The installation day didn't go as planned - the air handler wasn't installed correctly, resulting in excessive condensation. I called home serve for assistance and they sent Derek, one of their top technicians, to fix the issue. He reconfigured the Plymouth to fit the air handler properly, doing a great job.

I recently had a disastrous experience with Homeserve, a home services company that left me feeling frustrated and misled. In January, I contacted them to fix an issue with my pre-existing thermostat, which I had paid for premium heat and AC coverage on. Despite this, the repairman who showed up installed a Honeywell 2437 thermostat without verifying that both the heat and AC were working properly.

When I asked him to test the AC, he claimed it could potentially damage the unit. Fortunately, the heat worked fine, but my problems began when I tried to use my AC on June 19th and it didn't work at all. I called Homeserve again, and this time they sent another technician who spent an hour fiddling with thermostat wires before telling me that I needed an electrician. After paying his bill of $107, I was still left without functioning AC.

I reluctantly hired an electrician, who recommended that I also need an HVAC specialist to fix the wiring issue caused by Homeserve's initial mistake. The diagnosis revealed that the RJC wire had never been connected correctly, and it took another $150 for the repair to be completed.

The whole ordeal cost me over $600, which was a huge expense for what could have been prevented if Homeserve had installed the thermostat correctly in the first place. I'm left feeling misled and frustrated with the service I received from this company.

In hindsight, I should have trusted my instincts and not paid for premium coverage that turned out to be worthless. Thankfully, I found a reliable and trustworthy HVAC specialist in Frank Coria Heating and AC from Staten Island NY, who has fixed the issue quickly and efficiently. It's clear that Homeserve is more interested in making money than providing good service, so I'm glad to be done with them.

I was expecting Michael to check on my heat pump condenser noise, but things took a turn when I mentioned that I thought it was covered under our heating plan. He disagreed and said there's a separate plan in place for it. I had been told two months ago that it was indeed covered, so I asked him to hold off on anything until I could confirm again. However, he did mention that extremely cold temperatures might have caused the noise, which seemed plausible since it only started when it got really chilly.

When I finally turned the heat pump back on and didn't hear any unusual noises, I couldn't help but wonder why HomeServe never informed me about the separate coverage in the first place. Given that I pay for all their plans, except one I don't need, I'm surprised they wouldn't have mentioned it. The fact that HomeServe installed my heat pump just a few years ago for $4,000 makes this oversight even more puzzling.

Despite this issue, I've always been satisfied with HomeServe's service in the past. They did an excellent job replacing my underground water main without charging me a dime, which would have cost around $10,000 if they had used an excavator to dig up the street. However, this recent experience has left me questioning their communication and coverage policies.

The installation seemed satisfactory, but we were left without full heat for two days due to the system being drained instead of blown dry. The freezing temperatures exacerbated the issue, causing our baseboard heat to become frozen and only functional in a few rooms. As a result, most of the house lacked heat until the installation was complete. If the plumbing had been properly dried, this might not have happened.

Additionally, we were not informed about the temporary loss of heat beforehand, which left us with limited options when dealing with temperatures in single digits. I'm still waiting for management to respond to my calls regarding this matter.

I called the service center to get a quote for purging my hydronic heating system after I noticed air trapped in it. They quoted me a $99 fee for a technician's visit, and any repairs or extra work would be additional. I already knew what was wrong and just wanted an estimate.

They said they couldn't provide a price without inspecting the system, so I went ahead with the appointment. When the technician arrived, he told me the cost of purging the system was nearly $500 plus the initial fee.

I was surprised by how pricey this simple task turned out to be. What's more frustrating is that if they have pricing information, why couldn't they just check it themselves and give a clear quote upfront? The pricing seems deliberately unclear and misleading.

In the end, I ended up paying $99 plus tax for an in-person quote that could've been done over the phone.

I'm extremely dissatisfied with my experience with HomeServe. The contractor had to perform electrical work outside, which involved disconnection from the utility company. To shut off power, they dug a 3'x3'x10" hole - but forgot to remove an emergency cone left behind. Now everyone's pointing fingers at each other about who's responsible for filling the hole with dirt. Despite multiple attempts, nothing has been resolved. As a result, I will not be renewing my contract with HomeServe.

Brendan Soria, the HomeServe sales manager, provided top-notch customer service during my recent HVAC replacement ordeal. He's a genuine professional who knows his stuff and took care of me every step of the way.

After my old system failed after years of service, I called HomeServe for assistance. Brendan jumped into action immediately, and we worked together to get a new system in place. The technician duo from HomeServe, led by Kenny, arrived promptly to install the new unit. The result is a efficient cooling system that's greatly improved our home's comfort level – no more freezing temperatures or having to purchase portable units as a temporary fix.

What impressed me most was Brendan's recommendation of a new Premier Heat and Cool Plus plan, which ended up saving me money compared to my old plan. His guidance helped me make an informed decision.

I've been a HomeServe customer for several years now, and their service has always delivered. I highly recommend using them for your HVAC needs.

I recently needed assistance with two technicians who responded to a gas meter issue at my home. They were highly professional, knowledgeable, and experienced, yet friendly and businesslike. It was a relief to have them in my home during a stressful time. Their expertise and courtesy earned me renewed confidence in the service contract I've had for a long while. Hakeem and Mike exemplify the high standards of your organization - their professionalism is truly commendable.

I recently discovered a leak in my circulating pump, which was causing both oil and water issues. I contacted HomeServe about the problem and got a quick response. The first service visit didn't resolve the issue, so I followed up and another technician, Salah, came to fix it by tightening some bolts. However, the same problem persisted the next day, prompting me to report the issue again. Thankfully, Salah returned and replaced the faulty pump with a new one that doesn't require maintenance oil. He showed great expertise and kept his workspace tidy, and now everything is running smoothly.

Had a gas furnace emergency during this brutal cold snap! Called HomeServe, got through to someone immediately and scheduled a same-day fix. Technician showed up ahead of schedule and had all necessary parts on hand. He was super knowledgeable and seemed like he'd dealt with countless similar issues before. Made what felt like an everyday problem for him extremely stressful for me - thanks for saving the day!

Master Plumber came to tackle two plumbing issues, but their day was filled with sweat and elbow grease as they struggled to connect two elbow fittings that caused a mess with the silver soldering. The problem persisted, with one elbow leaking water and another requiring a pressure relief valve replacement that started spewing water like a river when pressure increased on the boiler.

It's puzzling why they didn't have a new crimping tool or elbows specifically designed for the hot water tank in their truck, as those were used during its previous installation. Instead, they went along with what was available. When another plumber stopped by and admitted they lacked the necessary equipment to stop the leak, it raised further concerns about their competence.

To make matters worse, the customer was informed that most of the staff would be on vacation for a while, including after the Christmas holiday, leaving them without a solution for an already pressing problem. The repair company's stance on covering expenses for a proper fix proved unacceptable, especially considering they couldn't send anyone in the first place.

This isn't an isolated incident – other homeowners, including the president of the community, have experienced similar subpar service from Master Plumber. For instance, a woman who is legally blind had her boiler serviced and was told not to turn it on for hours during the coldest day of January, only for her pipes to burst and cause significant damage. The repair company refused to cover the expenses for repairs and replacement materials.

It's hard not to express strong dissatisfaction with Master Plumber's performance.
