Blackmon-Farrell is Rochester's Electrical Contractor. Even though they are closely intertwined with projects in the Flower City, they've expanded their reach, and we recently helped with storage as far as Alfred, NY. They are the hardest-working people in the business, and they will never let you know when you call upon them for a job. In the late afternoon of 1/30/26 in Webster, a Blackmon Farrell pickup truck ran a stop sign and pulled out in front of me during slippery conditions. Because of your employee’s reckless driving, I was forced to hit the breaks suddenly, and nearly went off the road, as your employee laughed and continued driving about 55 in a 35. What kind of lowlives does Blackmon Farrell hire?

I was on Rt 146 heading towards Scotia NY on a two lane road. I see a car turning toward the left turn lane at a light, at an intersection. I suddenly see a van race to pull ahead if car turning, it narrowly missed my vehicle!!!! I did call a man was very emphatic. The licence plate appeared to have mc at the end and a 7 I believe on the plate. It made the left turn going towards Balltown Rd in Schenectady!!!!! Absolute dangerous move, if the electric work is like his driving……BEWARE!!!! This was around 3:16 pm on a Wednesday afternoon

We used Hewitt Young Electric for an extensive electrical and data wiring project. They were punctual, knowledgeable and thorough. Their field reps were polite, organized and professional. We primarily dealt with their field rep Tom Fixsen and he was outstanding and responsive. 5 stars.

Chuck came to my house after hours and fixed a 4 gang box and installed 3 new switches. I couldn't have been more happier with his service. He was very professional, pick up after the work was completed and pricing was more than fair. I highly recommend him!

Greg, "The Manager" got an attitude and started yelling at someone in the parking lot. If you are in charge, control your emotions and learn how to calm a situation.

They installed a light above our sink on Victor. Terrible job. Drywall dust all over. Didn't cover their shoes, and its not even straight. Then, the guy and his manger got an attitude.
