He even took pictures of key things to show me and make the visit inclusive and transparent. I’m glad to have Thermodynamix as the company backing me for my central AC and heating.

I cannot recommend Thermodynamix more highly! Our heat completely stopped working, so we decided to call them after reading their wonderful reviews and we are so glad we did. Our technician Chris was amazing! He diagnosed the problem very quickly, and was able to get parts and repair our furnace same-day. He also replaced our outdated thermostats and helped me set up the app to control them from my phone/Alexa. He’s such a nice guy, and I appreciated his expertise. We made another call after-hours with a question a few days later, and received a call back right away from another gentleman who was equally as kind and helpful. We’re so impressed with the stellar service all around. Thermodynamix will definitely be our HVAC company from here on out!

Everything with my recent service appointment was great. It was easy to schedule, and the technician (Jimmy) was prompt and did a very thorough job. Thus far all my experiences with Thermodynamix, from regular maintenance calls to repairs, have been excellent. Highly recommend them.

I recently bought a townhouse in Dobbs Ferry which has a three zone HVAC system that was under a maintenance contract with a large company. Unfortunately the three zones were functioning as one because all three dampers were shot. I'm surprised the previous owners and the other company didn't notice this, plus there were some other quirks with the system that needed to be addressed. Rich came over very quickly after I contacted him to assess the situation and diagnose the problems. He found two of the three dampers in the basement, but the third damper was in the unfinished attic and required a return visit (this time with Jimmy) with a taller ladder. It was so hot and awful up there, but Jimmy cheerfully found the damper, took the measurements and the parts were ordered. A few days later I had an appointment with Chris to replace all the dampers and adjust some of the other issues, he was so professional, kind and respectful about moving through the house and not tracking dirt. I now have a fabulous three zone HVAC system!

Thank you Rich, James and Chris for a job well done, and I even had fun with the experience. And thank you to Danielle at the office for coordinating everything. I will be using Thermodynamix for my maintenance contract going forward, I like having the personal service of a family business that has my back.

The motherboard for my Mitsubishi mini-splits failed after many years. Thermodynamix quickly scheduled an appointment, found the issue immediately, ordered the part and installed it rapidly. Wonderful service, fair price. David, their technician, is top notch. Based on my experience, I heartedly recommend them.

We had a great experience with Kevin from Thermodynamix. He had to do some real problem solving but was able to fix my heat pump. I really was impressed when he said that he always tries to look at each job as if he were the customer himself so that he can provide the best result possible.

I renovated my home and replaced a 35 year old gas boiler with Mitsubishi mini-splits . I got several bids and chose Thermodynamix-similar pricing to others and they handled the paperwork for the rebates. I chose them because they (very) patiently answered all my questions and I felt very confident in their judgment and their answers. I never felt pressured, though I did from a few other companies. My decision to work with them paid off-they made excellent recommendations, built a great system, did a wonderful job and 5 months later they are still concerned about my comfort level and my happiness with the units and their service-they have worked tirelessly with the city and the seemingly never ending round of permit questions and follow up. I highly recommend them - Through the renovations I have of course run into some contractor difficulties - but I know I can always count on Thermodynamix and that is a huge relief given the importance of the heating and air systems.

Thermodynamix has replaced several components of my HVAC and hot water system and provided annual maintenance. They are knowledgeable and professional and their prices are fair and reasonable. Scheduling appointments is easy and I never have to wait long for service. Additionally, their technicians are exceptionally neat and clean, which I appreciate.

My AC stoped working, and from the moment I called this company, the customer service was great! Danielle answered the phone and quickly set up an appointment so I can have a technician be at my house the same day! Kevin arrived and was very polite, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. He immediatly fixed the issue and had my AC up and running fairly quickly. I highly recommend this company!

Jimmy from Thermodynamix serviced my unit as a scheduled maintenance call and did a thorough inspection of my A/C yesterday. This is a few weeks after a service call when Chris from Thermodynamix had come to restore my broken A/C on a record hot day.
Over the past three years I have had leaks in this new unit. Other contractors had come before Thermodynamix and only temporarily fixed what had become a very uncomfortable , expensive and recurrent problem. In my previous review I explained how Chris quickly ascertained and fixed the leak. And now Jimmy confirmed that fix by measuring that there has been no leak of refrigerant since that last service a few weeks before. I would like to add that the level of professionalism pervades every point of contact I have had with Thermodynamix including ease of making and keeping appointments with Danielle. Jimmy and Chris are both very experienced, quick, knowledgeable and courteous . They both explained everything in both detail and broad terms. I have and will continue to recommend them to family and friends. Huge difference from treatment from other contractors

Everything was professional from the start of the install to finish. There were some issues that came up after the install and they handled it perfectly. I will definitely recommend Thermodynamix to anyone else needing AC work done.

I am extremely happy with the work Thermodynamix did. In two days, they removed my 40 year-old furnace and AC unit. The father and son technicians, Alberto and Alberto Junior, are professional, courteous, and respectful. The Comfort Advisor, Tony, explained in depth and kept you informed. Thermodynamix LLC has been servicing my HVAC system for years. They show up on time for your appointment, all very friendly and polite . Recently I had my air ducts cleaned by this company and I can’t say enough good things about the team that showed up. They did a fabulous job.

Called to ask a simple question - first lady apparently lied to me, transferred me to some jerk who couldn't even take 5 seconds to listen to my question and then hung up on me. They say they handle radiant heating, but then the last guy I spoke to said they didn't. Maybe they don't even know what they do over there, but very rude customer service. Definitely would not do business with or recommend doing business with.

It's hard to imagine modern life without heating or cooling, and you can trust Thermodynamix to keep your HVAC in top shape. The process of evaluating and installing heat pumps is complicated, and I got bids from 5 different companies before choosing Thermodynamix. They were cost-efficient, communicated patiently and clearly at every visit, and went out of their way to obtain state rebates for a system that other companies said could not be obtained.

They came out a few times after installation to check on the system, and I am glad to pay them for annual service to have the peace of mind that everything is working like it's supposed to.
