Great service. Would recommend for anyone either not able to or just dont like doing it themselves. Super competitive pricing with excellent customer service equals satisfied me.

The mowing done was very choppy and poor quality they said they would send someone to fix it but they came and said it was fine and left. I'm cancelling my service.

Requested a grass height and was cut exactly to the height, edging done clean.

James does a really nice job. He made sure my dogs were safe by letting me know he was in my area and to keep them out of the yard.

DeShawn was wonderful! After experiencing random cancelations from other providers, DeShawn helped save the day! Did a wonderful job mowing and was extremely friendly. I hope he remains our provider!

The person Lawn Starter had get in touch with us shouldn’t be in the business. From the very first communication it’s been nothing but excuses. My lawn is still not mowed & I’m sure I will be charged extra for the height from the next company I call.
Lawn Starter sent a survey without knowing any of the above. Once they were told I’ve heard nothing. Not too happy!!

I don't think the rating system is calibrated properly. The rating system does not take into account some intricate details. Therefore, someone could be low rated and receive less assignments because certain variables are not put in place. Other than that, it's a great app.

My lawn was overgrown because of drainage issues Chad did a great job cleaning up the yard and making it manageable for me

I am very pleased with the service I have received from James at LawnStarter. Not only did James do an excellent job mowing and weed eating, he also moved my patio furniture and replaced it after the service. I highly recommend James and LawnStarter.

I worked with this company for a total of 3 weeks and had numerous issues. The mowers were always days late or cancelling jobs entirely. When they did show up, they were unprepared because the main office was not providing accurate information to the mowers about what needed to be done. The one time my lawn was mowed, it was done very poorly.

LawnStarter has done a fantastic job to my property. I couldn’t depend on ANY of the previous independent people who “cared” for the yard. Previous folks would show up whenever they wanted, would not be thorough in their work, but still expected me to pay them for a less than adequate job done. Very pleased with LS and Abuelino’s work! I highly recommend to all!

I have been looking for a lawn service for about a year and found LawnStarter on Next door. They are very professional. My yard looks really great and they trimmed down bushes and did some tree service for me as well. Michael made sure to contact me about not being able to service my yard and then followed up the next day with the yard service. Thank you for the great service , it is greatly appreciated

I was in dire need of lawn service and they immediately booked an appointment with me. The guys showed up and worked hard and my yard is soooo much better!

Not a good rating system. The best of the best will rank lower for simply being organized. You also get dinged for rescheduling on rainy days. Again the professionals concerned about quality and organization will get lower score.

Update. Continues to be a trashy Avenue for professionals. They do payment reversal without communication. They also allow abusive customers to rip you off if you’re not careful.

I like that it does streamline extra work simple as that, it's even fairly contact free for those who just want jobs and not to always deal with a customer but the app can be a bit buggy at times and I think the scheduling could be more flexible like offering jobs a couple days ahead instead of same day so we are constantly hurting our score when we schedule things overall it gives me what I expected but could tie up some ends.

this was the first time the mowing was done, and he did a great job, even not being familiar with my property. he figured out where the places to mow were and the places to leave the plantings and gardens .
