We used Girl Plower for a large landscaping job, and they were great! Gina and her team were always very responsive, and very knowledgeable. Gina brought in a horticulturalist to help us plan what to keep, what to replace, and what to add; she had a tree service that she used to help us get some much needed tree removals done; and then she brought in a whole crew for the landscaping work. Our landscaping was basically completely redone, in a timely fashion, and looks amazing! The Girl Plower team left us with all the information we needed for successful maintenance, and have been back around to check on us since. We cannot recommend Girl Plower highly enough for all your landscaping needs!

Gina and her team were fabulous to work with! Their level of professionalism was top notch; I’ve never seen a crew work so hard and so well together. In one day they cleared out a large mess of pachysandra, weeds and invasives and replaced them with beautiful flowers that will fill in for a lush, native garden that’s good for pollinators.

I’d highly recommend Girl Plower for your lawn care and snow plowing needs. She’s professional, pays attention to detail, and does a great job every time! A great small business to support in the Rochester area!

Gina and he team did a fantastic job from quote, to conception, to the final product. She was always available and provided great insight and answers along the way. We even added an amazing stone wall at the last minute that really provided the perfect touch and elevated the final product. I can't say enough great things about Gina and her team!

In December 2024 we had half of our driveway removed to accommodate drilling of three wells for a geothermal HVAC system. The drilling team hit a considerable amount of water in the process and had to drill two extra holes due to faults in the bedrock. The result was 4 - 6 inches of pulverized slate and gravel spread throughout my yard and former driveway.

I contracted with Girl Plower based on reviews and word of mouth in the neighborhood. I was not disappointed. Communication with Gina was exceptional (the best experience I've had with any contractor). Gina predicted the job to start at the end of May or early June depending on the weather. Instead, I received a text on the 9th saying they would be doing the job on the 10th.

Gina and her team showed up in the morning and were pleasant and professional. Her team worked efficiently and completed the work much faster than expected. Considering what my yard looked like in December compared to now, Girl Plower is a God send. I highly recommend. Thanks so much for a job well done.

I had a wonderful experience with this plowing company today. They responded immediately to my online inquiry and were professional and communicative from the start. They were open to discussing terms and pricing, which I truly appreciated, and everything was handled quickly and efficiently.

What a great company!! My experience with Gena, the owner, was overwhelmingly positive. After a number of conversations and decisions about a plan, she expedited a landscape renewal for my son's city home. This task was no small challenge, but Gena executed it flawlessly, and was present and personally did most all the work for this project. She redid the entire backyard lawn. But her creativity shines with the front yard. She installed a cut stone retaining wall and a completely stone garden with patterns like rivers, dotted with stunning plantings--minimal upkeep for my son, and delightful beautification of the neighborhood. She also demonstrated her diplomatic skill in dealing with some critical neighbors. She and her crew went above and beyond. I highly recommend her for any outdoor needs.

JMF did a great job with a grading/seeding job at my home. Their communication was great, the price was fair, and the work was well done. We will use them again in the future!

Horrible. Have not cut the for two weeks now. They don't trim or cut the grass short enough. Worst company ever. Do not waste your money.

Just like the other person's review it starts off great an then when it comes down to the day the work needs to be done things change.
Also when you call or email good luck getting a call back, I've left 11 messages an still haven't recieved a call. I don't like giving bad reviews but I don't like unprofessional companies.

From the estimate, (we had many), Jason was very professional.
Wrote a very detailed proposal which he adhered to.
We are extremely satisfied with JMF's work.
Quick. efficient, and, very neat.
Needless to say they exceeded our expectations.
I highly recommend them.

My family has been a loyal customer for years but the quality of the work has gone significantly down. We just ask for a little mow on the side yard and front yard. Many times over the past few years they would only do one or the other and we would need to call to have someone come back out. This year, my family has called repeatedly, left messages or told we will get a call back and NOTHING! This is an unreliable company with less than par work leaving 2 disabled seniors (veteran) in the lurch.

I had JMF landscaping come out and clean out some trees, trim and mulch. Logan and Steve were efficient and did a great job!

We spoke to Jason at JMF regarding some landscape work last Spring. Everything started off great, he was very professional and had great suggestions on how to improve the landscape in our backyard. During the installation in June, we had several issues including the following:
- New plants were planted just below the soil line with roots exposed and all died.
- Large boulder did not match the rest of the landscape boulders being installed - was told they would deliver a different one but never did
- Not enough mulch installed to cover the soil in the garden beds
- Yard was left full of holes and bare spots due to damage from their equipment
- My neighbors even complained to me about the shouting and foul language from the install crew (3 houses down the road could hear them swearing and yelling).

When bringing these issues up to the install crew, they were rude and said Jason would have to take care of it.

After multiple calls to JMF regarding these issues, we were told that Jason was on vacation and would come back to take a look once he was back from vacation. He never did and I had to repair all the yard damage myself. Additional calls and voicemails to JMF were not returned. I then received an invoice in October for more than the original estimate. I have since called numerous times and have been leaving voicemails but still no response. I informed JMF that I would be leaving a negative review about my experience, but they don't seem to care enough to return a phone call.
