We brought several plumbers by in the Spring of 2024 to solve for an awkward water heating configuration. Most of them came up with expensive and inefficient solutions. Cary Plumbing suggested a unique approach that no one had thought of. It minimized cost and fixed a glaring safety concern. Their team did an excellent job and we will be using them for future work!

Rich S. Plumbing Technician arrived today. He jumped in and got our two upstairs bathroom sink drains running clog-free. Rich is great. Thank you Rich S., Lindsey and everyone at Cary Plumbing. I hope to use them again down the road.

We had an emergency with a leaking water heater on the Friday before Labor Day. Our plumber was out of town and a referral from an HVAC company led us to Cary Plumbing. Lindsay was wonderful to work with and we had 2 guys out here within 2 hours to install a new water heater. Excellent service and we will not hesitate to use them again. Thank you, Cary Plumbing! On 10/31/2025, I called Cary plumbing as I had a diagnosed gas leak from Enbridge Gas Co.
It was already after 1PM and they close at 5PM. A serviceman arrived at 3:30, diagnosed the issue went back to shop and returned to complete the needed repair by 5PM. He was very knowledgeable about gas and gas leaks. The manager, of Cary Plumbing discussed and set up this job and I owe her a debt of gratitude. Thanks again Cary Plumbing!

We called Cary Plumbing to come take a look at a tankless water heater. The issue was never resolved. The water was extremely hot and still remains hot. The middle temperatures don’t work at all. Been a very frustrating experience.

Update: The Cary Plumbing Company reached out and helped us solve the problem. They have been very helpful every step of the way and have been very respectful and communicative. Really appreciate all the help they’ve provided with helping solve the issue.

Tuesday, we called Cary Plumbing to report a water leak and received an appointment for the next day, 1/14/26. Frankie came out early morning to assess the problem ... 2 hours later Spencer and Dom were here to replumb the attic from old, faulty, brittle pipes that are in the makings of a future class action suit. The work was completed before 5:30 p.m. and then I saw Dom vacuuming the floor!
I felt the speed with their immediate attention and solution to our problem was almost miraculous!

We have been a customer of Cary Plumbing for many years. Around 1995, we were involved with the class action suit of the polybutaline pipes fiasco. The company assigned to our home hired workers who were sloppy, reckless and unsafe. After coming home to find hot water in the toilet and a man with a blow torch in the room adjacent to our bathroom, I cordially asked them to leave our house and called Cary Plumbing to correct and finish the replumbing project.

I've worked with these folks for over a decade for my grandmother's plumbing needs. She'd been using them since they opened. Now that I live in Cary, I am using them for my own home. They are the complete package. Fair prices, good customer service, and skilled and knowledgeable tradesmen. To date, I have had them do the following work for me, without issue: Install a shutoff for the house, repair a damaged water line to the house, replace all of the valves to the sinks and toilets, etc, unclog drains, install toilets, replace the kitchen faucet, replace a hot water heater, remove an unneeded gas line, and hookup a new gas cooktop. And when it is time to retire the septic system and hookup to city sewer, they will get that job, too. Everyone I have worked with at Cary Plumbing has been great.

Similar to another reviewer, I had a washer installed and the old gate valves began to leak afterwards. I called Cary Plumbing at 8:30 the next morning, expecting next day service at best. I was pleasantly surprised when they said they would have a plumber at my house within an hour! Jason arrived, checked my water pressure, and explained my options: replace the gate valves (quickest route) or go with ball valves (a bit more time consuming). I decided to forego dealing with gate valves and have the ball valves installed. Jason got to work and expertly removed the valves from my old copper pipes. An hour later, I had new valves working perfectly. He tested for leaks before leaving and I'm glad he did because he discovered that my old washer hoses were also leaking. Great service and I'd definitely have them again for any plumbing issues.

Fantastic company that did great work on fixing the water pressure issues in our house. Donnie was a true professional and provided information at every step about what he was doing and why. I cannot recommend these folks enough - they are trustworthy and knowledgeable.

I've been using Cary Plumbing for about 15 years. They are 100% reliable and do excellent work. And they don't gouge for the work they do. I've had them do a bathroom install on a basement project. Had them install a new water heater and have gotten estimates from them for other work as well. This time was to replace the main pressure valve and water heater expansion tank. Outstanding service and value.

We have used Cary Plumbing since 2018. They re-piped our entire house (their specialist team replaced all the polybutylene with PEX—thanks, Ford!), had someone patch up all the drywall, installed and have provided maintenance for our tankless water heater, and today the same amazing service we have come to associate with Cary Plumbing from Cody. Cannot recommend them highly enough, and everyone we have dealt with have always been “good people,” kind and professional, every time.

Our tankless water heater stopped working. I called and Cary Plumbing sent their lead tankless technician, Bailey Hall, out quickly. Bailey diagnosed the problems, called the company that manufactured the water heater, determined that all the parts that failed were under warranty (even though they were over 10 years old), got the replacement parts shipped, and came back a few days later to install the new parts and get us back up and running. Bailey was always extremely professional, nice, smart, and effective. We will call Cary Plumbing and request Bailey every time.

Called Cary Plumbing with a leaking water heater that we suspected needed to be replaced. Kimberly talked me through the process and asked me to email some pictures. She responded with a quote for a replacement in about 5 minutes and when I called to confirm to move forward, the techs were already loading the truck. We appreciated that the techs checked to confirm the water heater couldn't be repaired before starting on the replacement. Our water heater replacement was finished about 2.5 hrs after my first phone call! Overall very happy with the service and price.

Cary Plumbing sent an excellent professional. He was on time, courteous and very experienced. He made 3 small repairs, in very little time. And he went further and provided information that I never got from other plumbers. It seems the water pressure in my home is a little high, which can create problems in the long run.

Got a washing machine installed…. Found out the washer valve was broken / leaking and needed repaired… called Cary plumbing at 9:30am. 10am Cary plumbing had already sent Donnie out, he was able to assess and get the 1993 gate valves replaced with the better 90 degree shut off valves.
