At one point in time Id come here as a peaceful paying customer that wouldnt hassle anybody, was respectful to employees, paid whatever was asked without stating who I am, how I advertise/ recommend you to people or asking for major discounts. Unfortunately one of your employees was so insufferable to deal with as a customer I will never be back in this store ever again nor would I ever recommend anybody to shop here. Green Acres is a cheaper, much better experience without the entitled employees acting all high and mighty. Garden Factory has better stock without sitting on their high horse.

Great bundle deal, straw bale,pumpkin,mum and corn stalk all for $21.99!! Oh and the rain barrel made there a few years back😊😊

So I called this morning asking if they had any hydrangeas in stock. The woman on the phone was extremely curt and rude! She answered my questions with one word and offered no help whatsoever and hung up on me. What! After going to two other nurseries I ended up buying the hydrangea at Van Putte because it was the right size and a beautiful plant. Thus the two stars. When I cashed out, the woman at the counter had the personality of a stone and instead of her thanking me I thanked her! Their stock is beautiful but their customer service leaves a lot to be desired!

We had landscaping done with Van Putte about two and a half years ago. The entire staff was wonderful from the estimate to the install. Jim helped us find the right plants for our aesthetic and lifestyle. Our house looked wonderful! For some reason, this season several of our plants did not come back and Jim came out to evaluate the situation. Today, the plants were replaced and look beautiful! If you want a stress-free experience with great customer service and gorgeous landscaping, I highly recommend Van Putte Garden Center.

Recently built a new home and I used Van Putte for all my landscaping as well as installation of the lawn. They went above and beyond my expectations. My lawn is completely full after only 8 short weeks. The attention to detail throughout the whole process was amazing. Would recommend them to anyone and will definitely be using them next year for additional landscaping!

I’m hesitant about posting before and after pictures simply because of how much of an absolute mess our front yard was but after telling my dental hygienist about my amazing results (if that doesn’t sum up my excitement and satisfaction that I’m going around and literally telling everyone) she insisted I display it because it looks like a completely different home. Now back to my review on how much we love the job that was completed. Tony came out last fall and drew up an entire landscape design. Everything was perfect. We decided it would be wise to put down a down payment early this year to be scheduled for early spring. It took two days to remove stones, a forest of weeds, a dying cherry tree, edge the garden, place boarder down which was a pleasant surprise because I didn’t know they’d install a brand new one, topsoil, grade it perfectly from the house, plant an impressive amount of shrubs and bushes and mulch. Two days.... Tony was here daily checking in with us and his crew. They all worked as a team and they were all kind and extremely hardworking. No waste, mess or anything left out of place. We couldn’t be happier with the entire experience.

My favorite nursery in the Rochester area. Purchased six love a lot hydrangeas for the north side of my house and all are thriving. Great customer service and love the labeling of plants with information on soil and sun needs.

Seth, Jeff, & Ivan did a fantastic job with updating my 23 year old landscaping. From the new boulder retaining wall to the new landscaping mulch and clean up, I couldn’t be happier and getting lots of compliments! Always happy to refer Vanputte!

I bought a flowering dogwood tree, delivered and installed. The buying experience at the store went very smoothly. The installation was done very well and the tree looks great. My criticism is lack of communication; the time frame was 8am to noon. By 1:30pm, I called the store. They touched base with their crew and called back to say "..it should be about 2:30 as I was last on the list." Well this must have been known and could have been communicated to me. I could have done something else with my morning other than wait and wonder.

Have bought many plants, shrubs and flowers over the years. Great selection with competitive prices. Most recently got some more Hasta's, Bee Balm and cedar mulch. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. My local small business place to go in Greece for all my gardening and landscaping supplies and questions.

Lots of plants for gardening.
I came here on Saturday and it was somewhat busy. Front parking lot was almost full. They also have a side parking lot, just a tiny bit farther. They have large variety of plants and tree for outdoor and some for indoor, and supplies for gardening. I won’t say they have the cheapest price but also not the highest compared to other nurseries. Staffs are friendly and always asks if I need help

They did an awesome job installing the landscaping around my pool. Nicole the designer was great to work with, patient with me while I was indecisive. Carlos and his team were hard workers in the exhausting heat. Ultimately I am very pleased and would highly recommend.

They have a huge range for beginners as well as green fingered experts. They literally have what your heart desires. We went in for plants and ended up purchasing a tree!
