I recently hired County Chimney to inspect and sweep and my chimney, and I couldn't be more disappointed with their service and customer service. From start to finish, it was a complete nightmare.

First of all, their customer service was abysmal. The inspection took 2min to recommend a $2,700 repair. When asked to explain the process and reason for the needed repair, they were not able to explain.

Since they were there, I agreed to pay for 2 chimney sweep. To make matters worse, they employee asked if I had garbage bags so he can use to clean the chimney. Since I didn't, they left all the ash on my trash bin outside.

But the worst part was when I requested certificate of insurances they got irritated because I would not write a check without it.

I would strongly advise against hiring County Chimney Of Westchester. Their lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and subpar work make them a terrible choice for chimney services. I regret ever engaging their services and would not recommend them to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and look for a more reputable chimney company.

My chimney was in need of serious repair. Catherine and her team did an excellent job and they even did some roof repair while they were at it to make sure I didn’t have any leaks. My chimney looks like new. Great work at a fair price. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out and I would definitely recommend using County Chimney Westchester.

Richard from Benzvac came out and did a great job. He cleaned out the dryer vent, air duct vents and did a full furnace cleaning. On time and professional. Took his time to make sure everything was perfect.

The service was great! They showed up, told me what they would do and got to work. They were done fairly quickly and their prices are better than other vendors. I will definitely be using them again next year for another duct cleaning.

BAIT-AND-SWITCH SCAM.
BAIT: Contracted with Robison Oil to replace two gas boilers with two new more efficient, gas, tankless, combi, condensing boilers for $39,790.00.
SWITCH: Robison deviated from the contract and installed two old, used, illegal, tank, electric water heaters instead of installing two combi boilers.
SCAM: Robison sent me an invoice and email falsely claiming that the installation of the boilers was completed and per the contract the balance of $19,895.00 was due. We still do not have heat or hot water.

This has to be one of the worst companies to buy home heating oil. Their bio heating oil price this morning was $4.41. When look at the comparison heating fuel dashboard for the state of New York, it currently shows prices between $3.41 and $3.53 in the area. I am actively looking at other heating services, because I am tired of Robison heating oil prices because the price gouge their customers. It is absolutely ridiculous the prices they charge compared to other heating companies.

The team that did the install was awesome. They arrived on time, were neat and professional. Respectful of our space, floors, furniture etc. and did a great job inside and out. Friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. Thanks!

My oil tank was tagged as undeliverable by the tech who service the boiler earlier this year I approved the installation of a new tank 8/7 and today I have not been able secure even an appointment to start the work I have reached numerous times all I get is a promise of a call back which has not happened

I was extremely disappointed with Robison's service. On April 10, 2025, I discovered my oil tank was nearly empty and called to ask why no delivery had been made. I was told that automatic delivery had been paused due to a $360 balance from a February 25, 2025, delivery, which I had inadvertently overlooked.

Instead of contacting me by phone or email to alert me of the credit hold, Robison allowed the tank to run dry. As a result, my household was without heat for two days in 30-degree weather before they finally refilled the tank.

To make matters worse, they also wanted to charge me hundreds of dollars for priming and restarting the boiler after the oil had run dry—something that could have been entirely avoided with a simple courtesy notice.

It’s unacceptable that no warning was provided—especially during the heating season. This kind of oversight is not just poor customer service; it also violates New York State regulations, which require written notice before suspending heating oil deliveries during the heating season (Nov. 1 to April 15).

On the other hand, Robison seemed oddly lenient with themselves: during the 2024 holidays, they failed to deliver oil on time, causing a large number of houses in the area—including mine—to run out of oil and go without heat for several days in the middle of winter. This lapse illustrates that they are not competent to run a utility company.

Would you trust Robison to keep your home safe and warm? Think twice.
