We had a very large silver maple tree, with difficult access, removed from our property. I obtained several estimates to do the job, 2 of which said they couldn’t do it. Peter Reininger, from Flower City Tree, gave me every confidence that they could do the job. Peter was very knowledgeable and informative and assured me that he along with his crew would be the ones doing the job, which made a difference to me. Flower City Tree gave me what I thought was a fair estimate, but it was Peter that gave me the confidence that they could do the job and they truly delivered. They did a great job! The whole crew was exceptionally hard working. They showed up bright and early, got start working right away and worked non-stop for 2 days till the job was finished. Everything was cleaned up and hauled away as they worked, you’d hardly know they were here. If I had to do it all over again, without hesitation I’d hire them again.

We've used Flower City several times now for tree removal services. We have a limited access backyard, so it's great that they have equipment that can fit back there.

Today we had Peter and crew remove a very tall oak that was starting to come down on its own. They did a fantastic job while working in 20 degree weather, from start to finish, including an amazing cleanup afterwards.

We'll happily use them again for future needs.

Flower City Tree did a great job pruning back some overgrown white pines and completely removing a dying blue spruce in our back yard.

It all started with their Arborist Liz, who I can't say enough good things about. She came out for a free estimate, where she examined all of our trees and provided us with expert advice on which trees needed to be pruned back and which trees should be removed. She provided us with an estimate that same day, which was very competitive.

A few days later, the team showed up at our house on time with all of the right equipment. Led by Tyler, they were very professional and courteous. The team was careful to protect our lawn and newly planted trees and made all the right pruning cuts as recommended by Liz. They cleaned up all debris and hauled it away. They were in and hour in about three hours.

I'll be recommending Flower City Tree to one of my neighbors and to a friend.

we had a very large tree (70 + feet) removed from our front yard today. The crew showed up ready to work, started with communicating with us. they worked quick but safely and efficiently. They took tremendous care that they did no unnecessary damage to the surroundings or the yard even going as far as fixing divot from branch drops. they used large plates and skids for the heavy equipment. When they were done, they did an awesome job cleaning up the yard, driveway and the road. I would recommend and hire them again without question.

We had 15 white pine trees to be removed by Flower City Tree. Trees were 100-120’ tall, top heavy with large canopy’s. Steve and his team did an outstanding job. Arrived on time, crew was very professional, state of the art equipment, organized and extremely safety conscious. The coordination of the ground crew, equipment operators and bucket operator, Pete making strategic cuts was masterful. Tree sections were 2500 pounds or more, cut, stacked and removed. Canopy’s, were mulched as they went along. All stumps ground below our lawn surface, everything raked, swept and clean up was great. I’d recommend them always.

Peter and his crew did a Great job removing our large maple tree. We are especially pleased that they were able to get the equipment through the gate into the fenced in back yard without damaging the lawn or fencing. As well the team was well organized and courteous. Thumbs up to them.

Flower City Tree quoted a fair price, were professional, worked with us on a few different tweaks to our estimate, and was able to complete a fairly large job in a single day. They were respectful of property and did a great job controlling limbs as they pruned and cut trees. Every employee interaction was polite. They had an efficient removal process using a wood chipper for smaller branches and left the larger trunk/limbs by the road in a neat pile, which they picked up a few days later. We opted not to stump grind, due to the tree’s location, but feel confident they would have done an excellent job with that process, along with reseeding if we went that route. Thanks again and we will be sure to give you a call in the future when the need arises.

Shaken awake at 4am is not a great way to start your Friday, an 18in wide limb had fallen onto the garage. Phone calls started around 8-9am and Andrew was on site assessing the case by 10am. He gave such a great quote, it was accepted by the insurance agent immediately and the check was cut. Originally scheduled for Monday, but he was able to get one of his teams onsite that day! By 2pm they were cutting it up and taking it down (still attached to the tree), by 4pm it was gone, almost like it never happened. The professionalism, courtesy and amazing job this team did are just another closed chapter in the life of this home, and a great story!

Shout out to the team: Dan, Damon, Jack and Andrew, who made it look so easy and did a great job of safely bringing the limb down, cleaning up, hauling the old limb away and even taking care of some branches that were out of control! Another bonus, the branches and leaves were taken to the Zoo to feed the Zebras! Truly, Thank You Guys!

Flower City Tree’s did an amazing job on trimming my backyard tree in preparation for solar panels to be installed. I received five quotes from competitive companies and Flower City had the most affordable option. I accepted the offer and within three days they had a team out to do the job for me. They cleaned up after and we’re overall lovely to work with.

Flower City Tree recently tackled a very complex job at our home that included removal of 5 old-growth, decaying trees spanning two adjacent properties on a steep slope with limited street access. Peter and his team worked diligently to coordinate with us and our neighbors to ensure minimal disruption on a tight cul-de-sac and left our properties clean and tidy. Despite the use of heavy equipment, our yard and our neighbors' properties appeared untouched and the team was very respectful of our ornamental flower gardens and borders. Peter and the owner did a wonderful job onsite supervising (and working!) the project and performed the job exactly as promised. The team members were all very professional and efficient and I would definitely recommend them. Btw, Flower City was the only tree service that accepted this challenge - we had many other companies refuse and/or fail to provide a quote. Thanks for all your help!

This is the first time that we have used Flower City, and we were very impressed right from the start. Last Fall, we called to get an estimate to plant green giant arborvitaes, and this is where we met Liz Bean. Liz was very knowledgeable, personable and patient with answering any questions that we had. We were so confident with Liz that we also signed up to get several areas fertilized and an ash borer treatment in the Spring as well as having mulch delivered. We had received several other estimates for the planting, treatment and ferritization and we found Flower City's prices to be the best! After Liz left, there were additional calls and text messages, and Liz was always quick to respond. Today we had our fertilization done and the person who came out was great and we are looking forward to getting the arborvitaes planted. We highly recommend this company!

We just had Flower City Tree Company out to our house yesterday. This crew was amazing. They talked us through the process first and got right to work. They had quite the removal at our house. 4 trees and trimming on other trees. They also inspected all other trees and removed any dead limbs. Told us what to expect in the future from the huge tree we have growing on our property. They really have a great crew and process system in place when removing trees. They did a great job cleaning up after the job was done. Thank you so much Flower City! You guys are awesome to work with. We will definitely call you, if we need future tree assistance. We had a great experience with Flower City Tree and would absolutely recommend and use them again!! From the competitive quote we received, to the tree removal; everything was fantastic!! The crew was very courteous, professional and arrived on time. They were very respectful of our property and cleaned up everything, you would have never known we had trees taken down.

I went to my home on my break on the day the service of tree removal was scheduled. They were almost finished with the work and it was only 10:30 in the morning. I requested that some stumps were left for me and they obliged. This team is very efficient and barely left a trace that they d been there!! I reached out to four companies and they were also the least expensive by over $1500.00!! I would recommend them to anyone who needed this service!

My giant Scotch pine is DOWN!No more needles to contend with...EVER! The entire experience has been too notch starting with Liz and on down the line. Liz is a consummate professional with a base of knowledge and experience that is "next level" in my opinion. On top of that, she is just a very kind human. The crew today were incredibly skilled, efficient and cautious, which I and, I'm sure, my neighbor appreciated. They made a difficult job look easy. The clean up was also very well done. Except for the massive change in my skyline, a new stump, and some logs that they are coming back to get, you'd never know they were here. AMAZING! Looking forward to having more work done this Winter. I will recommend Flower City Tree whenever the opportunities present themselves! Thank You!

Our experience with Flower City Tree was tremendous. From the person who first responded to my inquiry, to the estimator, to the billing staff, and of course the gentlemen who were on site removing our tree, everyone was pleasant and helpful. We had a large black walnut that towered over our home and a fully fenced yard that made access difficult. Flower City had the equipment and the know-how to safely and quickly remove the tree and grind the stump. And the clean-up was top-notch. Yes - I am the person turning into my parents (think Progressive Insurance commercial) who thinks watching the tree removal was entertainment - these guys are total professionals and it was a great experience.
