had a pair of furnace, a/c coil, outdoor unit changed. overall i hope its a good work done but i wouldnt know that as a consumer.

just like any other companies, big guys come in the beginning, and their junior staffs come and do all. when junior staffs were finished, no one came to check their work but was told by them that tubes that comes off the furnaces need to be insulated and left plus with heated air leaking thru galvanized pipes. That was this past Friday.

then the sales rep called the same day, asked for remaining balance to be paid before they finish up insulating with bubbles and tapes where air was leaking through sheet metal pipes that comes off the furnaces. His reasoning was that the installation staffs do not carry those in the truck which sounded weird.

Sales person came today, tuesday. the first thing he says before he finishes aforementioned stuff to be done, that we needed to pay. We insisted that this needs to be done beforehand. Then, he started finishing up the work, ran out of tape couldnt finish, and asked us to pay again stating it is their policy.

He was told why cant you come back with more tapes and finish before i pay, if you were coming back today. He said might not be able to come back today.

I told him i cant pay the balance.

He came back after 30minutes and finshed the job and he got paid. I am not sure if I gave him the impression that i cannot afford 37k job but It was an interesting experience overall.

This review is for pricing only. They're prices are out of the stratosphere. I got a price of close to 40k for central AC in a 1700sq ft house. This is for the lower end Mitsubishi, not the hyper heat ones. I have a house upstate that is 1000sq ft larger and I got it done for 26k and that was with the hyper heat Mitsubishi units. Ultimately I got a bunch of realistic quotes of 15-20k from several other companies. Do yourself a favor and get installation prices elsewhere

Extremely knowledgeable diagnosticians. They were able to figure out my issue with a burner over the phone and help me get it up and running. Highly recommend giving them a call for your heating and cooling needs.

Jimmy came out to service all of my outdoor condensers and the indoor unit. He was right on time, very professional, and took the time to explain everything he was doing in a way that made sense. Super informative, thorough, and you can tell he really knows his stuff. Great experience overall and I’ll definitely use them again.

5-star service on installing a new American Standard 4 Ton Silver 14 R-454B Air Conditioner (Condenser, Evaporator Coil, Thermostat, Condensate Pump, Air Filtering System). Plus removal and disposal of the old equipment and reclaiming the refrigerant. All was done in one day with care and respect for property. They didn't leave before everything was working properly. I recommend Rich and his company without hesitation!

The team was very responsive and came on site quickly to provide a quote and to schedule the install of two new HVAC units. The install team and post-install experience was just okay. They installed the power line against the unit (totally avoidable), to their credit had someone come out the next day to fix it. They also fixed a fuse that broke on the day of the install in another unit. The install team, however, removed a piece of trim in order to access the unit and only later told us they could not put it back and that it wasn't a job they were equipped to do. Small headache and cost after the fact. All very quick to request payment after the install - texts/calls, etc. and seemed more interested at that point in payment than making everything was okay so I didn't want to fight it.

AMENDMENT: Fast-forward to the Fall - our heating wasn't working and had an HVAC team come out. Turns out the Thermodynamix team criss-crossed the wires when installing the unit so another $400 to fix their error. Annoying. The installation team was clearly inexperienced or didn't care enough to provide high-quality service. In light of this, I unfortunately cannot advise that others use them for service.

Angel and Luis went above and beyond in cleaning our ducts. They took before and after photos, carefully cleaned every ceiling vent and cleaned up perfectly afterwards. I am so glad we did this work and highly recommend Thermodynamics!

Rich and his team at Thermodynamix did a great job right from the beginning to the very end. We upgraded an older Mitsubishi ductless AC system with two new outdoor condensers and three wall units. While it is too early to say at the time of writing (March) how effective the cooling will be, I have every confidence we will have a much more efficient system. Rich gave us an estimate on a Thursday and the installers began work the following Monday and finished by midday Wednesday. In doing so, we were able to launch the project just before a significant price increase for Mitsubishi equipment went into effect. Thank you to everyone at Thermodynamix - and for making the whole process as convenient as possible.
