Update 10 Jan 25: I am absolutely back on Team Core. In short, they were in a period of what I call the Woodsman paradox - You don't have time to sharpen your ax to chop down more trees. Excellent and professional response from Core after a hiccup.

Buyer beware!!! Core remodeling promotes itself in high end neighborhoods hoping to work on projects with no budget. They use sub-standard subcontractors and charge above standard prices. They do not adhere to any design specs, budgets, or timelines. We provided blueprints for cabinetry for our remodel. They would not use the company that did our designs to build them. The subcontractor did not follow the blueprints and we ended up paying for something we didn't want and CORE stiffed the designer in the process. We provided written description and drawings of tile design. Core didn't adhere to the design or the tile itself. Instead installed tile that they wanted us to use in a design they wanted. I made them change it to what we wanted, per the design and contract, and they charged us for the change...among many other issues.
BOTTOM LINE: if you have an unlimited budget, unlimited amount of time, no idea what you want design-wise, and an unlimited amount of patiences to deal with all this, then core is for you. If not, save yourself the time, money, and headaches and go with someone else. After all, you can overpay on any construction project, you may as well get what you want out of it.

Water suddenly began dripping from my ceiling, and I needed a plumber right away. The local plumbing companies were booked for the next 3 days and I really needed help that day. I reached out to Core Remodeling and they came and diagnosed the problem and started fixing it right away.

Dining room lights went out and this time Core sent me an electrician to fix the problem quickly and efficiently. I recommend Core Remodeling for all of your home remodeling needs.

The Core Remodeling team is top notch! I was impressed with their team from the start. The first meeting was really eye opening....I thought I had my project idea nailed but Adrian and team brought me new ideas and concepts. We avoided a big costly mistake thanks to their expertise. From concept to construction and then to the finishing work....The team was on the ball. We are very happy and will gladly recommend them to our friends and family!

I highly recommend Core Remodeling for any home remodeling project! This company really cares about the work they do. I contacted them to discuss a plan for a finished attic project, and I spoke with the owner Adrian who explained the process for receiving a quote and how the project would be completed. After a consultation, we decided to move forward and the crew was fast and efficient and the quality was outstanding. The crew completely cleaned up after and I couldn’t be more pleased with the end result. I will most certainly contact Core Remodeling when I need my next major home project.

It's clear the company wasn’t interested in doing business with me. I've reached out a DOZEN times to move forward with my counter top purchase and can never get anything but a run around and handoff to someone who never reaches out. Extremely disappointed! I was sent to the slab yard to pick my stone the beginning of Jan 2022. To date, I still can’t get a response about getting a quote or my countertops installed.

We had 12 Stones do a kitchen remodel. We shopped around at various places for cabinets and they came through with the best quality and best price. They also got us a great deal on new countertops and backsplash. We saw first hand the work they did on my wife’s sisters house and we are so grateful for the work they did.

Twelve Stones Building Company were phenomenal to work with. They remodeled our downstairs bedroom/bathroom, built us an additional bathroom and repaired an HVAC water issue in our living room. Preston's team is honest, hard working, technically capable, friendly, timely, and thorough. We will use his services again in the future when we do our kitchen remodel. Anyone reading this review will not find a better choice of construction company to work with.

We worked with 12 Stones to add a couple of rooms to our home, remodel our kitchen and add a deck onto our screened porch. We are SO happy with the results! They were great to work with from start to finish. Good people who do good work with a good attitude. We hope to use them on a few more remodeling projects in our home and i always think that is the highest recommendation you can give.

We did a huge remodel of our main floor and our 2nd story Owner's bathroom and closet. We had 26 years of memories in this house and we needed a refresh. I have an art background and had lots of ideas. They were very patient with me in seeing my ideas come to fruition. They even worked through design situations with me that arose along the way. All their subs were professional and friendly which made us feel comfortable during the months long process.
We added only 44 square feet to the kitchen but it made a HUGE impact! We enjoy our new space so much and can barely remember it the old way!

We love 12 Stones so much and highly recommend them for anyone wanting good quality work done. Our first project with them was a complete kitchen remodel. They helped us to stay within our budget while still getting a beautiful and much more functional kitchen. They were so easy to work with, communication was great, and quick to resolve any unexpected issues that came up. We had such a great experience with them that we decided to completely remodel our guest bathroom and we are currently planning a primary bed and bath remodel! Both of our spaces we have done are almost unrecognizable! Sharing before and afters.

Twelve Stones is phenomenal! We hired them in 2025 to complete a full kitchen remodel for our home in Apex, NC. We approached them initially because we like the style of their previous work and had used them to supply individual home products like cabinets and floor tile. From the moment we approached them for this full remodel they were professional, easy to work with, and top notch.

On price: they provided an initial quote for us and stuck to it, all the way to the end. The only changes in price came from true changes in scope that we added along the way. It was completely turn-key. They never nickel-and-dimed us.

Every single one of the craftsmen that worked on the kitchen was fantastic. They treated our home like it was their own, and never settled for work that they were not completely happy with themselves. Nick was our main point of contact for most of the work, and he was absolutely amazing to work with.

In the end, we got EXACTLY what we were dreaming of. Since completion, we have enjoyed every single aspect and have zero regrets. I cannot recommend Twelve Stones enough. This was a major renovation - if they can handle something like this with quality and professionalism, I wouldn't hesitate for a second to hire them for anything.

Great place to shop. Do NOT use any of their installation services. These people NEVER keep to an agreed schedule date. Its not worth the 5% savings in labor. For gutters, flooring, siding, and cabinetry installation, shop local!

They delivered damaged goods, refused to do the install they were paid to do, dumped the unopened box on my 18 year old cousin who was there to let them in while I was out of town. Then refused to replace the damaged unit because it hadn't been reported in 48 hours.

The store and delivery service knew I would be out if town and never thought to mention that having it delivered while I was away would apparently disqualify me from getting my unit replaced.

They took advantage of an 18 year old, never explained any of the rules to him... And then washed there hands of it. I will never trust home Depot again.

11/18/17 Update: not a good experience with delivery of my products....did not call me day before or even on that day...had to spent 5 hrs waiting for them. 3 reps gave me different info each time i called.
hope 3rd party installers are better.

Went in for flooring purchase. Excellent help from jennifer brad and roxanne in flooring.. will see how their contractor performs installation...
