We had just moved into a new home and there was some shady wiring of a tv. They fixed it and installed a ceiling light for us. Service was great and very professional.

Canal Town Electric has done two jobs for me and at this point I would not consider using anyone else in the future. They show up on time, work efficiently, and charge a fair price with no surprises. What more could you ask for?

The guys are professional, polite, show up on time, absolutely know what they are doing. I trust them being in my home and I'm very glad that they were recommended to me. I recommend them without reservation to anyone looking for excellent electricians.

My initial experience was great. Nice individual worked to get me schedule the next day. I called the next day to cancel my request and was met with the complete opposite. A sly laugh, and then hung-up on. Very bitter taste in my mouth. I then received a call back from the same gentleman who was irritated that I tried to do what I was doing as his men were already doing work on my house (I was at work). Conversation ended on a slightly higher note but the manner in which this was handled was poor. I tried to split the different of a 1 and a 5 (2.5) which rounds up to a 3 here in favor of CTE. Won't use again.

Canal Town Electric installed the Tesla Wall Charger for us. Eric and Shawn are very capable, honest, and responsive.

Great experience working with Eric and Sean - were able to quickly respond to an urgent request, were thorough in troubleshooting and resolution, and reasonably priced for the expertise they bring.

Don't use these guys!!! We had an issue and they agreed to $125 refund. A month later I called them back seeking the refund. The manager was surprised the "owner" did not refund my money. Then he got into this tirade about how I did not deserve the money and started yelling at me on the phone. He hung up. I called back and he asked and hung up like a child. I called back a few days later and he was calm and agreed to pay the money. No money again. I called again and he said the "owner" said no. The electrician did a fine job, but the "owner" (who never speaks and cannot be spoken to) and the manager are the worst.

Outstanding experience today. Team was responsive to our feedback and made adjustments to ensure we were satisfied with the quality of their work. Wouldn't hesitate to work with them again!

I got a whole new service in my historic home. I can't say enough wonderful things about this company, their owner and crew. Everyone was professional, accurate, on time, in budget. No surprises!! I love these guys! I am so glad to have found them.

We have been working with Canal Town for over a decade. They have helped us with lots of small and large projects over the years. Whether it was an outlet, lighting, new panel, or even an outside outlet for a hot tub. They are always efficient, courteous, fair, and the site looks great when they leave.

Had Jacob and Joey at my house they did an excellent job. Very happy with the service and will be using tambe in the future

The Canal Town Electric team was incredibly responsive and professional. Answered my call on the first attempt and even managed to get me in earlier than my originally scheduled appointment. The tech diagnosed and fixed the problem in under an hour and for a very fair price. Thanks again Eric and Brandon!

If you need an electrician, look no further. We recently just remodeled our entire house and they were by the far the easiest and best contractors we worked with. They were easy to schedule with, always showed up when they said they would, and came back many many times in order to finish the job. We ended up adding on many things, which they did with no problems. Very professional and friendly. We even had an issue with our tv wire and they came back after the job was done to fix it and refunded us the money for it. Can’t say enough good things!

Eric and his team have done a lot of electrical work over the years at our house. They have always done a great job fitting us into their busy schedule in a timely manner and the quality of their work is great.

I had a new 4-prong outlet put in for an induction range, and a couple other things. I'm very happy with the results and will definitely call them in the future when I need more work done. Very professional and efficient. Thanks!

Great experience with Canal Town Election, which was recommended by our handyman. Were able to come earlier than scheduled due to a cancelation, and managed to figure out a problem that had eluded a previous electrician, and fix it. Reasonable price for the time he spent here, and super nice guy! Would definitely use them again.

My mother and I have used Canal Town for many jobs in the past and they have always been great. Most recently, they installed some exterior lighting at my home and we were very happy with the results. They were priced reasonably and provided a very professional installation, as always!

Canal town has done significant work on our 72 year old house. Always great, professional, timely and great work. This time, I called the day we bought our Leaf. Two days later the level 2 charger is in!!!! 💕💕💕

EDIT: Once again, Eric and his team absolutely crushed it when I had an urgent need for electrician services at my house. I was having some trouble with landscape lighting and had some concerns about the weathering and age of an old outdoor outlet, and within literally 1 business day, Eric was able to send one of his electricians to come look at it. The investigation, repairs, and upgrade completed were nothing short of stellar work (including the look - it looks amazing!) and I couldn't be happier -- truly there's no other electrician in Rochester I'd ever want to call -- the responsiveness, friendliness, care given, and quality of work is unmatched and I'm so glad I can keep Canal Town Electric in mind for any future electrical needs

I just had an unbelievably amazing experience with Eric (the owner) and Dean from Canal Town Electric today! I was looking to replace a light switch with a dimmer switch, install 4 new recessed/disc ceiling lights and to remove a ceiling light completely, and their work works and looks phenomenal! Eric and Dean were amazing throughout the entire process from the initial phone calls to the arrival to the extreme professionalism and high quality of their work, and my office has never looked better! The ceiling lights are perfectly placed, the dimmer works magically, and the light is exactly what I was hoping for!

Absolutely will be calling them again, can't imagine a better team of electricians in all of Rochester!

Eric and the rest of his team were extremely responsive, informative and helpful with any suggestions during our install of laundry outlets/connections in our new home. They were able to wire lights in the laundry area to be responsive to one central switch, extremely helpful and something we couldn't have done ourselves. They also helped us fixing a few faulty outlets throughout our home, and we love the new USB/power outlet they installed on our kitchen island! Happy to recommend them to anyone with complete confidence! especially as a new homeowner-- they made life easy! Thanks guys!
