Clark and his crew have done several large tree pruning and removal jobs in my yard. They are always very nice and professional and clean everything up so you would never even know they were there. I recently hired KD Rochester Tree Service for some much-needed tree trimming and removal on my property. Overall, I was pleased with their service. The team was professional, skilled, and efficient in handling the tree removal and cleanup. The yard looks much tidier and safer now. However, there was a minor issue with scheduling, as they arrived later than expected. Despite this, the quality of their work and their friendly attitude more than made up for the delay. I would recommend KD Rochester Tree Service for their expertise and dedication to customer satisfaction.

We had KD Rochester Tree Services work on tree removals and tree pruning at two of our properties. Their team arrived on schedule committed to us, completed the work well and to our satisfaction, and left the site clean. We have been very happy with their services. Their price for the work was the best in the market. We are planning to bring them next year for some more work.

I contracted with KD Tree Service to remove two large trees and grind the stumps. They gave a very competitive price. Overall, they did a good job. The work crew was friendly and professional.

I had a large limb break and was dangling above my house. I called Chris at KD; within an hour I had a quote, and within 24 hours his guys were at my house removing it. I conveyed the urgency to Chris and he delivered immediately. Chris was pleasant and thorough in all communications, and his guys were prompt, courteous, and did a perfect job. They cut it down, chopped it up, and hauled it away without any sign they were there. I couldn’t recommend them enough.

Installed a timber retaining wall and regraded our backyard to level it off. They did a great job! They brought in dirt, leveled it and seeded it. They showed up when they said they would and completed the project within the requested timeframe. I would definitely recommend them and I will use them again!

I had 8 ash trees removed from my back yard. 4 of them were quite large and took quite a bit of work. The crew worked very hard and in very hot weather.
I spoke with them beforehand about using ropes to ease the limbs down but they seemed to ignore that request and were dropping several large limbs / logs down from the top of the lift leaving dozens of divots in my yard. They also dropped one down on to my yard cart which smashed it into pieces but they did end up crediting me $50 for that.

We are still upset, however, that they completely eliminated about a 7ft wide, 15ft high portion of the privacy shrubs / smaller trees we had in our back yard and didn’t offer us any type of resolution other than that they appreciated our patience and everything should grow back in a few weeks which simply isn't going to happen. I spoke with them beforehand about keeping these intact as much as possible. They said they would have to trim some of them back but would be mindful about not doing too much which I was okay with thinking that trimming meant that they would grow back sometime soon.

Unfortunately, they completely disregarded my concerns and cut the main privacy tree in that area to a point where it will take years to grow back if it doesn’t end up dying. They also cut / broke several other limbs to get to the lower portion of the ash tree that was back there. I had previously tied off the shrubs / branches so that the lower part of the tree they needed to cut was accessible and was livid that they didn’t talk to us before clearing out such a large space. Now we have a huge gap in our shrubs and basically have a giant window to our neighbor’s backyard.

They did, however, get all of the trees down at an affordable price so I am grateful for that. I do wish I went with Flower City Tree though since their quote was just a few hundred dollars more and they seemed to be more experienced with larger projects like this one.

The crew did a great job of trimming a silver maple and getting limbs away from over the house roof. When they were done they raked up the lawn and got the saw dust off the driveway and car. I would definitely recommend this company for any landscaping projects. Great job guys!

These professionals made my tree cutting and trimming work easy on me, every step of the way from scheduling the initial (free!) estimate to performing the actual work and cleanup. Also very pleasant, competitive and fair to deal with. Two thumbs way up!

I will recommend anyone needing a tree removal service to call KD Tree service or Rochester and I will use KD Tree service again for when I need another tree taken down again.
The guys who came to take down our tree did an incredible job. The tree was next to and partially hanging over our roof and also telephone wires. They had called us saying that they had some time and asked if it was ok to come that day which was about a week earlier than scheduled and it work out great for us too so we said yes.
The tree was taken down in my opinion quickly and with no issues. They left the wood behind per our request and they left the wood and branches stacked nicely where we had asked them to.
Very proud and happy with the results and the price they charged us.

Excellent services. Good equipments and machines for tree cutting. I liked their using Bobcat tractor and boom spider lift. Their arborist was highly skilled. They cut total 8 trees. Six trees were very next to my house and were 70-90 feet high. Their perfection of cutting trees is highly admired. They removed all cut pieces of all 8 trees. They cleaned my backward and side of house very well. They took away all big logs. Their services are excellent. I recommend KD services to others without any reservation. I would definitely call them again if I need tree services again.

Communication isn't great. I was told that the tree would be removed within 2-3 weeks, after 2 weeks I had to contact them for an ETA, they told me that they were coming in two days, not much notice. I took the day off and they never came, no communication that they weren't coming. I was told to contact the foreman, he said that he wasn't aware that they weren't coming today. I told him that if they didn't come the next day I wanted my deposit back. They came the next day and left the stump like the picture attached. I was planning to use the stump to put flower pots on it, couldn't do that with it like this. I contacted the foreman about it with no word. I contacted him again days later and he said oh so you want the stump ground down, I said no I want it cut straight across so that I can do something with it, he said that he'd contact his boss. Still no reply..
