Bought a new artificial tree . Was approached when we entered by an employee who was extremely helpful. He showed us several trees and was very knowledgeable. He made the decision easy. They have everything you could possibly need to decorate for the holidays. Also bought some really nice grave blankets for my parents and grandparents graves. Highly recommend Dee's .

My wife and I have been going to Dee's for many years. The selection is vast, the plants are healthy, the staff is friendly and very knowledgeable, the owners (and family) are fantastic. Their non-family employees have been there for as long as we've been going. That says a lot. The few one star reviews should be ignored - they are most likely local competitors trying to degrading their ratings.

What can I say, this place is all about Knowledgeable, friendly loving people who care about the consumer. I honestly wish every department store had people as such. I absolutely enjoy going to Dees. Also, George is the best! He has helped me a ton on improving my grass and he has saved me so much $$$ on guiding me on my land scapi g instead of paying someone else to do it. Great Store! My family and I are there every other weekend in the Spring to purchase plants and seek advice. The staff are always eager to help and their information is valuable. The front checkout is friendly, easy, and quick. Their prices may be a bit high, but running that operation, plus the amount of information and assistance they offer, it is worth it.

Recently I was given a 100 .00 $gift certificate from sister . They would not honor the certificate because it was a sale day and they would lose my net . I told them my sister paid full cash for it . They still said no . I spoke to my sister and she verified to me that she spent 100$ for 100$ . I’ve been going there for 30 years . I love the staff but that move forces me to go to other nurseries. If my sister would have handed me the same hundred I could have spent it t regardless of that bogus excuse . I will shop elsewhere and so will my family and friends .I was contacted right away by Joe D . Joe immediately took care of the problem and informed the staff of the correct policy . I went back and everything was perfect . Thank You Joe 👍

Husband and I shop at Dees frequently due to their high quality plants, decor and super friendly staff. Great experience again today and bought more than I planned plus pleasantly surprised by the Christmas discount!

Great place to shop - however keep a tab of everything they charge you for - I was charged about 20 bucks more than I should have been for seeds and soil,… my itemized receipt says “taxable t1” for every item - which were not scanned, they had a very nice gentleman assisting the cashier and calling out every item as it came through,… so even if I go back, how could they tell what I specifically overpaid for? I know I overpaid for a fact because I counted exactly 10 items purchased, yet I was charged for 15… seeing as how I already left and I literally bought seed packets how are they going to verify how much I purchased without an itemized list? Anyway I’ll probably purchase here again but scrutinize every single charge and not be so damn naive next time I’m in line, with a toddler screaming in my ear.

99 percent of the time, they have what you need.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Even the kids that they hire to schlep the large items to your car are pilite.

They also do a lot of nice things for the community...Easter petting zoo, fall harvest fun, etc.

More pricey than big box stores, but you truly get what you pay for here.

My husband and I have been customers for several years. We always look forward to shopping there but I had the most awful experience yesterday, and was treated with such complete and utter disrespect ( I think one of the owners). We are never going back! Plants are beautifully kept but customers are treated horribly. There are many other places with great options and much better customer service.

Don't go here. Bad experience. Talk about a Rip Off. They actually charged more than the sticker price. Plus credit card premium. By the time I realized what happened I tried to return. They said all sales are final. I used to want small businesses like this to succeed. But now because of greedy places like this I don't know

The best nursery I go there all the time ! The flowers and the house plants are amazing . They are super nice and help you with anything you need .

came in to buy a pumpkin,..didn't know which to choose, crazy selection,..had lots of Halloween decorations, a pony ride, couple farm animals to pet, a corn maze, and even a "scarry" walk through..great for kids too..lol

Lived in Oceanside the first few years of
our lives, moved away to Seaford.
I rarely visit Oceanside now.
But I was dying to go back to Nathan’s,
of all places.
While there, Remembering Dee’s
Nursery is there also.
As I have been dreaming of a
Live Christmas Tree all year.
(The places by us were no help in my venture.)
So drove to Dees Nursery.
Went inside and was so impressed with how big the place was, all their Halloween decor & then walking around I saw signs of Christmas in the works.

As I got to the end.
The man I dealt with, made the choice very easy for me & Made my day also.
Totally impressed with the tree, I was shown Just had to have it.

Bought myself a few plants (a small fig, a string of hearts, and one that looked great but I forgot the name) a few weeks ago, they're all extremely healthy and doing great. The plants were fairly priced, as were the pots I bought for them. Got potting soil and drainage pebbles for a very good price. For the ceramic pots, maybe they were a bit more expensive than I would have expected, but quality costs and I'm confident they'll last many, many years.

I just had the most horrible experience with Dees nursery. I purchased 11 trees from them this week and ordered them for delivery of my house. One of the trees in my order got mixed up, which is understandable. I called and respectfully let them know that they sent me the wrong tree, hoping to come to a resolution. TOM called me back, and immediately had a horrible nasty tone, blaming me for his mistake. He said that I chose the tree (which i did not choose) and that his employees said that i said things i did not say. He cut me off, didnt let me finish a sentence, and threatened to hang up on me when i was processing what he said. I have never dealt with such awful customer service. Cannot recommend. Also, the woman who checked me out was rude, and i am left with a really bad feeling after making such a large investment with this company.

For the perfect plant or flowers, this is the place! Employees are always nice and helpful.

I love shopping at local places so stopped by Dee's to get some plants. Be careful when you shop here! The sign by the plant said one price and when I went to the register it was more expensive and when I asked the cashier to confirm the price they wouldn't and said I was wrong. Definitely not the customer service I expected.

UPDATE: I had the chance to speak with Joe the owner who acknowledged the mistake and apologized. We are all human so mistakes happen but the response showed the kind of person he is. I'll definitely give Dee's another try!

It was horrible experience, I called before I drove to Oceanside & asked about a certain plant .I didn’t want a flat of 50 & I was told they had flats of 25 or 36 great & when I arrived they only had flats of 50 for $49.99. I tried to find someone to talk to, finally a women came out & told me that she was the one who I spoke with & that I misunderstood, I told her no I’m very clear. I asked for the name of her supervisor & she told me look it up on the website. & then I ‘m going to escort you out. I found someone else who thought he was going to intimidate me. I left in desperation & will never go back. My advise go to HICKS in Westbury, this would never have happened.

They overprice most plants, often almost double what other places charge. Make sure to compare prices with other sellers. Strict No return or exchange policies!

Great nursery with cute seasonal decor. When I went (during late summer) they sell delicious fresh corn.
