
Adams nursery guarantees shrubs for 1 year from date of purchase. We brought a photo of and receipt for our dead Hydrangea within the 1 year time period. We were sent from one cashier to someone in the yard. Finally, after several questions, the woman wrote up the store credit. We waited to cash out & when we finally got our turn, that cashier said she doesn't know how to cash this out. So, we were sent to the store cashier, who cashed us out. For the same size plant, were charged $4 more, because of the price increase. We argued that they were replacing the shrub, as promised in their guarantee. She said we still have to pay the difference. Then that same cashier charged me 24.99 for a perennial that cost 10.99. So, we had to go wait in line again. They voided the first sale, but refused to provide me with proof of the voided sale. Then rang up the order again. I will NEVER EVER step foot in Adams Nursery again. They have lost a repeat customer. I recommend you go somewhere else for your plants.

Spend 2 hours in this place today, I did not see 1 dry leaf, this staff takes good care of their plants, and wet soil in all these pots. if what you want is a healthy plant this is your place!
In regards to prices.... definitely cheaper than online, if you compare them with Lowes and HomeDepo there is a huge difference in quality and care, some plants had the same price as these stores but again, much better conditions. The place was neatly clean (I loved that part) and in the time I spent there 3 employees offered to help me, I'm a foreigner normally I don't get all this cordiality.
Overall in the plant sections expect the same prices as other places but don't look for cheaper because you are paying for quality.
