I could not recommend Bill Fowler and his team at ProCut any higher. Quickly came for an estimate and provided a reasonable estimate right on the spot. His team was then at my house first thing the very next day. As far as the work goes, my wife an I could not be happier with the outcome. We had sod, plantings (trees, bushes, shrubs) sprinkler system and landscape lighting installed and all looks phenomenal. I even texted Bill about minor touch ups after the job was completed while he was away and his team was here the next day.
I will definitely use Bill and his team again if/when needed!

After meeting with several pool companies, we chose ProCut for two reasons.

1. We liked that they would manage the whole project. With the other pool companies we met with, you have to contract separately with the landscaper to finish the job. Pool companies will not do things like regrade your backyard and build retaining walls (both things we needed). ProCut has existing relationships with pool companies, electricians, and plumbers etc. and they oversee all aspects of the project.
2. We had a good feeling about Alex. When we first met Alex, he told us that he does not just install pools, he transforms backyards. He asked what our ideal backyard would look like, then worked within our budget to make our dreams come true and we could not be happier.

In addition to a free form heated pool with surrounding pavers, ProCut installed two retaining walls, one natural stone to level off the yard, and a second one with paving stones behind the pool with a water feature. They regraded the backyard, and did extensive tree stump removal (Alex was upfront and honest that he was not the most economical choice to clear a section of our backyard and referred us to a tree removal company). They installed fencing, planted trees for privacy, and laid down sod. They also installed the drainage system that was required by town code.

We are both very detail oriented and Alex and his team were very easy to work with. When issues did come up he was able to come up with solutions that were often better than the initial design, and he did not nickel and dime us with change orders in the process. He is very passionate about landscape design and has extensive knowledge on construction and pool installation best practices. The crew lead by Hilmer was hard working and a pleasure to deal with. The town building inspector said it was the cleanest pool job site he has ever seen.
We are very happy with the results and highly recommend working with Alex.

Adam has been a preferred contractor with Kaye Charles Real Estate for the past couple of years. He is consistently reliable, is knowledgeable and honest and is fair in his pricing. His work has always been to a high standard and he is quick to respond to any job request. Highly recommended - great tradie.

Had a sprinkler system installed. First off they beat EVERY PRICE I got from others. Second, I dealt with Alex who is nothing but professional and courteous! He does business the correct way. His work was IMPECCABLE! His workers were nothing but professional and courteous to me and my family! Alex and the team do fantastic work. I had to replace a large concrete walkway and front porch. They removed the broken old structure and meticulously build an extremely high quality natural stone front porch with beautiful steps and a built in bench. It looks so much better now and is built to last a lifetime. Alex put together a fantastic design and he and the team completed a big job in an efficient timeframe. I highly recommend Procut.

In repairing my front sidewalk, Pro Cut team was communicative and thorough throughout the process, put in long hours, and showed great attention to detail. Would highly recommend.

I can describe my week long experience with this business as a Jekyll and Hyde episode. The person Alex, who I met at my home was easy going, appeared accommodating and was not the same person who barely a week later rejected doing our job. As a veteran corporate worker, what I witnesed was poor communication and project management skills and, exteme unprofessionalism. Alex, the VP estimator project manager guy, who drew up our proposal has a quick temper and forceful manner. He scheduled the job then called the morning of to say they couldn't go because marking had to be done. All I wanted was to understand what was going on with how our project was being scheduled. He steamrolled me, he didn't give me the opportunity to speak - but in the middle of our call he did tell me that the call was being recorded without proper disclosure or having my consent at the beginning of the call- all while accusing me of being aggressive. The office manager, Nicole is well mannered and took the time to explain to me the steps that needed to be taken to begin. My money was promptly refunded but now my project is in limbo.

I used Pro-Cut last year for a natural stone patio that we were having installed at our house. After having met several other companies, I called Pro-Cut and met Alex. Alex was extremely responsive throughout the project and was able to handle any curve balls the project through at it. He gave me some great ideas to improve our outdoor living space and was able to highlight the pros and cons of each suggestion I had. As a first time homebuyer, I am an extremely "picky" person who wants to make sure everything is perfect so we spent a significant amount of time going back and forth on stone options. Alex was more than flexible in meeting me at several stone yards (some 45 minutes away) to look through their inventory and choose the right product for our yard. The team at Pro-Cut worked hard and were extremely respectful to my wife and kids while performing the work and the patio turned out great. I have since hired Alex to take care of several other landscaping projects around the yard (installed a kids swingset pad, planted trees etc) and they have done a tremendous job. I am also considering changing lawn care services and using their lawn service next year.

Alex did a great job on our new build. Was a complicated job with elements of landscaping, drainage and paving and we were very happy with all 3. Alex created a solid design plan and finished the job on time and on budget.

I have been using Pro-Cut to install & maintain my lawn irrigation system for many years now. Their office staff & service personnel are always cheerful, professional & very accommodating. I definitely would recommend them for sprinkler installation & seasonal maintenance!

I have used ProCut for over 20 years. Their regular maintenance service is excellent. They really shine with special landscaping projects. Working with Alex and his team is a pleasure, and the results always exceed my expectations. In addition, they stand behind their work and their products. Highly recommended.

Our home is located on a steep hillside in Piermont and taking on any projects, especially landscaping/exterior work, has proved to be an extra challenge. Finding a landscaping partner that knows the area and that is ready and willing to help with cleanup, design, soft and hardscaping has been an ongoing process. Thankfully, we found Alex and the team at Pro-cut. They have not only been incredibly responsive and helpful, but they have sent a fabulous crew every time. Professional, courteous and just down right good at their jobs. To-date, we have used Pro-cut for pesky bamboo removal, seasonal clean-up, sod placement, rock placement and stone work, mulching, planting, and design consult. We highly recommend these guys even if we really want to keep them all to ourselves!

We have been using procut for the past 3 years. The first year we had a few issues but Bill had his guys come right back over to fix what happened. Since then we are very happy with them. People are always commenting how nice our grass looks. Plus the girls in the office are really nice and super helpful!

I was really impressed with Alex and his team, his professionalism, experience, confidence and willingness to work with us on our unusual requirements. We definitely made the right decision! I am a DIY former general contractor in previous career and I had considered doing the work myself. The craftsmanship, attention to detail, quality, and downright respect for your property was outstanding. I admit it, I watched them work (from the shadows 😉). Not only did they NOT "cut corners" they went above and "over the top"! I would recommend to every single friend I have!

Bill Fowler handled the planning and execution of my backyard transformation quickly and beautifully.
He drew up a plan so that I could see his ideas on paper, complete with measurements and materials that I could choose from.
The crew showed up every day until the job was complete, and never left a mess.
I had another estimate from a company I use regularly, and Pro Cut was more reasonable.
I am thrilled with the results from his ideas and love the view from my window!

Bill and team came through for us when our power line broke between the power company box and our house. He was able to pull his team to excavate, call a fantastic electrician who was able to get the house back with power before nightfall (no small feat with the heat). Bill’s concern for making sure my family had air conditioning going into a heat wave and not having any of our food spoil was awesome. I would highly recommend Pro Cut for landscaping or any service needs. Him and the office team are always professional and helpful!

I was very happy with the foundation drainage Pro Cut installed on two sides of my late 1970s home. The job was to seal, install a membrane, put in gravel, and connect to a drain for a section of the front foundation; and the correction of water intrusion through the top of my foundation in the back.

I got several estimates, and they came back competitively on price, but as important were the only ones to accurately diagnose the problem going on in the back. We have a cantilevered pop out from our kitchen with steps to the backyard that extend past the back roof. And the original patio which rises above the foundation. During heavy rains, water would get below the steps, drip back over the pavers, and seep through on top of the foundation into the basement.

They did a thorough job and were good about walking me through a couple of tweaks in scope based on what we found digging things up. Would recommend.

Simply the BEST landscaping company!!!!! Bill, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable, creative and will work with you and your budget. My lawn has never looked so great and everyone who visits always complements it. Pro Cut’s staff is equally as great. Customer service is superb- Bill is always one phone call away and his assistants Dahiana and Nicole are always available to answer any questions. The level of professionalism in the work of the Pro Cut team is clearly visible in everything they do. I’ve done many landscaping projects with Pro Cut- from the planting of trees, to removing a concrete patio to installing pavers to adding pool lights- and the employees are always willing to stay late to finish the work with a smile on their face and I have to say that I am always impressed with the final product. I’ve recommended Pro Cut to many of my family members and I always get the same feedback from them- expression of gratitude for the recommendation because the work is just exceptional. Worth every single penny that you spend.

Procut was unbelievable: fast regarding the initial evaluation and estimate, and the subsequent work was impeccable. Plus, the price was amazing and the customer service was great. It was a joy dealing with this company—highly recommend!

Yes you will pay top dollar according to the mission statement. But your supposed to get the best results. You will only get average if your lucky, on top of terrible organization and response. I have dealt with them on numerous occasions all based on a big project at my house. The workers are great hard workers. My problem is with the company men not the workers. For example I paid for 5 yards of top soil. I’m lucky if I got 2 yards. Small example. But I addressed this issue and it was brushed off. I’m in the business of moving earth so I know what to expect. One of my bushes died they planted, they replaced it with a different type of bush but same family of azalea. It is totally different but way nicer than the other 10 they planted. I should have gotten these extremely nicer plants in the first place. One of my points how you’ll pay top dollar but not get that amazing final result, not to mention I had to be around daily to instruct the guys of the project specs. The end result is just ok. Which I didn’t pay for just ok. I payed for exceptional. Go with someone else.
