Stay away!! A truck driver delivering top soil to a neighbor from this company backed out and damaged the break wall of my property and refuses to pay to repair the damage because the truck driver was just "following the directions of your neighbor". According to Doug (the owner of Clover), my neighbor directed the truck driver to back into the break wall so it's my neighbors fault, not the one driving the truck... Doug told me to file an insurance claim or have my neighbor pay for the damage. I am shocked that was their response.

I have been a customer for six years. Our driveway is double wide and they do a good job. I've asked the drivers for a little bit of "finishing" work a few times, and they've always complied. I've purchased trees and shrubs from them, and if the planting failed, they honored the replacements. The owners can seem standoffish, displaying more of a farmer personality than salesman, but they've been honest and straightforward in our dealings.

I had a very disappointing experience with Clover. We ordered a few yards of topsoil to be delivered onto a tarp on our yard (the tarp was placed within 2 feet of the road placed carefully to allow easy access for the truck). We specified several times to leave the soil on the tarp. I made sure someone was home in case they had any questions.

The driver dropped all the soil in the middle of my driveway directly on the pavement. He didn't ask questions or hesitate to block all our parking spaces. He just dumped it without calling /knocking, then left. When I called the owner he acknowledged that our order said to leave it on the tarp but he didn't have any solution. He said he'd call me back. He didn't. I called again. I was told he'd call me back. He didn't. I called again. I was told he would call me back. Finally he did but only to say it was my problem and there was nothing he could do about it. Now it's 85 degrees and I'm shoveling two yards of soil with a baby strapped to my chest because I can't safely park in the street overnight.

Also, this soil is very rocky. It is more like fill than topsoil.

Don't buy topsoil from clover.

Rob did a great job planting our maple tree! He was very particular as to the placing of it in our front yard and he cleaned up nicely. The price of the tree with delivery and planting was so much more reasonable then other places. I highly recommend Clover Lawn and Landscaping!

They have the best variety of plants and trees . I get my favorite plants from here

WHAT A TRANSFORMATION!

We finally decided to get our backyard the long awaited makeover it needed to utilize the space much better. I'd highly recommend Clover and so glad we chose them to help our backyard dreams come true!

We had extensive work which included a TON of demo. Their crew did an amazing job and they did it RIGHT. My quote included all the things we discussed during our consultation and once we pulled the trigger, Clover crew was able to start shortly thereafter.

Clover was always a email away when I had questions and they were flexible on a few changes throughout the process. Dealing with many contractors for various work throughout my home and I will say the good people will be busy. As long as you communicate things throughout your project, that's the key and Clover always was reachable and took care of everything we needed and really aims to please.

If you want quality beautiful work done at a reasonable price (who doesn't) then Clover is your team. Our neighbors are very impressed too. their work speaks for itself, we can't wait to host some parties and use our new backyard!

I can’t speak for this company’s work, but the rudeness I witnessed by them would prevent me from ever hiring them. I just moved to the area, and there was a heated exchange in front of my house with one of the workers (in his truck) and my neighbors. While I wasn’t involved, the employee was being argumentative and condescending to the neighbors. I would avoid this company as they have zero respect for their customers.

Very friendly and helpful. Lots of plants to choose from and a lot of landscaping supplies available by bag and by the yard.
Delivery is only $40 for a truckload ( ½ of what Home Depot charges)

Such a friendly place. The store cat, Richard and dog Isaac make visits extra special! Friendliest staff and most luscious selection of annuals, perennials and trees. Make sure you walk all the way to the back to see the full tree selection. It’s a lot bigger than it looks from the parking lot!

First time visiting. Huge selection of trees and shrubs. Lots of mature/large trees.

What a great hidden gem. I’ve grown up in Rochester and been a home owner for 30 years. This was my first visit to Clover. They have a ton of very well maintained and manicured plants, trees, bushes and sod. It’s a very casual operation and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended and we will be back.

Not true it is an apartment complex that does their own landscaping

I had DRDS Landscaping do the front flower bed. They weeded, put new mulch down, and planted some flowers. The price was reasonable. They did an outstanding job. Highly recommend!!

Had other services but Murphys is the best. On time, all the time. Very conscientious with a great attitude. Has great ideas for our yard and helped with the lawn and gardens.
